Quote:I couldn't disagree more.-120 tohit debuff will bring you nothing useful. mobs without debuff resistance will die anyway, mobs with tohit resistance will be capped somewhere by 30-40%.
so, what can fluffy do?
1. -tohit. hardly worth the effort. all dark skills have -tohit anyway. darkest night -20, fearsome stare -13, twilight -5. and even base -tohit on all fluffy skills are 2x -30 and 2x -5. that more then enough to do the job.
2. hold. 2-3 sec longer hold is nothing useful too.
3. heal. now we talking business. 238.81 unsloted, twice the number if sloted. other healing skillsets dream about such numbers.
therefore 5 touch of the nictus and one recharge reduction.
First, the heals: They go off whenever Fluffy feels like it and more often than not, not when you need it, and when you do need it, you're not in range. Since the heal is just one of the powers, slotting for heal is slotting for a part time benefit. And if you have Fluffy, well, you have a better heal than Fluffy does in your own Twilight Grasp which goes off when you want it to.
Second, the -ToHit. If you think -120% ToHit isn't worthwhile... you just don't understand the game mechanics. That amount of ToHit Debuff automatically floors the chance-to-hit of foes that don't resist it. So, it's like having Soft Capped Defense. For foes that do resist it, you're down to about -20% ToHit, which is roughly equivalent to +20 Defense, which is nothing to sneeze at, and when combined with other Defenses could very well get you to a Soft Capped Defense position.
Also, since each power of Fluffy can take -ToHit, then any Proc from a -ToHit Set has a chance to go off with every power activation. A Healing Proc will only go off intermittently.
Fluffy slotted for -ToHit is a black hole of accuracy and can comfortably tank two EBs for ya. -

Quote:Skill is:Have you ever seen or been:
A Dark Melee character that consistently hits 2-3 enemies with Shadow Maul?
A Stalker that times an AS to kill a Paragon Protector before they hit their tier 9?
A Dom/Cont/Tank/Brute that keeps that second or third mob busy while the team is working on the first?
A Ranged character that can perfectly pull troublesome groups consistently?
Ever used a god mode power and drop the last enemy just as you crash?
those are all shows of skill.
Babysitting Desdemona from start to finish in an UG trial and getting the Badge/Astral for not letting her health get too low.
Getting a defeated teammate back into action even if you don't have a rez power by dropping an Awaken on them and moving the foes away so they can get up safely.
Getting a MM to function effectively on the 'destroy the objects' phase of a Lamda.
Not ever dying from any of the various patches of death: pink, blue, green, and yellow diamonds.
Knowing how to make the cave layer cake room a piece of cake and make it happen (all jump to the bottom and then someone's job is just to pull all the other mobs into the bottom trap of death).
Checking out the /info on your teammates so you know how to play to their strengths
Adjusting playstyle depending on team make up and their skill level. (If there are no Tankers on the team, then my D3 tanks. If they're are two Tankers on the team, then my D3 focuses on damage. If the two Tankers are reluctant to jump in and take the alpha, then my D3 is back to tanking.) -
Fast recharging and crashless nuke you can fire off from around a corner out of sight and then add another damage patch on top of that.

You know... if they put out 10 new sets for sale in one year, and you don't have any intention to make at least one new toon using each of the sets... you don't have to buy all the sets, just the ones you use. You don't *have to* have every set unlocked on one's account if you're not going to use it. In fact, you can be patient and wait for sales. If you want to just get a feel for the set, then Beta Server is that way --->

Quote:Nope, the Bootleg was just a trial account. The F2P game is now the trial account. Although, it is possible you'll get 14 days of VIP status.I currently have a free account and an unused Bootleg CD-Key. Will i get anything from activating the key on the account?
Sincerely,

Quote:A Statesman v. Tyrant splasher?! Are you crazy?! Do you know what sort of slashpocalypse Golden Girl would make of that?!!One thing that's always bugged me about the States vs. ACU image, in all its variations - why are we showing the Superman of the setting going up against a lieutenant-level robot on anything like equal terms? Put him against his opposite number, or one of the other Praetors, but he should be able to knock down IDF 'bots like bowling pins.

Quote:Buff icons are notoriously less than correct.I swear around ~i20 on some >perma hasten builds I remember seeing it double stack in my buff bar for a short duration before the initial cast wore off.
And even if two icons are showing, that doesn't mean both buffs are stacking. It means they would be stacking if they can.
Quote:Also - I thought that if you had Hasten at say 115 sec. recharge so as to be fully perma, including recast time, such that it always replaces itself before expiration, you could avoid the endurance crash. But that does not seem to be the way it works anymore. Was it changed or is my memory just failing? -
Quote:I tend to start with a Black or White base, then pick a secondary color, then add any accent colors.
A large portion of my costumes follow this scheme:
Primary: Black OR White
Secondary: <Color>
Accent: White OR Black <OR 2nd Color>
None of that's all that Unusual, though.
To get to 'unusual', pick a softened color (black-muted or white-washed) other than black or white to be your 'base.' It's what the fashion biz calls a 'neutral' color.
So, take green. Mute it to a dark hunter-green, or lighten it to a pastel-green. That is now your base, i.e., neutral. To that, you can add bright and vivid green highlights, which is now your second color. To that, you can add a third color as the secondary base: a dark orange or a light purple or a bright yellow. You can even add another neutral such as black or white.
Also note that high shine colors act as neutrals since their vividness is washed out by the sheen and reflection. Thus a bright yellow-orange on a shiny metal costume piece is really a neutral and will read as golden.
This neutralization of color is the way of the blue jeans. The blue jeans is not a vivid blue: it's either a dark wash (black muted) or faded (white wash). That is a neutral on which any color top would work. -
'struth. I often run the iTF double header (hey, 80 Merits in 50 minutes for incarnated toons!). And as we're about to get to Battle Maiden, I tell my team:
To avoid the Blue Patches of Death, CLICK MOVE CLICK MOVE CLICK MOVE. Don't queue up the next power.
And the team usually does very well. -

Quote:That's all very racist unless they have a more diverse ethnic gangs, like a Liechtensteinian group of monarchists. They've always been run by the Petrovic family, who had a Slavic background - but the minions haven't been shown to be Eastern Europeans until now.
The devs are aiming to give them an ethic background similar to the Italian one for the family, and the Asian one for the Tsoo.
