Quote:If you've done TPN, your character can go to Empyrean Michael (?) and buy the pistol unlocks with incarnate merits, can't they?I actually placed a bid on 2 Maelstrom's Pistol recipes the other day. (Hope I can get it for that price)
From what I've heard in game, and possibly read on the forums, don't remember exactly, 1 Maelstrom's Pistol recipe only gives you 1 pistol for 1 hand. In other words, you need to craft 2 of the recipe to have a pistol in each hand. Currently they are showing a price around 400 million to 800 million for each recipe. The first recipe probably crafts the right hand pistol and the second gives you the left hand. (Not sure on this. I'll post in the questions section about it. The paragon wiki only says you get both pistols unlocked instead of receiving a recipe for a dual pistols or thugs mastermind when purchased with empyrean merits.) -
There isn't a UI team, that's why our UI updates suck so bad, and why their time is so valuable - they're doing something more important, like animations or power design or whatever.

Updated. I'll be getting pictures in a couple days when my stipend goes through.

Free players can join supergroups, where someone else can make bases.

Her father (in both Primal and Praetorian Earths) speaks pretty typical English, actually. No wrong word usage, no archaic/disused words, full sentences. He even says "'ey" in Penelope's Faultline arc. lol

It's in the patch notes saying it's not released with the launch of I23 (I23 launch was pushed forward). Likely with Tuesday's market update.

Yes. You need to be in Paragon City to start the hero arcs, and you need to be in the Rogue Isles to start the villain arcs. You can't start the opposite side's arcs from the wrong 'city'.

Your log seems to be hacked in half.. the City part of it is missing.

And I haven't found any way to bind the popup tray to any keys so you *HAVE* to click on them. I don't click on things! This is terrible.

The patch notes say they won't be available with the launch of I23. Likely because of the pushed-up date of release. They'll probably be available with the Tuesday market update.

No, not really; for technical reasons. They were planning on BABs' TF, so that wouldn't have been hard at all; he just needed to vacate the Atlas Park police department and it'd be all good. Then the player base rose up as one and demanded (fairly justifiably) Ms Libs get her grandpappy's task force during Open Beta (well after most changes are confirmed in the production pipeline). Ms Lib is the "fedex delivery!" person in several story arcs and task forces, and they didn't have the time to change all those to go to Libs in IP, or to BABs in front of Atlas, or to another contact entirely before I23 dropped. So they left Libs there and plan on moving BABs out eventually, when they fix those arcs.

Quote:Why do you need the whole top half? The heads work well. (Warning: really crappy photoshop job.) NOTE: I horizontally flipped them to face the logo instead of the feeling of turning their backs on the logo.Make a banner using only the top halves of the 2 standing poses.
Their bodies could even peek out from behind the forums via fancy CSS (although I don't have a lot of faith in Seattle's fancy CSS department, to be honest). -
Quote:I'll be totally honest here: This was completely out of left field and I honestly don't understand the reaction. Bit befuddled, me.To address this list business once and for all.
I am retired. I agree with all my apparently many and very vocal detractors that I am not funny. I publicly apologize for every attempt at humor I have ever done in the past on these forums as they were quite obviously misdirected and foolhardy.
While I am still playing the game itself, I believe this will be my last post on the forums. It is no longer fun here. I had fully intended not to write a good-bye post as they always strike me as self-serving and attention-grabbing. Unfortunately, it appears I can not even make a serious post that wasn't intended to be funny at all without people telling me "that wasn't funny."
So be it.
Thank you, Memphis Bill, for at least responding to the actual subject of my thread and not turning this into some sort of personal attack.
For those who believe this is a joke of some kind, you will be waiting a very long time for the punchline. -
Obligatory wiki link one! Obligatory wiki link two!
If someone could gather up the information in a neater package than the thread linked up there *points*, I would love to update the wiki to include better numbers. -
Imagining Bill's posts coming from tilty-head-cat. Laughing inside.

That is changing with regular IOs getting updated with PPM (as opposed to SBE/ATO, which are already using PPM).

We're talking about Holy Trinity MMOs here, folks. In Holy Trinity MMOs, it's always the healer's fault*.
*As mentioned before, that's actually rare. -
There's really no such thing as a buffer/debuffer in the Holy Trinity MMOs.
