Also, if you level up in the AE, you'll miss a lot of badges and the accolade powers that come with them. You'll miss opening up Ouroboros and the Midnight Club and unlocking hidden contacts (redside) and TFs (blueside).

Turn off anti-aliasing.

Then post the results of these two programs:
<ul type="square">[*]CoH Helper - it will show us basic computer settings and your CoH configuration.
[*]HijackThis - it will show us what's running on your computer concurrently with CoH. Click on "Do a system Scan and save a logfile." It will automatically open up Notepad and put the info there. Make sure Wordwrap is off in Notepad (Format > Wordwrap unchecked) before you cut and paste here.

Is there Windows Blinds (a windows skinner) running? If yes disable it.
Don't think any computer need four anti-virus programs running. -
To reiterate:
1. Leave any AE mission. In fact, make sure you're not in any TF-mode from the AE or Ouroboros.
2. Open badge window. In the drop down menu on top, chose Veteran Badges. Look for the 12 month reward (there should be 3 badges labeled '12' until you redeem the reward) and click claim reward.
3. Double check your powers. On the power tray click on 'Powers' on the top of the tray. In the Powers Window, scroll the right side and see if you have either Sands of Mu or the Ghost Slayer Ax in the Inherent section. If you still don't have it after going through steps 1-3, contact customer support.
4. Go to one of your other alts that's supposed to have Sands of Mu. Does that character still have it? If not, contact customer support. -
DxDiag is too long and very few of us know how to read it. CoH Helper was made to take it's place.

Nope, I crashed again...
[/ QUOTE ]
Well, if it works in Safe Mode, with all the graphics turned down/off but not with the graphics turned high/on, then it's one of those graphics settings causing the problem.
Go into the Options > Graphics window and turn off whatever can be turned off and lower everything else to the lowest setting.
If it doesn't crash, then you know that resolution is OK. If it still crashes however, manually set it to 800x600 resolution. If it then stops crashing, then the resolution is the problem. Try different resolutions.
If, however, the resolution is not the problem. Then start turning the graphics options back on/high. Do one at a time and play a few hours. If turning it up/on doesn't cause a crash, move on to the next graphics fx until you find the one crashing you. Then... don't use it. -

I posted my hijack report before seeing your reply and subsequently did not check for word wrap - my apologies...am reading through the other thread now while I look to see where/how to find the updates I night need.

Don't forget CoH Helper report, too. -
I think you'll get Vanguard Merits for bombs or the GM but not for Rikti kills if you haven't done the RWZ intro arc.

Update graphics card drivers. If that doesn't work, update motherboard chipset/CPU driver. If that doesn't work...

Well, there's a Country field on the application page, so...

Moderater08! He's using Latin!! -
Fried, Roman, Countrymen, hand me your ears. Manticore is trying to trick you. He has told many lies on the past, but this one eats the cake.
You see my friends, Manticore cannot see dogs.
It is true. This was demonstrated very well in the recent Arachnos incident involving him. Arachnos found out about Manticore's only innate super power, which he keeps the utmost secret. They sent dogs to attack him, since they knew canines were not visible to him. The dogs started attacking him and he was like "What manner of surreptitious fisticuffs is this?" Then Statesman came in and said
"WHAT HELL YOU ARE DOING?"
"I seem to be under attack by invisible foes."
"WHY YOU LET A DOG BITE YOU? IS YOU STUPID?"
"Well, old chum, you know that concealed creeping canines cannot and are invisible to me."
Fortunately for Manticore, just then, Ghost Widow was searching for dogs in eBay, and bough the dogs attacking him. She glued them together to make a hat for Wretch. His old dog hat was dirty and he needed a new one. You see, if Wretch doesn't wear a dog hat for at least five hours a day, he becomes William Shatner. However, if he leaves it on too long, he runs the risk of becoming Vin Diesel.
Naturally, this would displease Lord Recluse, because as we all know Lord Recluse is in fact Vin Diesel. He would not want a second clone of him running around. The first clone is known as Mynx.
Mynx, when placed next to Lord Recluse, can only speak in Spanish. But that is not the point.
The point is, Manticore can't see dogs.
He fought Wretch the very next day, who can go 8 million miles a day. Then he saw another planet. It was called Earth. Wretch said:
"Cheerio, Manticore old boy! Do you like my hat?"
"Jolly good, old bean! I cannot see your hat!"
"Ah! of course! I have forgotten, dear me, what a buffoon I am! You can't see dogs! My apologies, old chap!
Then he tried calling Ghost Widow but she was busy surfing the internet looking to buy the biggest pants possible.
What she didn't realize was that Lord Recluse was watching, waiting for her to change clothes, while wearing his special glasses. Unfortunately he was standing there for a very long time because Ghosts don't change clothes.
Lord Recluse hates his glasses. He is in fact very near-sighted but refuses to wear his glasses or admit it. This is why his meeting room has a television 40 feet high.
Also, Scirocco hates it when he puts his glasses on because whenever he does Scirocco's head bursts into flames. That is why Scirocco has dreadlocks and a metal plate on his head. So it won't catch fire.
Manticore was the one who custom made the plate on his head. Scirocco can also be seen constantly driving a golf cart with hydraulics that Manticore custom made for him. Manticore thought the golf cart was invisible though, because it was made of dogs, who bark every time Scirocco pours gas on them.
I hope this history lesson has taught you all something valuable. Just remember: If Manticore says that he sees a dog, he is trying to mislead you. And if Manticore ever truly sees a dog....heavens help us all.
Now that is just silly. Everyone knows Manticore doesn't even watch TV because last time he did the TV showed a picture of a Rikti and he punched it so hard the Rikti exploded in real life. And the TV? Well. The TV became what we call "Statesman's Favorite Hat" Therefore, because he does not watch TV's, Manticore cannot be Bill Brasky. Because Bill Brasky is a figment of his imagination. -
Well, if you can deal with 7 spawns of Longbow coming into the bank lobby all at once with AoE control powers, then that's fun a fun trap to spring. If you're not prepared for it, it's almost guaranteed death.
There's a ambush trigger point right outside the bank doors and right inside the bank doors, so, rushing to the bank is guaranteed to trigger at least 2 ambushes. The other trigger points can be avoided by flying along the zone ceiling (as high as you can go) or along the zone boundary walls.
Or, you can travel slowly dispatching each ambush as they spawn. The problem with that is that outdoor Longbow ambushes are spread out and not easily controlled and killed as you can when you get them in a narrow hallway or cave. For a large group the best tactic actually is everyone rushing into the bank lobby *together* and popping a few shield inspirations and nailing the ambush as they come through the door. But that requires everyone to know that it's happening and doing it together. If the first person in the zone rushes to the bank before everyone else zones in, they're likely to die having to deal with 7 spawns spawned for a team of 8 by themselves.
And one other thing: Doing mayhems on anything other than the lowest difficulty setting is insanity. Mayhems are harder than ordinary missions. And extra teammates makes it exponentially harder. No pity at all for anyone who keeps their difficulty setting high for a mayhem. None. -

He is completely wrong, set bonuses have been nerfed dramatically with diminishing returns and such.

Those angry over the I13 PvP changes make these two critiques:
1. If you're not maxed out on IO Set Bonuses, you can't survive PvP.
2. IO Set Bonuses have been so nerfed, my IO Set Bonuses are now useless in PvP.
So... just try it and see what you think. -
Here's the confusion: Time Cards can buy time, that is, months of play time. However, Time Cards can't be used to purchase a full edition of the game.
To buy the full edition of the game, you can go to a store and buy the Good v. Evil edition or the Architect Edition with cash. Or, you can buy the physical Good v. Evil or Architect Edition boxes online through an Internet store, such as Amazon. Or, you can buy the digital edition (no box) from PlayNC which is just a serial code.
The serial code found in the physical boxes or from the online digital purchase will transform the Trial Account into a Purchased Full Edition Account.
Besides using PayPal for online purchases, you can get a VISA Debit (Gift) Card from a physical store or bank. I linked to where you can get them in Canada. Use that as if it were a credit card to purchase the Full Edition (i.e., non-Trial) of the game. It can also be used to purchase time.

Go nuke (with no KB) a very low level spawn, the entire spawn will remain standing and going through their emotes with 0 hp until they finally fade away.

Synapse, ITF, LGTF... any of them. It seems to claim one to seven teammates randomly. I've heard it discussed on global channels, too.
Log back in an /bug it whenever it happens so they can track it down. -
From the diagnostics you posted, it should be working right. Customer Service has their own diagnostic tools and their the only ones who can help at this point.
Although... does it crash when you play the game in Safe Mode? -
Is this going to turn into a Candle Jack threa

I-I never thought of sending someone a coffee basket before. Now that I see it in print, it seems like such an obvious thing. I now have most of my random gifts covered! D:
Also, popping out of gift baskets is a really neat way to show fan appreciation. :3
