As I have had other things occupying my time, I haven't kept up on all the information. Is it not possible to team up to open the Alpha slot? Or is that just an example people are using?

Also, as others have noted, this whole process seems fairly time intensive. Unlock the alpha, do X number of tfs/stuff to gather up garbage, craft garbage, then do uber tf. I have 33 (I think ) 50's and a couple more in the 40's I'm currently working on. I suspect it'll take me 1.5-2 weeks a toon to get to the point of being able to do the uber tf. I dunno how well that's gonna work out.

Plus there is the whole deal of having to respec every toon....

Hell, I haven't even run alignment/morality missions on half of my toons.

Eh. I imagine that most of you, as did I, put more end-game content was desirable when you filled out that questionnaire way back in the day. I guess this comes in under, "Be careful what you wish for..".

As per usual, Voodoo was only half right.

My thoughts on the matter:

I now require everyone to address me as "Your Majesty".

However, as an act of supreme generosity, all but Voodoo are exempt from having to do this.

It appears that it was a good thing that I didn't make this PvP toon a huge, shirtless male. Otherwise Voodoo would have been following following me around instead of attacking the enemy.

Well, if that's how you are going to start it, it needs more Desu! Desu! and Meow! Meow! Meow!. Not to mention at least one, "It's an ambush!"


You will also need to put in the part about a rez being needed after the last phrase.

I suspect he nuked it when he started working with the titan network. IIRC his site had his planner, a forum, and access into irc.

Masque- Since I'm going to be foolish enough to run a Dom, that means I'm red side in the current scenario. Would it be permissible for me to run a Dom up to 20 gold side and turn blue(I would use a 2nd build for PvP)? I ask this because I don't know about the rest of you kids, but I've always found it much easier to get the accolades blue side than red. (i.e. Atlas Med., TFC, Portal Jockey, FPR)


Also, I definitely need a build for this (mind/fire) as the last Dom I played was before the Dom changes, was for PvE, and IMHO, stunk. It was an iso toon that once I hit 50, I ran from as if it were about to explode.

Well, that is one explanation for the lessening of the server population, but those people usually come back...usually.....


Though I have heard that Hamster does have access to a pig farm.

Which is essentially what some are doing.

I've found that it takes me between 1.5-2.5 hrs to get an a-merit. Depends on whether I'm dawdling at the market between missions and how many escort tip missions drop.

As far as how I'm using them. Eh, it's probably not the most financially correct method, but so far I've been using them to get recipes like Numina heal and LotG defense that sit in the 25-30M range on the market. I need a ton of these and they're only 1 a-merit each.

Because it's boring? At that point you might as well hop into an AE building and run it to 50.

Personally, I have a couple of toons that I have been grinding a-merits on. One blue (scrapper) and one red (brute). Yes, I know with the email system in place it's not necessary but doing things this way at least adds a little variety. I tend to run the scrapper more because I find the villain morality mission more annoying than the blue one.

As far as the 50/20 situation, I suspect the devs will eventually regret putting that carrot out there. Not so much that you can convert reward merits into a-merits but that you can essentially convert 50 reward merits into 100 reward merits as far as random rolls are concerned.
