Only if we get sword blast for blasters and axe control for controllers.

It takes my SS/Fire 6-7 minutes to clear and averages 1.8-2.1 million per minute. I guess softcap melee defense at the expense of recharge was not the way to go. :'(

Quote:What arcs are those? Don't think I've done them.The four arcs in Dark Astoria. Such an awesome story! All the fighting (and not fighting!) against hordes of BP - and the Fossil Shades (love those zombie smilodons and dire wolves, but those darned zombie trilobites - yikes, easily the creepiest things in the game) - and then at the end, when we're re-enacting the Last Stand in the warehouse, and just when it seems like we're about to win the day... that one little thing... oh, it's heartbreaking.
And then when it turns out it's that same one little thing that enables us to try again in the Awakening TF...
<SPOILER ALERT!!>
<SPOILER ALERT!!>
<SPOILER ALERT!!>
...and gives us exactly what we need to make it all work out. When the fog lifts and the sun shines down on Moth Cemetery... and the people in the streets look up... that's one cutscene I'll never skip!
Unmatched brilliance! No other mission/quest/whatever in any other game even comes close! -
Sounds cool. If you need any villains...BARON BLITZMAN will be happy to oblige

Hey Jay! Could you please fix the following costume bug:
As you can see. The primary colour of the "electric" top does not match with the same colour option for the head and the legs.
Interestingly enough. It doesn't match even if the "electric" pattern is selected on the legs as well.

Please fix PVP.
-
Yeah plus F2P = no incarnates.
I'd be down for SO PVP. We could actually recruit people from every MMORPG to take part. -
Quote:You posted this nonsense elsewhere.Okay. Question.
Just how many people do you think are actually interested in this?
Are you aware that from the launch of Issue 4 Colosseum in May 2005 to the release of Issue 13 in December 2008 the percentage of the player-base partaking in "PvP Content" never rose above single digit percentages?
Are you aware that after the release of Issue 13 the existing PvP-player base says the community SHRUNK and that PLAYERS LEFT THE GAME?
I can give you one good reason why the devs shouldn't create an Open World PvP server: Nobody Cares.
Oh, and for the record, this has been suggested before, way back in 2005 when Issue 4 was launched, and again when NCSoft bought City of Heroes from Cryptic.
Please reference where you got your statistics from or just shut up. -

Quote:Yeah people don't post here much these days. Not gonna get into why as the yiff brigade will descend upon me once more.Thanks bro!
So um, damn is Virtue dead these days? Board wise I mean. I used to post in this section of the forums and then try to find the post a minute later and it would already be on the second page.
I see (for me at least) this thread is still on the first page.
Good to see you mate! -
Right that does it. RP events incoming. Give me a couple days to write something up.
-
Oh no. I made Xanatos when I was 15. This was in 2001 back on the COH pre-game boards.
-
Quote:Aye we did. I think with COH going F2P we could get a lot of that back.We used to discuss all aspects of rp on these boards -- dialogue, background-building, interactive storytelling. As much as I miss Gemini Park, I also miss those first couple of years on the Virtue boards. And this isn't an attempt to point out what is wrong with the boards these days. I'm just saying that they used to be more interesting and useful. You could actually keep up with various characters' stories here. You could learn the ins and outs of rp and we built what was very close to a shared universe. Not so much these days.

It's definitely due to your connection. I had something similar happen a while ago.
Try port forwarding City of Heroes and see if that helps. Chances are this could just be your routers' firewall being a troll. -
This is Xanatos' theme song:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pNspU43UzJc
I'm not even joking. I remember his origin story I wrote way back when I was 15. Xanatos was kidnapped by a villain and a group of heroes came to rescue him while this song played. ("In the distance...song lyrics could be heard...") I actually interspersed the lyrics with the prose. At the time I thought it was seriously epic, looking back now it was so unintentionally tragic.
Of course I never explained where the music was coming from.
