Ok the reason I ask...is I kept getting someoen telling me you had to be teleported on t he other side of some wall or soemthing...I had no clue
thanks
[/ QUOTE ]
There used to be a hole in the geometry that allowed you to sneak behind the wall, but it's been long since fixed. Your 'friends' were taking you for a ride. =D
Here's a funny bit of info, my ss/elec brute kills faster then any 50 I have including the fire/psi dom-fire/rad trollr-sd/ss & fire/mace tank (& some others), but my fire/dark corr by far gets more purples & rare salvage drops in Cim.
I just tried the wall earlier for the first time in many months and got a Hecatomb (sp) after selling 3 other purps it already had.
Anyway, this reminded me of it. ;] -
I'm currently halfway through celebrating Canada day, and when I'm done I'll hit the frigde and celebrate again.

Maybe they just want time to enjoy their families and the weekend.

losers.
Actually I browsed Posi's blog while bored a week ago, and the game and it's extensions are the absolute last thing of interest on the off days. -

Ace let me know if it is worth it in IMax... not sure if I wanted to drive an hour for it yet or not...
[/ QUOTE ]
I think it is, the reviews had me wondering how much we'd enjoy it, but it was good with some pretty funny segments that had our packed theater rolling.
With the complexities of all the moving parts in the big action scenes the huge screen with digital feed and thumping sound was the way to go. -

oh an by the way i always write bad post lolol i dont feel like editing them.

Heh
Going to see Transformers in imax right now, get out and enjoy the day. -

I seriously challenge all the veterans out there who think they know everything to pull their heads out of their [censored] and start looking for ways to improve their gameplay.
[/ QUOTE ]
It's funny because we've been on a couple itf runs recently with some very good vets, and they turned out horribly, real head scratchers.
[ QUOTE ]
Sounds like someone is jealous that they're left out.

I don't think black cares about hami raids anymore after 4-5 hundred back in the day, he's just making a statement about how epic & fun the old raids were with 200+ in the bowl (lagerific) & a lot wearing specific raid colors for their AT.
It was a lot of fun & machine like, & yes black got the kill on the first successful raid feb 05.
ps, you have to take blacks post's w/ a grain of salt. ;] -
Where is this "Screenshots & Fanart" section, and is the contest similar to the avatar wars, where the least amount of effort/skill win? ;]

Unfortunately I've actually lost the use of one hand due to a pretty horrific insect bite

qr- Here's my f/m's last build on paper (from march I think) to give you some ideas if you're interested. A leveling build I don't have handy, it's somewhere on a h/d, but generally if you have team support like a friend w/ an emp/kin whatever, you can manage w/ hf's fs & ba almost up through 20.
If you have more questions ask away, there are plenty of folks experienced w/ these two sets to offer feedback. =]

quicksand is up all the time basiclly (unless i read it wrong..have to go look again....)
[/ QUOTE ]
It has a very quick recharge. -
[ QUOTE ]
You get an extra tick or two out of Burn depending how well the slow is slotted up for in Quicksand. If you max slot Quicksand for slow, then you can almost get your full Burn damage off (targets at the edge will most likely escape with just getting hit with a couple of ticks).
[/ QUOTE ]
I tried six slotting it with slows for the heck of it on test months back, it does work, but I can't see taking that set just to set up burn, especially when you get several tics on a mob as is. -
The best thing for the OP is to try it on test and see if they like it.
If you do take and you find you're using it every time it recharges, there might be something missing from your build. ;]
I've made mpov on rise of the sphincter clear over the years, I hate it, but that's only my opinion. =T -
You know I bet some kind of Nemesis system will be in the works for i17 or the expansion. That's the one large feature a competitor will have over this game, now that customizable powers are in the works.
The latter was never supposed to happen, so I wouldn't count it out. -
You have to lose before it works. I would never suggest taking it in place of something that could be used all the time.
Some people like it, I just done care for my characters dying if at all avoidable. -
I think a reasonable case could be made to reduce h/c's max targets to 5 and then change k/b to k/d. That would open the possibility to reformulate the end ratio, since it would be a weaker power.
But as Kruunch mentioned above me I don't think SS is on Castle's worksheet for the near future, after spending the end of 07 and most of 08 on melee rebalancing. -
I'd say pencil me and my wife in, on pretty much whatever a team could need between us. The last most a few weeks back was a lot of fun. =P
If you can get Meph on his ice troler your odds of success will increase exponentially. ;] -
Meant slots generally, but in a post I think is now deleted where he was replying to the GR expansion he said something "nifty" was being worked on in that vein. Very few picked up on his post that day and now I can't find it. Ah well.
And Kruunch, I don't have anything in front of me, but FS quicker cast and slightly higher damage along w/ rage are better then tremor, add k/d to h/c and ss would make a run at Ice for tanker control set.
I'd love it changed to k/d, I'm leary of Castle coming into the area to take a look at something (though grateful on behalf of macers). -
Which is an indication that if you've felt over the years that the game has had unrealized potential, and among the disgruntled, that hints and teasers of grand things coming, were just vehicles meant to string your support along.
Then welcome to politics. -
I almost think changing the k/b to k/d would make the set overpowered, with two very good melee damage mitigation aoe's.
I would still use it as is if I could fit it in, but it ends up being that or taunt on most of my builds.
If the nifty non-leveling/post-50 character expansion Castle hinted at includes choosing more powers after the current lvl cap, I would take h/c in it's current state, it's one of the most fun tanker powers.
