    Ive taken down a few AV/Heros on my bots/poison, keeping the pets far away enough from each other so they wernt all killed by aoes is the hard part, also had to take aid other as well as the Alkloid to ensure they stay alive. As long as i can keep them alive they will have the damage to take the AV down.

    However if I made it again I would go Thugs/poison. With Noxious Gas on it the Brutish pet (bruiser?) can get away with tanking the AVs.

    Thanks to all the replys.

    It appears then that over all theres nothing glaringly missing expect some of the slots could be differnt, thankfully bar stamina and the powersink slotting all the ones that have been suggested for diff enhancements have the correct amount of slots so I can play about with the enhancements in them on the fly.

    Good point, I was also thinking, due to fact ill mostly be in teams of trying to get tough in earlier, maybe swapping boxing tough with BU and LR as atm it seems a tad weak

  7. Heres my live PVP build empath. Its emp/psi so if it was rad id change the attack to nutrino bolt.

    pls note i used entropic chaos because decimations were scarce and all i really wanted from the set was the +recharge, the IOs are also available earlier so better for lower zones.

    Ive no real endurance problem pre stanima Sirens/BB i just carry a couple of end reds to make sure, easy to get hold of more in them zones what with bounty system/shop.

  11. Ok im aware Dark defenders arent exactly the bee's knee's in arena duels, im just trying to work out why so I can see if I can try and overcome it on my dark/sonic.

    Im assuming its problems are:-

    Tar Patch
    being location based it can just be run off (Maybe i could combine this with TK, pin then drop the patch).

    The Heal
    Needs to hit the target to work, now with IOs will i be able no get round this with +acc sets?( i do have aim mind tho ofc it needs to be up and cant always be relied on)

    Dark Servant
    Is he worth it? if so how should i slot him. 3 nucleous? or should i be using the tohit debuffs instead.

    Hold/fear/stuns
    i plan on taking the Petrifying gaze and Dominate for hold stacking, also taking screech for the stun, id like the fear but can only manage 3 of these 4 powers. what 3 would u reccomend?

    Lastly Epics.
    At the moment im swaying towards PSI so i can get TK (to work with tar pit if it works) dominate for hold stacking, and mind over body to stack with shadowfall, HOWEVER im also tempted by Power mastery 1. to sort any end probs with conserve 2. for PBU debuffs tho this will only affect the tohit debuff if im correct.

    Anyway a bit messy but any thoughts? I know it wont pwnz all but I hope that it will suprise a few. I will post a build up later depending on comments.

    Ok youve used fire tanks in your example and a few powers that your suprised arent taken. Not all the listed powers are needed, for example

    Acrobatics, now with IOs this power is not needed in PVE

    Healing Flames, Ok now i would NEVER have a fire tank without it if i was part of duo its plausible i wont need it if theyre say empath

    Taunt, depending on secondary this is also not always needed, yes it makes you far more effienct and definatly better at AV fights, secondarys such as Fire can if slotted properly and Guantlet is actually working hold agro pretty ok with there AoEs.

    Blazing Aura, If the tanks mainly a PVP toon its possible it doesnt have it, tho glaring holes like this really should be mentioned to the team first as it greatly hinders the role of a tank to the point you would call it a scrapper.

    Plasma sheild, what you got no plasma sheild??? [censored] you muppet lolz, ofc this ones a no brainer to pick.
  16. Personally I dont think we need anymore zones, however I do think the zones need a complete revamp. Change the rewards and objectives, remove Debt/XP/remove whiney badgers.

    Finally Merge servers PVP zone wise, at least the whole of the EU poss the yanks too. Yes you can argue you'll get uber gank teams putting off new potential PVPers...But surely your putting off far less that is already happening with empty ones.

    Oh id like it if one of the zones they thru out any story they need for the zone to exist and make it that heroes can team with vills, perhaps make it so your auto assigned to a team blues V reds or something.

    Hi guys, what with the upcoming Freespec, ive got to respec most my toons to remove there already HOs so I can Flog them at the AH. However before I do this I want to respec into something which should do decent in Arena Duels and Zonal PVP. This is the build ive come up with its not optimum i unfortunatley dont want to throw all my funds at it, however this should be affordable and let me take 10 HOs out of the original build.

    What id like to know is there any glaring holes, or Suxxy powers ive picked, would you take the epic blast instead of something else for example.

  19. Ah IOs forgot to add to my previous post that i havent as of yet got round to fiddling my build to include them. Im sure that if you incorprate them Perma DP would be poss and of gr8 benefit. Id still drop MoG yes ok good for bubblers but still situational and imo would get more milage with other choices over a greater array of toons, ymmv.
  20. Ive got a 50 BS/Regen (HRH The Edge) theres a few things that I would do different..
    1. Drop Slice and whirling sword, your main attacks should chain especially if you purchase some some HOs (acc/dams) and slot hack/disembowl/headsplit 3 acc/dam 3 rech.
    2. replace slice whirling sword with either presence pool ( a taunt and a fear for runners) or assault and tactics for +per and tohit stacking with FA
    3. Id drop MOG move hasten up and get Conserve Power instead BS/ even with regen can be end heavy especially if using tactics and FA.
    4. Swap Health for Hurdle for more unsuppressed movement.
    5. If u need extra slots take them from Fast Healing maybe put them in BU to squeeze even more To Hit chance out.
    6. Consider Heavily slotting in HOs heal/end for intergration x3 Parry also benifits nicely from HOs and your attacks truly thrive off 3 acc/dam 3 rech.

  21. iirc psydock the fact a blaster is forted will not stop it being placated. You say the fact u can pop BFs and have heal aura mean they wont kill you, well the stalkers could be popping reds both attack and kill you, run for the hills till they can placate the blaster again, and with the new stealth IOs CM aint gonna help the blaster so much anymore.
    Ofc skill factor will come into it tho if the emp or blaster stray to far away from each other the stalkers should have a good chance of winning imo.

    Hey again guys this time I need some critique on illu/ff, changing this toon to PVP is giving me nothing bar headaches

    Looking at the powersets ive decided it should have a team pvp edge as although ive no doubts it could duel some toons, I believe its sets will shine more in teams.

    Main problems Ive found so far in my testing are..

    End Usage:- some of the builds ive tried use far to much, esp on pet summoning with all bubbs up

    SI and GI:- SI and force bubb kinda dont mix well, GI seems like it could be usefull tho will peeps gather for it?

    Travel power:- Theres a number of ones that seem viable, Leaping coz i can stack CJ and Acro with dispersion, FLY with my def this seems a ideal vantage point bieng able to buff from up high, CJ + teleport tho im not to keen on it.

    Epics:- the Final thing bugging me, PB seems to good to give up PB bubbs offer some nice def to my teamates, conserve also would help me with any issues. Then theres PSI epic, will dom would give me sleep protection helping me keep my own bubbs up. Finally theres ice tho having hybernoob and PFF seems overkill imo.

    Anyway ive meshed a build together Pls if you have the time Critique it and reslove my headaches. Ty.

    Cheers shannon, If I can get hold of damres/end hami's to shove in the armours burn will prolly recieve the extra slotting, as as you say with Knockout blow, burn would mesh fairly well, aslo would be good v those that like to stay direcly in melee. I think tho am not sure that the fear will react to a burn tick like it does to a norm attack, letting them move once and out of the burn patch

    Ok coz stalk is a nOOb I looked at the toons I could steal HOs from, Only prob really is with the sheilds where i lack damres/end tho I have a abundence of dam/rang so no doubt ill be able to swap some at somepoint. This is most likely my final build only thing that may change is Burn i still want to test it a bit, tho i can imagine the extra immob prot may save me a breakfree or 2 sometime.
