Welcome back to the game Sylvanus.
As someone who also came back to the game from an extended break I can whole heartedly recommend the following resources:
- Obviously check out the official forums (which you seem to have found without problem )
- The City of Heroes Facebook page will also help you keep up to date on everything the Paragon team is working on and highlights Community content as well.
- You can also follow us on Twitter
- Catch up with us on Ustream every week for our Community Coffee talk, or when we have unplanned downtimes, and once a month for an "official" Dev Chat.
- The Paragon Wiki is a great Community run resource that even the Paragon team uses quite frequently.
- Check out the Titan Network for a ton of great resources, character builders, badge trackers, etc...
And there are a ton more great resources out there including streaming internet radio, podcasts, and other Community groups. All you have to do is look for them .
Welcome back to the City and may your return be an extended one.

Quote:Thank you. My robot overlords would be most displeased with that oversight.Greetings, Zwillinger 2113 (your futureselves say hello). It looks as though this post appeared on the 2011 boards because of a temporal leak. I suggest you check your time-filter settings on your browser before the chrono-mods notice and wipe out it out with an alternate timeline.
Did I say overlords?
I mean protectors. -
With CoH 7 we are proud to announce we will be introducing full Neural Integration. No longer will you be encumbered by the burden of a mouse, keyboard or even a computer at all. With the purchase of the Brainjack Booster Pack you can beam the CoH experience straight into your frontal lobe.
Also, after 2 centuries of service, Matt "Positron" Miller has officially transitioned from the position of Lead Designer to Lead Brain-in-a-Jar. New studio lead Nemesis was quoted as saying, "The transition to disembodied brains for the entire Paragon Studios team is now complete! This was my ACTUAL PLOT all along!"
All hail Lord Nemesis -
Thanks for sharing these Fury! They look great!

I find the sight of myself mid-talking disturbing...

Quote:You forgot the mustache twirling. Now that's simply just not helpful. The devs have at least shown some restraint and not rubbed their hands/stroked their goatees in the manner of stage villains whenever questioned about the secret existence of the much-rumored CoH2.
Honestly, it flatters us that the Community is so passionate about what we may or may not be working on. To know that you all care so much gives us motivation and more reason to continue to make CoH the best Super Hero MMO out there. -

Hi Redman,
We actually already host a weekly Live Coffee Talk every Wednesday (time varies based on my schedule) in addition to our monthly Official Developer Ustream.
Be sure to tune in. -

Quote:I'll see what I can do to accommodate...Maybe as part of your "decent into insanity" you could cosplay as various player characters and jump around as if you're a character running around in the game so that we can pretend the UStream screen is the game's screen. This might help some people cope with the withdrawal symptoms.

Orrr....
You could join us on Ustream and watch my gradual spiral into lunacy after 6 hours of Ustreaming - http://www.ustream.tv/channel/paragon-studios

So I managed to make it into the office a bit earlier today, so we may be bringing Ustream online at 9:00 AM PDT instead of 10:00 AM PDT. Stay tuned Daniel Boone.

Pretty sure what I don't want to hear is:
"Maintenance has to be extended, you can run Ustream until 10:00 PM right?"

Hey Dave,
Signing up allows you to participate in the chat, found in the interface to the right of the video feed. And if you ask anyone who normally participates in the Ustreams we frequently converse with the chat box, making anyone who watches a recording think we're having one sided conversations. -
Would we like to do it? I can't think of anyone who would say "no" to making the game available on a mobile/tablet OS.
Resources, technical limitations, time frame? A Community Manager knows not these things.
