Personally mine uses the [$name] format, and I like to add a colon and an extra space at the end when I'm binding so that when I talk in the channel it comes out as
SunGryphon: [$name]: my message
instead of
SunGryphon: [$name]my message

Ok, For the life of me I've tried to make it work... but to no avail like I've seen others have.
I have /bind <key> "beginchat /send "channel here" ($level, $name, $archetype)"
The problem I have is it comes out when I type it starts at the /. Not at the end of the quote, but the begining. What gives??

Ok, so I bit with the new alt thing and made a Rad/MM blaster, in Atlas none the less. I was going for the yellow/orange mobs to level faster... when outta no where comes this blast to the mob I was working on. I look and it's a lvl 14 blasting my mobs.
*le sigh*
I tell him to not do that.

Me: 1, you don't get any xp from it and 2 you are stopping me from getting any xp.
Him: so? I like Atlas.
Me: go to Steel or somewhere else.
Him: I'm capped on my trial and like atlas.
So, I run away and try blasting another mob while he's typing.
Then again "Blam!!"

The implied mechanism is the change from hero to villain or villain to hero is done in Praetoria. After you are fully heroic or villainous, you can only go the that side.
So a Villain who becomes a hero will be able to visit Atlas Park, but would not be able to visit Mercy Island unless they became villainous again.
I may be off the mark, but that seems to be how it will be set up from what I have read and seen. -

We had on on Triumph as well. He was a Broot and was around for... I think almost a month. Got badges, was on teams and all. Then GW came into atlas right under the statue, called him out, blasted him and everyone around him then took his seared flesh back to the Rogue Isles. I wasn't on at the time GW was on, but people told me about it.
