Just started the 14 day trial and have a bunch of questions.

1. How do I get recipes, I have gotten a lot of salvage but have not seen any recipes drop?

2. How does the consigments store work, how do I get what I am trying to buy?

3. I try the architech entertainment and it says I have no story arc, how do I get one and where?

4. What are the different channels that I can speak on when I am on the 14 day trial?

Thanks for all the help and the specific you could be the better.

Welcome to Paragon City!

1. The lowest level recipe (with rare exceptions) is level 10, so you won't have any drop until you reach level 7 at least. They also drop less frequently than salvage.

2. http://wiki.cohtitan.com/wiki/Consignment_House

3. Trial accounts cannot create arcs or lead arcs in the AE system. You can join teams that are running AE missions, though. This is an anti-spam measure as well as an incentive to purchase the full game.

Trial Accounts can only speak in

* /local
* /help
* /team

wow thanks for answers, also are there arcs that are only for one person, do you have to create them or are there others you can just select and do?

You can peruse all published arcs as well as make your own. Each account can publish for public use up to three arcs. You do not have to publish an arc to play it yourself.

Not sure exactly what you mean, but it sounds like you are asking about Architect Entertainment. Some people have created arcs just for themselves, but if they are published, they can't stop you from running them. They may not make much sense, though. You can create your own arcs, or you can choose from several tens of thousands of player created arcs to run.

All missions (including Architect missions) scale for the number of players in the team. So if you do them solo, the number of enemies will be small enough for you to handle. If you take a team of eight the fights will be much bigger.

There are thousands of Architect arcs already created. A huge draw for the system is the ability to share your work with the entire community.

guess my questions did not come out right. I do not know where to look at or get the arc missions, I go where the hologram guys are and in front of the them are computers that my curser turns into a blue hand, but nothing happens when I click on it, am I doing something wrong or am I at the wrong place?

You can't access the computers on a trial account, I'm afraid. If you want to play an AE arc, you have to join a team where the leader has access to it.

oh, and by the way - the /help is not a channel
/help pulls up a help menu
but you can access the [Help] channel by using /hc

Kind of confusing as all the other channels have the name of the channel after the /, but so many new players apparently complained because they weren't getting the help menu by typing /help that they changed the /help channel access command to /hc.

Confused?

Yeah, it doesn't make much sense but that's what's gong on at this point with the [Help] channel.

Good luck, btw, and welcome to the City.

Also - if you want to team with others on a trial account, you an usually ask for help in /hc to have someone go and form/invite to a team for you. I've done it for people - invite them and then quit to continue what I was doing, or logging off, whatever.

There are Tutorials you can do for both MA and crafting.

At level 10 you can go to the university in either Cap au Diable (red side) or Steel Canyon (blue side) to do a tutorial on Invention Enhancements and recipe crafting. You will get to make one Basic IO during the tutorial. At the end of the University Tutorial, you will be sent to the Market and the Information contact standing next to them (Looks Like He Knows Something redside and the person in the middle of the floor blueside) can explain how the Markets work.

There's also a contact in the MA buildings to explain how that works. Look in your Contacts tab as you are "introduced" to them automatically when you reach the appropriate level.
