Actually, I can think of quite a few people who've ignored you (assuming you're Mongoose R). This, however, is not something I will discuss over the boards.

I've said it once, and I'll say it again. The boy just doesn't want to listen. It's apparent that myself and many other people have tried to talk to him, but evidently none of it has had any kind of effect.

Although I am also guilty of not having him ignored because I like to see what stupid comments he's going to come out with next. Train-wreck syndrome, I guess.

I couldn't possibly disagree more without coming off as offensive. Punch for controllers?! I don't think I even need to bother writing out a reason why this is a bad choice. If you need damage, then take air superiority. At least that way, it leads onto a travel power AND it's -fly.

Most other controllers, however, won't need it as they already have a single-target damaging attack.

Server?

1) Make sure you take Radiation Infection (if they can't hit you, they can't kill you), Lingering Radiation (if they have no powers, they can't kill you) and Enervating field (always handy)
2) In PvP, I'd take flight over jumping because in my opinion it's better to stay airborne with hover than it is to have CJ.
3) phase shift is OK-ish. I don't have it, but I've seen people who do and it seems to work quite well. For example, hit it after a blaster pops aim and build up to ruin all their fun....
4) Whirlwind is of no use to a defender.
5) Psychic mastery is nice, because you get Telekinesis..

Those of you in the habit of reading the Union boards may have noticed a thread about a rumble on the test server. From what I understand, it'll take place at 8:00pm on (slick edit)Tuesday the 20h December.

I've been hearing things from some people who play on the other server, and apparently they think they can beat us. Obviously they're wrong, and it's up to us to prove it.

If Laustin doesn't mind, I'll use the Defiant Deviants SG as our team. Simply reply to this thread with confirmation of your being there to be added to the list.

Don't do single archetype tournaments. Controller fights, for example, usually come down to whoever gets the first hit/runs out of break-frees first.

Stalk, you might think you're not being spotted but when my SG are teaming in PvP we have a little game we like to play with stalkers over teamspeak. The conversation goes a little like this.

There are no controller primaries with toggledrops in them. This is, of course, with the exception of stacking status effects.

They do! Or at least /em dance and /em drumdance do, which suggests to me that the rest of them do. You can't have anyone targetted, so hit escape before try to do one.

He's not just CM'd once, but whatever.

I know you use Impale to get a ranged critical rather than AS, because it's also an immobilize and -fly.

The discussion we're having here is whether it's easy to kill him when he's teamed with the rest of the SG, not when he's on his own. You're forgetting that we team with (arguably) some of the best PvPers on the server (but by no means all of them. If we were the best, we'd quit PvP because it would be boring).
