Which rad/energy skills for a PvP defender...
1) Make sure you take Radiation Infection (if they can't hit you, they can't kill you), Lingering Radiation (if they have no powers, they can't kill you) and Enervating field (always handy)
2) In PvP, I'd take flight over jumping because in my opinion it's better to stay airborne with hover than it is to have CJ.
3) phase shift is OK-ish. I don't have it, but I've seen people who do and it seems to work quite well. For example, hit it after a blaster pops aim and build up to ruin all their fun....
4) Whirlwind is of no use to a defender.
5) Psychic mastery is nice, because you get Telekinesis..
Okay, last questions I hope
For a level 50 Rad/Energy defender about to enter PvP (whom is going to respec!), what you would choose as must have, may like and dont need skills within the rad/energy choices.
The priority will be self sufficiency (so relying on strong attacks and and self enhancements more than team enhancements - sounds unfriendly i know lol!)
If it helps, power pools currently include concealment (stealth and invisibility), leaping, fitness, speed, and phsychic mastery.
Whiel I am posting, a few other questions incase anyone has an opinion/time to answer:
Is phase shift any good for PvP?
Is whirlwind any good in PvP?
Should I drop physchic mastery and choose something else, say medicine (to obtain "heal self" skill?
And the age old question, flight or jumping!?
Any advice really appreciated
