You might have better luck if you post some screenies. I know i prefer to agree to a commission after seeing a character.

Electagonist means screenshots of your character from withing the game.
Your default key for taking shreenshots within the game is your 'Print Screen' key. Depending on your OS, this may or may not work properly.
You would then paste the image into a graphics program (MSPaint, Photo Shop, Gimp, ec.) save it, then upload it to an image hosting website like Photobucket.

What's the Default Key?
It's the Print Screen key. It may say Prnt Scrn
Typically (but not always,) the 'Print Screen'/'Prt Scr' button is locatedd to the right of your Function keys.
When you hit your 'Print Screen' button, the screenshot is stored in the screenshots subdirectory of the City of Heroes application directory (C:\Program Files\City of Heroes\screenshots) unless you installed CoX into another directory.
So, if you take a screenshot in-game CoX will automatically place that image into your \screenshots folder.
If you're using a Mac, the typical screenshot command is apple+Shift+3 (at least that's what mac help told me) as for in-game, I have no idea what the default is for screenshots are on a Mac.
I use a MacBook and I always re-bind the screenshot key to another button. Its just easier that way.

I figured it would be, but the OP hasn't mentioned what OS they are using and I figured I'd throw that out there just in case. To me a 3-key screenshot would be a pain in the tuccus.
As it is, my laptop requires (fn)+(prt scn), I remapped it to the Delete key for jpg's and the Home key for tga's.

No, you don't. All it does is save "what you see" to a temporary clipboard.
What you DO need if you want to *alter* the images, is a paint program.
However, if you just happily click printscreen in the game, during regular play, your screenshots will all appear in the City of heroes/screenshots folder on your hard drive.
** Screenshots taken this way don't normally include the user interface.
** Screenshots from the character creation screen or the tailor must immediately be pasted into a paint program to be visible, otherwise they just don't show up anywhere.

How do I access the Screenshot Folder?
You need to access your hard drive. The folder you are looking for should look something like this: C:\Program Files\City of Heroes\screenshots
I'm guessing that you don't have much computer experience? 
If you're using Windows XP, it will be found by clicking the "my computer" icon, then your hard drive (should be c, and from there, "program files". In Program Files the City of Heroes directory will be available. You can open that folder and in it you'll find all the stuff that runs City of Heroes, including the Screenshots folder. It will be named exactly that, Screenshots.
