Already went and did some dusting and it still can lock up after about 3 hours. This considering the side panel is completely off of the tower. Granted, when it's sitting there doing nothing the fan seemed to run all of the time and now it doesn't. It only really kicks in when I play CoH, but that has always been the case.
With limited power supply options at least getting a graphics card with a fan would also help, correct? Current card doesn't have one, and I can get a newer one that does. Probably would hardly touch my game settings to be honest, so I don't think the higher power card would be much of an issue. Looks like going to a higher power supply beyond my current limitations would be easier done with a new PC if I start going, a new this, and a new that... -
Having played around with the diff setting a little. Normal SOed characters are vastly going to be sticking to what kind of setting were before. I have tried to push how far some of my builds could go only to find me going back to more typical standards fairly quickly and all the more so against certain mobs. If I pump up diff to abnormal levels, I do it either high for +level number, or high in "x" teammates. Even something basic like +2 x4 makes me go, "I'm gonna need IOs for that."

Only when solo. Crap happens and sometimes it's nice to be able to know there is simply no way you can run out of end. Yes, it needs to be reworked, but it's not the worst power in the game. Compare Vigilance to something like Team Teleport which really stands out because even if you can think of the number of times you would want to use it, a vet power pretty much covers the most basic one.

I find trying to craft a common IO with common salvage that for some reason is going for 50K on the market as annoying so I avoid it like the plague. Yes, I can do missions to where I get the proper salvage, but then I could have just bought an SO and been done with it. Don't get me started about needing that common salvage for 10 IOs...

I think 1B is what I would consider a lot. It's a nice easy compact number that holds a ton of value. 100mil is really far too easy for somebody with decent market skills. I would say that could be done by level 35 if the character was made now and that's being kind. Once you get the first 100M, 1B really isn't that far away.

XPS/Dimension 200/5150C. It's a slim case as well so normal sized ones won't work. I believe I have a mere 220w/250w power supply. I've had zero luck on Dell's web site and initial Google search didn't offer much hope either. I would love anything even in the 350w range, but again, initial research got me nothing.
Power supply is being upgraded in vast part due to how much CoH seems to push my system now and looking at upgrading my graphics card. While CoH used to run fine for long periods of time, it currently locks up after around 3 hours without fault. I'm guessing the little tweak here and there with graphics in CoH has slowly caught up with my system. Large teams with graphic intensive sets do a number on my PC and Cimorea always gives me issues and the ITF gives me consistent choppy lag for every single one I have been on. -
- Hot Feet is the number one source of damage for Fire. Period.
- No ST hold either.
- Slotting for Immobilize is just a huge no no for me. No damage procs in either powers.
- Smoke can easily be skipped. Yes, there are fans of it. Whatever.
- Fulcrum has four recharge in it.
- Fireball is painfully under slotted.
- Air Sup. and no Fire Blast?
- Consume needs to hit and has no acc.
- Seriously, no Hasten?
EDIT:
- No Siphon Speed. Just, ugh. -
Played vastly on one of the big two servers for population and heard multiple times about people not finding teams. I've never really waited overly long for one even if I got on a team that was lower level than me.
Worst team was the PuG Posi TF(I can see your shocked faces already ) Lead was a 3 month vet who had a bad build, but had numerous set bonuses on a level 17, was rude, and told people it would take 1-2 hours yet we were doing the non-stealthed version. Four hours later, we finished. I fear how it would have gone if TFs hadn't been reworked to be so easy now. (insert TFs are boring as hell now rant here)
Loved seeing a +3 Croatoa mission and having my level 23 tank handle it when we added in more damage. Hated the lead leaving and sticking me with lead on a +3 Croatoa mission that didn't go so smoothly in vast part due to end drain. -

I heard everybody and their mother say it was lacking damage and yet it seems like everyone of those people are still playing their DPs and plan on rolling another. It's the utilities and the ability to have interesting IO slotting that save it. The "I shoot all over the place even away from the mob" animation just plain looks horrible, but I'm all over what I would guess would be Swap Ammo. It's the one where the guns get flipped in the air.

Absolutely smoked any Cysts the teams I have been on this week.

Scrappers talk smack all the time. . While either work extremely well(SG mate got a Spines/regen to 50), I think RttC in /wp fits Spines better than what /regen does.
-
I'm just not sure what the difference between a Ninjitsu scrapper and a Stalker that goes blue side. It's kind of like giving defenders Thermal/fire after you can make a blue side corr.
-
I like the idea of damage procs to be honest. The damage it does is based on DoT damage, and low damage at that. I just would rather put procs in there instead. All the more so if your secondary offers -res since -res will boost the damage of a proc, but +dmg won't.

Odd. Tried to post a cleaned up version of the build and it's all messed up.
Ah, new version changed my settings.

I think it's closer to 1 mil. Good tip on the Vanguard Base. I have been mostly putting bids on level 50 recipies and then selling them at stores. It doesn't take lone before I can start crafting my preferred level 50 recipes to sell and it no time I have more than enough to level up through level 50.
-
Outside of needing missions to unlock the stores, I find reslotting SOs to be very easy. It takes what, all of 5 minutes? Crafting and slotting IOs takes much longer. I think I've reslotted a character for all slotting of SOs faster than I have slotting a character with just one set of even common IOs. Don't get me started on researching frankenslotting and IO sets. At this point more and more of my characters don't care about influ/imfamy so I'll gladly "waste" it just subbing in SOs and then work IOs when I feel like it. Somebody mentioned how slotting of a character for normal enhancements cost around 20 million. I can cake walk that before I need to buy an SO and that's without mules.
I will say I really do tend to slot in common 35s into my builds and generally work on IOed builds for DXP weekends. I vastly do this in part due to altism. If I was playing a build straight 1-50, then I'm likely just slotting SOs 22-47. -
When I have checked, 100 million for a base was pretty easy to get. I think my alt base on Freedom that some of my game friends took over would at least get that. The main base will never be for sale, but yeah, that would sell for A LOT if I wanted to.
-
MMs can get an AoE Immob in their epics so they only really need one corr for Fulcrum. I'm pretty much taking alpha strike with my MM anyway so protecting my pets really isn't that big of an issue. All the more so when they are Bots anyway.
-
Triage Beacon will be good for AV fights and any mission where you tend to be in the same spot for some time, ie "Stop 30 Fir Blog." I think it works better on my MM not only because I have all of my pets to take care of, but because you can't throw much of anything and not hit a EB/AV redside.
EDIT: I'll add any mission that has known ambushes(Lady Jane) will be good for Triage Beacon as well. -
