You have to enable chat logging in your options if you want to make use of it... then use the command "/copychat <tabname>" to copy your chat to the Windows Clipboard. (replace "<tabname>" with the name of a chat-window tab you'd like to save, like "Chat" for instance.)

Then you run Tao's log cleaner, paste your text into the window, and use the various options to filter out the stuff you don't want, like color codes, tells, etc. (note: you UN-check the checkboxes, then click "Apply", to actually do the filtering.) You can also remove messages from unwanted channels, or people you don't like. It does all of this non-destructively, so you can "undo" the changes by re-checking the checkboxes and hitting "Apply". You can also go into the main text window and edit the text directly.

Once you're happy with it all, you just save it, and you're done!

    Hope that helped.
So it's to make chat logs more readable?
  3. pm me your global and i'll send you a little inf

They haven't specifically said that emails from others were excluded, but the language they use specifies email sent from yourself

As far as I can tell, I was not asking to be sent all over the Isles, nor complaining, but asking a question about when the change occurred. ymmv
  7. Perhaps its the edge of the part of the map that is loaded into RAM?
  8. It used to go Sharkhead, Cap au Diable, Sharkhead, Sharkhead, Cap au Diable, Sharkhead.

Now it goes Sharkhead, Sharkhead, Sharkhead, Sharkhead, Cap au Diable, Sharkhead

Did this happen when it was made available Silver Mantis in Sharkhead?
Is the one from the mission computer different?

I suspect that the devs don't handle network issues for NCSoft's NA datacenter.

  11. EM's viable for a lot of things. But it's not a very brutish set. It's a lot more stalkerish.

It doesn't do as good of a job as other sets when it comes to handling aggro. It is lacking in both the multiple target damage and multiple target damage mitigation departments compared to other sets. Consequently, many other brute primaries will allow you to more successfully confront large spawns.
Also, there are other brute primaries that out perform EM when it comes to single target damage.
I suspect that the only place it still really shines is in single target damage mitigation. It can easily stack up a mag 9 stun on a single target.

So if you want to solo small to mid sized spawns, then its a great fit.

    Yes, please.

Was this kept hush-hush to run a sting on RMTers, or what?

Why wouldn't we be informed of the limit ahead of time?
  15. I received an offer to replace the salvage I lost. Not back to email but to be placed on a toon.
  16. One small sentence in the patch notes would have prevented the whole kerfuffle.
  17. The Beast Beneath the Mountain, Virgil Tarikoss
Been done in as little as 15 minutes, usually closer to an hour. All depending on team and experience and luck of the map

Pirates of the Sky, Silver Mantis
About an hour or so possibly up to 2 hours I suppose.

In my case, the emails themselves are also gone
  19. A heads up about the time limit would have been a nicer way to handle this.

I am all for an inf sink, but this isn't exactly what I had in mind. I envisioned more of a voluntary type thing.

Thanks for the warning after the fact.
