I'm thinking of going with elec. No clue as to why. -
Hey, I really have a strong urge for a TA/ defender, as most of the powers look great, except I have a problem. What secondary to take? Having already taken and loved /archery on my blaster, I'd like to have a change. Not /psi to carry on MaX's FoTM, but I was thinking maybe elec. I'm okay with bow drawing times, and was wondering if this'd be a good set to go with, or any other reccomendations?

Woo, this was awesome! There was a great FFA, and then an amazing few team matches after that! It died down a bit, and it's going into duels now, just owned jakku 13-0, and carrying on!

Shadow fall gives great +res to certain damages, I think neg energy, energy and psi? Not sure.

Why not 3 slot damage for your pets? It will add so much damage, that's an extra 33% damage on top of their base you're missing out there.

Good build, except for the lack of early attacks. Already taken bone smasher, and I like the general order I have now. And I'm not taking taunt, I will be more likely to rely on punchvoke/Chilling embrace for that, and I'm being a bit scrankerish anyway. Thanks for the advice on end reds though!

Well, I'll probably be slotting a few more end reds, slotting is not definate, will adjust to playstyle. But anyway, I thought energy absorbtion was great or something, without extra end mod. Ah well. Will get powers in the order I have roughly, and see how it goes.

Hey, I'm really interested in the powers from the ice primary, and I want a more offensive character- but still one able to tank with a little support. I went for ice, because it's a set that interests me, looks cool, and the powers just seem to suit me. I went for energy because of the two big hitters, and the nice PBAoE.
So, I've rolled up a build. How badly'd I do? Never really gotten far on a tank so far...

Oh, so, which ones will I be taking off? Or will I run most of them at the start of combat for taking the alpha(In case of no tank) And turning the s/l shield and the elemental one off, and also cloak of darkness, and using my heal to live?

Well, I rolled a build together, and it's not looking good. I mean, it looks ownage, but there's SO much to fit in. I was thinking of skipping SJ and settling for CJ+Hurdle, as I can cope with, but that'd prohibit my access to Acro. I do, however, team with a kin, so I might be able to convince him to get ID (He's already got SB), and that might let me skip at least acro? I don't know. Anyway, here's a build I've put together, but i don't think it's too good. No fighting pool.

Why CoD if you have CJ btw, or the other way around? And btw, what about quills? Surely 2 damage auras would own?

Okay, I rolled me a Spines/DA, just hit 7, and my intention was pretty much to AoE stuff with the 2 auras and the PBAoE, and be able to adjust into a Single Target scrapper when need be, probably by taking off my damage toggles. So far as I can tell, I will have 5 toggles up, that's the three shields, the damage aura, and acro. maybe Oppressive Gloom later. I'm obviously getting stam, and I will have a kin defender leveling with me, which will help a little with the end, but I shouldn't rely. Things I'm thinking-any pools needed? I'm going for the leaping pool, so shouldn't need cloak of darkness. What should I take before stam? Hurdle+Health? Slotting health to reduce downtime.
Defo taking dark regen. Slot acc+recharge? -
Might be able to do it with 2xSB, seems more likely. With stacked siphon speed, of course.
