Making permanent detrimental changes in an MMO is risky. That is why it surprised me when WoW decided to do it in their next expansion. It cuts the new comers out of an experience, the removal of the Calvin Scott TF is a good example. -

I have been thinking on this for a while now. I have decided to only respec as I play them, rather than just doing them all in one sweep.
As I said on my SG boards, I love the idea of having a self rez on all of my scrappers who can get one. There are a bunch of powers I can take just to hold Procs too, So I am excited even though I don't get more slots. -

The devs have created some AWESOME systems over the years, but they do have the habit of chasing the next shiny. The next shiny in this case is the endgame and Incarnates, two things I greatly wish for and support them in doing. Yeah, I have to agree also. At onetime I assumed this was because of money and man power (at the time I was assuming I was right), now I think it is just taking a back seat because any AT can be played on any side.
It still needs to happen though, not just within same AT types (ex. Scrappers and brutes). People really want a MA secondary for blasters, and I personally think it fits. Nin fits better for scrapper concepts for me (I just don't enjoy the stalker play style). I don't want the devs to forget about proliferation, and I still want Purple IOs for Defense, and Damage Resistance sets (or scrapper secondaries if you will).
While I LOVE the direction the Devs are going in (I loved the alpha slot in GR testing), there are things I don't want forgotten. -
How long have scrappers wanted Energy Melee or Super strength?
Really, I just want to see Ninitsu ported to scrappers.
I agree, it is time for more proliferation. I will also admit it made me sad to see there isn't a new Eviscerate animation.

Really if some one is kicking people from a team for using an emote, I don't want to be on their team. I may report them, and I would sure spend some time ridiculing them in public, and to the whole of my G-friends List. I would also surly post the story on the boards. -

I said a long time ago that I would pay for new dance emotes, and I did so. If this pack were all sports emotes, I would never have purchased it.
With that, the disco dance reinforces that I will NEVER play a female toon. -
I just tried again to purchase it, and it told me to try again tomorrow, or to go see one of their retailers.

If you check the first few pages of the last thread, you will see that I am none too happy about this pack. I am annoyed, I am just not annoyed with the Devs
To top it off, I was going to buy it any way, and the dang store will not let me. -

You know, between the last discussion thread and this one, I'm really surprised Black Pebble hasn't come out to give us an indication of their rationale. He's been good for that on other things.
The suits who make the rules may not be fellow gamers, and have no clue as to what a gamer really wants. They are the ones who make the rules in the end though. :/
I will admit I am still undecided. I have a few extra dollars this week, and I have been wanting new dance emotes for years. I DO think there should have been a costume piece in there though. -
I have the wedding pack. The formal Tux sleeves go great with the baron jacket if you don't want the massive rolled sleeves that came with that coat.
I have some extra money, so I am getting the party pack today also. I will post if it is worth it or not, after I have played with it. -

If you reorganize, you also need to review which items can't be used with other items. Warrior belt I am looking at you. The Samurai belt (that has armor on it and flares) can be used with the tight option, but the warrior belt can't.

I don't play female toons at all. I am male, and I like the RP immersion of this game. I just can't get that with a female character.
Also, I tend to spend all of my time with camera angles, and walking when I attempt to make a female character.
My wife is the same way, when she does play, she only plays female characters.
