Does look pretty cool. Though other than the swords, can't you fake most of that with current costume options?
All things considered, I think there is less of a need for a full "anime pack" and just simply a need for a few more costume pieces here and there. Since there were martial arts heroes even in older comics it wouldn't be horribly out of place--it would just need some fine tuning so it would be decently stylish. -
Most intriging. I actually look forward to seeing more of your reviews. One suggestion: since 1 is "good" and 5 is bad, perhaps you should state your ratings as negatives so that they are less confusing when compared to other ratings. A "-5" as opposed to 5

Quite fun and I think I discovered a useful team gladiator tactic (after the matches, lol). A rather large number of Blasters but that's okay, you'll be dominated in the future.

As Kitsune says, Someone has to be the Justice League/Avengers of the setting, and not everyone can make the list. In some games (games with open PvP and dynamic environments) who gets to claim their palce at the top of the pyramid has a lot more to do with player interaction, I grant you, and I for one would love to see a superhero game like that. But in a static-world, linear type game in the WoW model, such as City of Heroes, the only practical solution si for those people to be NPCs.

This brings up an intriguing point. I've been studying game design and one thing I read that struck me as interesting was player perception and MMOs. It said that in any given video game you generally want the player to be in the "top 10 percentile" of the in game universe. This is easy in a single player game but becomes difficult in multiplayer games. For MMOs, the workaround is for the NPCs to fill in the lower/weaker/poorer 90% of the game. The player will be inherantly "better" than most of the game's inhabitants. The real trick winds up being that once this state is obtained, how do you provide a proper challenge?
It seems like that is the crux of the "problem" here. How do you make the player feel powerful without making the rest of the game a cakewalk. A number of creative suggestions have been presented on how to have more innovative enemies than just sacks of HP and damage. Applying these to some AVs that are "normal" people or even some of the heavy hitters. I'm new so I haven't gone against Countess Crey yet but that concept of making her "weak" but giving her a ton of shenanigans sounds like a great idea and it would make for a more memorable experience. In theory, this could also be used with a Manticore fight. Batman has defeated Superman numerous times in the comics despite the vast strength differences due to tactics. Situations like that would be good for the game and may even give some builds a chance to shine.

I have an arc *points at sig* but no Avs yet since I'm still new to the game and learning my way around. Probably won't be any in that arc but with the ability to purchase more slots I'll have a likelyhood of doing so. -
My current arc doesn't have a defeat all though it would arguably help the player with the final mission since it's an escort. The original question still stands...

In all due respect, I tend to hate the "standard" defeat all mission which is why I'm curious about this specific option. It seems like I15 might need one of two more QoL features for the MA maps if there isn't a definitive answer. -
Was looking at the parameters for Defeat All and it had one for "...everyone in the last room" as opposed to the entire map. Interesting. How do you tell what is the last room area in order to meet this condition?

Teleport Foe has a Magnitude of 2.1.
The magnitude of protection by foe rank is:
minions: 1
lt.s: 2
bosses 3
Thus, TPFoe works v. minions and lieutenants.... if they're even con to you.
When foes are a higher or lower level to you, the Purple Patch kicks in and it affects their Magnitude.
When a lieutenant is +1 to you in level, they are at a 1.1 multiplier to their TPFoe Magnitude Protection, making it 2.2. And since your TPFoe power is lower than their Magnitude of Protection, then it won't work. So, Yellow lieutenants and lower you can TPFoe. Orange and higher, you can't.

Is there any reason why Atlas has a Vault + Wentworth's and Galaxy doesn't? I prefer the comparative quiet of Galaxy but was just curious.

I'd actually like to start it earlier but I'll be unavailable from 8:30 to 9:30. Either it would have to be much earlier in the day or it would have to be moved to another date. Suggestions more than welcome.

Arguably, once an arc reaches HoF status, it should have that status as somewhat "locked" until either an exploit is discovered or the author edits the arc. If editted it may need a re-evaluation of whether or not it is within the score needed but otherwise this seems like a simpler way to prevent problems.

Gauging interest since I haven't done any SFs yet (I'm new) and was hoping to do one with my MM or Stalker. Preferably my Stalker though the MM has TP (both Friend and Foe).
