Errr? Resist teleport? To me, a 50% resist to teleport means you only teleport half way there - or maybe only half of you teleports all the way there. If it makes teleport miss more then it is a defense or possible a magnitude buff.

Ah ha! To see that you need QuickTime 7. Upgrading just gave me the latest version of QuickTime 6. Let me upgrade more and try again.... (hmmm, iTunes included?)
Yep, that did it! Much much much nicer than watching via YouTube! -
I can't get it to play, either. Just updated my Quicktime and still no go. The sound plays but no video. Other movies on the site play fine. The YouTube works, too.
Fun vid! You really know your emotes!! -

The only thing that has been revealed so far is that one of the first rewards is a trechcoat costume piece.
[/ QUOTE ]
Actually, that's the PLANNED reward if I remember right. Plans may change. -
I can't see a cat costume and avoid thinking of HypeWon.
(The Hype Series is great fun, btw! Seriously impressive example of demo edits, too.) -
You know what you might do - start a new character, hit random, change colors to black and gold, hit random again, black & gold again, repeat until you find something you like.

I suppose, Zloth, that there should be extra bonus points for Awry and Gil as well?
[/ QUOTE ]
Ssshhh! Those are hidden bonus points! As is inclusion of a giant space platform. -
Lowering the FPS will make the demo go faster, raising it slows the demo down. For instance, if you set FPS to be 1 then the playback will only show one frame for every second in the demo. If your computer can render 20 frames per second then setting FPS to 1 will make your demo run 20 times faster!
The link is broke? But I didn't touch.... oh frak. OK, fixed. Missing a " mark in a previous link. -
I updated the Demolauncher with some commands mentioned in a recent post from Poz. Honestly, though, I'm not seeing much use for the stats it gives.
If you leave the FPS blank so the game renders as fast as it can you'll get good max/min/average framerate stats. But you can also just hit the ~ key while the demo is playing and use the showfps command to display FPS as it's going.
If you do have the FPS fixed as Poz mentions, the FPS numbers seem to be bogus. I think the FPS it reports are the frames per second you are getting when the game is forced to render X frames per second in the demo. FPS once removed, if you will. However, the time can be handy. If I play through a demo at 30fps in two minutes, then turn off fancy water effects (via registry), then play through the same demo at 30fps and finish in one minute, that means water effects are a Very Big Deal to my PC. Perhaps it could be used to help decide which combination of effects works best for you?
Also note that the way demos play means the FPS you get in a demo won't be the same as in game. When playing a demo, the game doesn't have to poll the network for packets, handle mouse input, send information to the game servers, or do ragdoll physics. Demo stats should be compared to other demo stats for the same demo.
But then, I only messed with it for a bit. Maybe you folks can pull more meaning from the stats. Anyway, it's there. You can use it. Click the link in my sig then click the link to the demo launcher.
P.S. You must use the Loops option if you are going to check statistics. If you say 4 loops then you have to do 4 loops before the game will give you any statistics. If you exit early then you get no data. -

Uhhh, I think I missed a patch note??
P.S. Is this article copyrighted? -

When you find the bit of code causing this, please print it out and stomp on it for me. -
Bonus points if you can get Aurora and Cricket in the drawing!

Bad forum cartel! Bad bad bad! (Zloth sets about to finding a way to put a negative sign in front of Foo and Thors' post counts....)

Hehe, I've got a whole directory of screens shots for this kinda thing.
Just got this one last night while on a bird hunting trip in Founders' Falls. Longbow Birds
Ow
This one I don't quite follow. How did she get stuck like this? Did her heels get stuck in the concrete or something? -
Pigg files? I know noth zing! NOTH ZING!! No, really, I don't look at the things.
A list of hard to get costume parts would be good, wouldn't it? I hadn't thought of that.
Here's what my character with the Blood Widow helmet has for a costume (sans the line with sliders, which is just too long):

Hehe, when I clicked on the topic I expected to just see the word "Die" repeated over and over. Nice guide!

Pretty simple.

Pthththh! Yeah, says you!
Let me see if I have that blind pull thing right. Everyone gets well behind the foot. Puller goes up to the toe but still out of sight. Puller makes sure he is set to prompt for teleports. Somebody with Recall Friend does it on the puller, who just leaves the teleport box open. Puller jumps in the air and takes a ranged shot at Numina (*not* a DoT power, I presume? I never figured out if those extra DoTs drew agro.), then hits the accept on the teleport as soon as the power starts to activate - NOT waiting for the shot to really fire. Just one or two heroes come a'running. Yes? -
Nope, no compilation here. I'm not sure what you would do with it if you had it. There are definitely a LOT of costume options!
-
Oh ho, somebody else has been poking around!
For left/center/right - those correspond to width, height, and depth (x, z, and y).
Hmmm, I think you have legs and hips switched. Legs, by the way, can be made huge. It's pretty funny with them set to about 2.5.
Those unknowns have been unknown to me, too - some for a very long time. It looks like you might have solved one, though. Detail 1 with a Full Mask gets its own slot, interesting! I've been wondering about that one now for a couple of years. -
Majik's Guide is good for this. Though I've only used it a tad, Windows Media Encoder is looking pretty good for a FRAPS alternative.
