If you don't like AE, don't play in it.

Basically all your suggestions are "put a damper on lots of valid enjoyment of the system because a couple people abuse it".

Instead, I prefer the current method of punishment for those who DO actually abuse it. What if I have a couple days to blow and just want to run missions there? Suddenly I can't run more than a couple, and wanted to finish someone's arc? No thank you. That's not a solution, that's a big problem.

AE doesn't take away from the game. It might change your experience of the game because of annoying farmers, but frankly, go to another zone, get a team of your supergroup friends, and run other things elsewhere. "Problems" solved.

So yup, this isn't just a rant, it's an AE Farms R Bad, MMKAY? thread, and should be treated as such. You want to tell the devs how to run their business? Maybe you should email them and get on their production staff and then see how that sounds.

Yeah, I'm kinda tired of just trying to take screenshots of mine. I've had to do that for a couple of my groups, and it's annoying as heck. Roster export = good.

Right, what I said was:

"Using a 'propel-like' power".

Propel is a client-sided animation. The computer on YOUR end of the game produces a random image based on the power's instructions, from a list of allowable items. Everyone sees something different, however the power's EFFECT is the same - damage, knockback.

If they were to implement a "propel-like" power which she could use, to acquire a random ship, sunken car, buoy, etc - and throw it at us, that'd be about what the engine COULD do.

Anything beyond that - like taking an *existing* ship and having her 'crush' it - is impossible given the game's limitations. No, it's not 'just a little animation change', it's the basic engine that the game relies upon for *every single interaction*. So, altering that - not gonna happen for a while. It may be in the works to have such things, given how many people are now on their payroll - but I'm not going to hold my breath.

I would however say that having a "lusca tentacle attack" that does what I describe above, would be awesome.

Jeez.

And that's why I wish that the community we have here, able and willing to chime in about how much they stand together on an issue such as this, could be there for people like your friend. It's miserable and pathetic that people still treat others like that.

Add: search. Try google search if you're not able to find things in this engine. And, likely, some of the threads the active posters are thinking of may be gone due to forum purging. However, when we say it's not a new idea? Generally, it means it's been talked to death by others already. Don't take it as a personal attack. Just because we've seen it before.

Didn't we just have this discussion in another thread? While it'd be nice to have her doing so, they would only be animations and not actually striking anything in the game, because of the limitations on the engine.

We don't have interactive items, but if she could be made to have a "propel-like" power, she could 'summon' a boat, and perform the animation of picking it up, hurling it - that would probably be about as close as the current engine would do, and I think it'd be awesome that way too.

The pack will show up as items in their correct location. Which one did you choose? There are basically costume options for both, and a power that differs from one to another. The power will be located in your Powers area per character, and the costume options are available at start. It won't make any other differences.

And you did UPGRADE your old account, right? If you ADDED a new code into your NC master account, you may now have two game accounts. If you put it into your old one, with your old login info for that account it will be there.

And, it often takes a bit for the boosters to show up.

If you don't get the actual box with disks, be aware that it'll take a while to download and get applied on your hard drive. Heck even now I think the Architect edition has at least one patch to be downloaded after install.

But it's going to give you full access to both Hero and Villain creation.

I think if you're going to be home, that's a perfect time to both bond and let the pet acclimate to the area. Plus it's also good if the animal isn't "right", you'll know in that time.

We cannot lose our enhancements once they're slotted, if we're defeated. Doesn't "loot" kind of work that way in other games? Where you are killed and other people can scrounge for what you had "on" you?

In that regard, we have no loot. Whatsoever.

We do get "drops" - but everyone gets a chance at them, they can't be ninja'd away from people who 'deserve' them, they can't be stolen off your character.
