Quick rule of thumb (with all the caveats that are associated with rules of thumb): If you think it might be too offensive, it probably is. -

Don't really care for the iTrial (or any of them, actually) nor the darkity darky dark power sets, but I'll try the new arcs with my non-incarnated (sp?) lvl 50 fire/fire/fire blaster.

Sony wants games that are playable on the PS3 (like that above-mentionned super-powered MMO) to be cross-played on the Vita.
Why would Sony hire Paragon Studios to develop a game when they already have one ?
Why would Paragon Studios take the time and effort to develop a new game, based on a new (proprietary, no doubt) technology they know nothing about, to be played on a platform owned by a company that has one of their own games as a direct rival of Paragon Studios' main product?

These 2 methods may or may not work with the new launcher, can't check atm
1) used to be a "safe mode" check from the login screen.
2) used to be an external program that could be used to tweak (was it called "tweakcoh" ?) registry settings used by the game, including screensize IIRC. -

Since I was playing low-level content (trying out the new villainside intro arcs) and solo, I did not notice how many other players were in the same zone as me, but I did see a few.
Protector server does have the reputation of having a larger-than-usual population of soloers, but since it is my favorite playstyle, I don't mind. -
You might want to look at this post from a couple of years back, the info is still valid AFAIK.

Haven't booked hotel yet as I want to hear who is going and how long people are planning to stay. I could stay an extra night Sunday and drive back to L.A. on Monday or check out and drive back on Sunday.
$600 for the plane fare, a couple of hundreds (at least) for the hotel and meals, plus the car rental... all that for 1 day of events ? Can't justify the expense.

If you're a Melee type, Street Justice and Titan Weapons are a hoot; if you're not, Time Manipulation or Beam Rifle might be your thang. -
