Did anyone else notice that in the rating section of the 2nd tutorial it showed the operator clicking each star from 1 up?
I had to laugh, it was too funny. Especially when my wife blew me a rasberry and did a "I told you so" at me.
I give up. I'm never going to tell people there is a "right" way to vote again. If that means fewer tickets so be it.

ooooh. I always figured you only get one shot, so that you DID have to click on the 3rd star if you wanted to rate it 3 stars.
However, in the video, it makes it seem like you can click and unclick stars till you select the rating you want, and it doesn't matter until you close the window.
Is there any affirmative documentation on this?
If it's not until you close the window and hit "FINISHED" then I can see ratings changing as folks did various missions in an arc--i.e. I rated it 4 cause I liked the FIRST missh, but after completing missh 3 (or being UNABLE to complete it due to something like an unreasonable EB that isn't labeled properly) I find it's a turd and rate it 2. Ofcourse, if it's like that I would bet most don't know.
I ALWAYS thought it was the FIRST rating you gave it was what counted.

I'm 99% positive that you can change your vote and it works fine for ratings... but you only get tickets from the first click each week.

Okay. I have a feeling that this something most folks don't know/realize.
There was a whole discussion about having to play an entire arc to rate it being not a good idea, and about how you shouldn't judge an arc based on just the first missh, or one missh out of 3, 4, or 5 for that matter.
Based on those discussions, I'm getting the feeling that MANY don't know this.

The vast majority of people I've talked to about how they vote are just like my wife. They think it is only natural that you would "fill in" each star until you have the number of stars you need.
This tutorial only reinforces her opinion which I think is pretty funny and she does too.
But I can tell you that when I published my first arc I had a 4 star rating (the traitor ) with 1 vote but no tickets when she used her fill-in method after playing it. That is pretty ancedotal I know, especially since I didn't know back then that I was supposed to get tickets for votes. That's why I qualify my assumption. I'm not positive what I'm saying is true but I do belive it is right.
That might explain why my missions seem to be maintaining a 4 star average, but I rarely see a receipt of tickets with the message that someone has rated my arc. Maybe I'm just not noticing them, but many times I have see one message, but not the other. I think they need to make sure that people know what each click on a star will do. Either that or the assignment of the rating and the tickets should only be recorded when you hit 'finish'.

My experience has shown you only get ticket rewards for the first star you click. That really sucks that they're teaching players to rate in a way that denies the author tickets.

How many people here have IGN accounts? We just might have to email/PM their attention on this.
*facepalm*
Every time I think about how this dialog was designed, it makes me cringe.
And for a while things were cold,
They were scared down in their holes
The forest that once was green
Was colored black by those killing machines
