I recently Drew this and would be honored if one of our tallented colorists found it worthy to color

a wacom is certainly a big name in tablets, but personally i wasn't sure if digital art was for me so i bought the cheapest pad on amazon, it was less than 20 quid and i still use it now, it's great.
And for some software to do you artz digitally, i can't mention GIMP enough
It's very similar to photoshop in most aspects with the bonus that it's completely free. http://www.gimp.org/ Then you can scan in your drawings, or draw them digitally and do what you like to them without fear of ruining the original.
Just some info if art sparks your interest, and as DD says, practice, practice, practice. You'll be amazed how quickly you start improving. gl with it mate
I am kind of a Jack of all trades Master of none type of deal.
Any way thanks for the advise on the Tablet as I'd like to have something. I actually did buy a used waccom about the time I got Poser, but sadly it broke after a year it has a short or something.
Lastly I am very encouraged by the remarks here especially by those that are clearly WAY better then me. -

Perhaps you would like someone, or several orther artists to maybe help you finish a drawing or parts of it, or have it coloured? Throw it in this thread and I'm sure someone will reply at some point .

No, no one's paying you to play the game. A service has just changed distribution methods and now you spend less on that particular service. Even if that saved revenue isn't countered by your increased spending on other new things in the market and you keep more money in your pocket, the same result occurs when you just budget your money better.
Basically, you were just spending a ridiculous amount before...too much, in fact. Anything you're saving now most likely just counters that overspending.
but points stipend or not I still don't feel I can justify 500points for a single non combat pet. -

I get the point of "if you don't like the price then don't buy it.", but my point was bigger then that. My point was that rather then basing price on how much time it took to make it should be more based on how much you get. I see it like this a costume set costs 400 points and you get 40pieces or more the dog is 500point and I get 1 item.
I want the dog, just not for 500 points. So comments about not liking certain costume sets but buying the dog cause they do like it have no baring in my mind simply cause this isn't a "I didn't buy the item cause I didn't like it" it has to do with price point.
Yes I do get a stipend of points but I am not going to spend 500 of my 520 points on something that has one item.

so that dog pet is friggin' cute (and would work with a few of my characters nicely) but 500 pts for a single non-combat pet? That is really steep I mean costume sets are 400pts ($5.00) so that means a single non combat pet (as cute as he is) is about $6.00. That seems a bit off kilter to me. i get that alot of work may have gone in to him, but that is just too much for a single pet. I mean maybe if it came with the german shepard head that could be used as costume piece, a bark emote for toon and pet commands to make him do tricks then it might be worth it but yea ...not just the pet alone.
P.S. before any one rags on my spelling yes i totally realized after I hit post that I spelled lower wrong and typoed. I blame being awake for 30 some hrs -

Using the old box set codes should be fine, as long as you don't use 2 codes from the same edition on an account. They don't stack so you can't get 60 days free time by using 2 CoV codes.
Now some of the perks from the old editions don't apply anymore. I don't think you get the 2 extra character slots like you used to get with the old Going Rogue Edition, and I don't think you can get the free booster pack from the Architect Edition because boosters don't exist anymore. But you should still get the in game perks from the collectors editions.
And I believe using those codes on a Free account is an automatic upgrade to Premium once the free 30 days expires. -

And personally I find the companies continued refusal to sell some things to be proof that they aren't solely motivated by making money. If their only concern was nickel and diming their customers things like this would already be on the market.
thing is while I get the explanation given, I have no idea how old that intel is and if things, even the reason why its not for sale may have changed or if that is completely accurate.
Also I have a propensity for being kind of a dick when I want to be, and if I was told by a dev "We can't sell the DVD item pack in game items on the store cause some one in corporate, doesn't want to allow it." I'd be more then happy to locate the company Info get a petition send it directly to corporate and bug them a little, maybe they can't question there bosses motives, but I can. :P
Any way then what I'd like to know and maybe I will have to contact a dev directly, is if I do buy a DVD edition of CoV second hand brand new still in the box from some one on Ebay that using said serial code will be okay, I'd hate to get in trouble or to not be able tou use the serial code with the new system in place since my major motivation would be the in game items. -
well I'd like to see a dev post as to why not. cause honestly at this point they loosing out on an opportunity to make money, they have given away DVD edition prize packs for free why not sell them and make some money? Cause I just looked on Ebay and i can get it for about $5-$10 + $5 s&h new so really they could offer it at $5 for in game items only and come out on top since there is no S&H

I had put in the is request on the costumes thread but here is probably more appropriate:
I would love to see the CoH/CoV DVD edition items put up on the paragon market. this way those of us that want those items aren't stuck trying to find an unused serial code on ebay and paying more then is needed.
I know some one might be thinking "if you wanted those items back when they came out why didn't you get the DVD editions?" and quite simply my computer at the time Did not have a DVD rom drive and i couldn't afford a standard and DVD edition. So i would now like the option to the in game items in the online market. -
I have next to nothing to my name, so I can't pay for any art work (as much as I'd love to), so i am asking/begging/pleading/hoping some one can/will draw one or more of my Blue side people here below. I was REALLY hoping for a group picture, but I know that is ask for WAY too much with out payment. So, if any one would be so kind as to do 1 or 2 that would be awesome. I will also understand if no one does one, time is money after all and I don't have any.

I was actually going to also purchase some extra points to augment the ones I would get from my subscription, but since I never got the ones from my subscription, I have been holding off spending any more money on COH.
I am pretty sure that I am not the only one who has delayed further purchases because of this issue.
It would be nice if you did a "Baker's Dozen" kind of service perk to reward those who were inconvenienced by this bug. It is growing more and more annoying by the day.
