Try my guide. It's a little outdated, so don't trust the numbers, but most of its advice is pretty solid. The only exception is, Siphon Life is now your second best attack, so slot it accordingly.

You heard it here folks, Issue 15 Beta is definitively going to Test on Monday, May 18th. And if not, the devs are lying liars who lie to continue their mad lying scheme of lying.

How is less than 30 percent a simple fact?

It's Da_Captain. There's a reason why he's #2 of 3 on my ignore list. -

Banes don't need a buff.
[/ QUOTE ]
Yeah, they really do. Being squishier than all the other VEATs while not dealing more damage and not having unique features like a Fortunata's control makes a branch weak. Their attacks are just too slow. They're unwieldy. Surveillance dropping your Mace is bad. It also needs to last much longer. You shouldn't be whipping your targeting comp out every twenty seconds to maintain that -res. -
[ QUOTE ]
It definitely doesnt need to be nerfed in the tanker version. Playing my Inv/SS solo through a map is like watching paint dry ... at least relative to playing a scrap or blaster.
[/ QUOTE ]
Wow, and I wonder why that is... maybe because you're twice as immortal as scrappers and a trillion times as immortal as blasters? Nerf the Perma-BU set. It's stupid. -
Don't mind the Suggestions Cabal and especially the Forum Police. Self-important folks do as self-important folk always do.
-
If you have to choose between the two, go for a melee crab. You'll have better offence than a ranged bane and better mitigation than a melee bane, so you shouldn't be too gimp.

Grey is not red. Grey is an artificial limit put in place BEFORE it hits red.

I make a prediction here and now. Tuesday at least 9 of the servers will hit heavy load.
Probably all 11
[/ QUOTE ]
I'd be surprised if half of them hit yellow. I don't think it's POSSIBLE to hit red any more, with the server pop cap. -
Well, I don't PvP any more, but a man once told me something about Spirit Shark:
SHAARRRRRKKKKKK
in other words, it's good -

I don't know why we still don't have this. It's the best idea ever ever ever to ever ever exist ever.
Ever.

Except for, y'know, the stuff that isn't just fluff. Like this.
Down with the Big Red Ball. -
Sure! Would be great.
And no, never got a PM... wonder if my PM box is full... -

Is the female/female affectation not working?
[/ QUOTE ]
I think it was too clearly written for male/female interaction. Such as the comment regarding her tendency to blush when asking someone out. -
Hi Turg...
Thanks for proving MA doesn't suck that bad. Your arc was beautifully written and very moving... although, playing the arc with a female character is a little... immersion breaking. That's my only complaint. Now get crackin' on the second and third before I start getting twitchy. -

Pulse Rifle Shot - Ranged, low damage, very fast recharge
Pulse Rifle Blast - Ranged, Moderate Damage (Energy/lethal)
Pulse Rifle Burst - Ranged, High Damage (Energy/lethal), Foe Kb
Photon Grenade - Ranged (Targeted Area of Effect), Moderate Damage (Energy/Smash), Disorient
Kinetic Nullifier - ST hold, -recharge
Kinetic Nullifiation Array - Cone immob, -recharge
Piercing Beam - snipe, with a small Dot added on
Death Ray - A constant stream of damage that is toggle controlled. Single target, must keep LOS. works with a constant dam/end ratio. Very Heavy end cost, but good damage.
Photon Bomb - nuke, with disorient

Pulse Rifle Shot - Ranged, low damage, very fast recharge
Pulse Rifle Blast - Ranged, Moderate Damage (Energy/Fire)
Pulse Rifle Burst - Ranged, High Damage (Energy/Fire), Foe Disorient (mag 3, 5 seconds, 66% chance)
Pulse Rifle Spray - Ranged (Cone), Moderate Damage (Energy/Fire), Disorient
Kinetic Nullifier - ST hold, -recharge
Kinetic Nullification Array - Cone immob, 33% chance for hold, -recharge
Piercing Beam - snipe, with a small Dot added on
Death Ray - A massive stream of damage. Very Heavy end cost, but good damage. (Extremely narrow cone [think 5 degrees], NOT a toggle, DoT)
BFG - Full Auto-ish, but not a DoT... well, those who played Doom will understand
Edit:
Just to clarify, I changed the gun to Energy/Fire instead of Energy/Smashing and Energy/Lethal. Lethal or Smashing would indicate the gun had a physical component--such as bullets--to aid in damage. Because laser guns obviously do not have bullets, it makes little sense for them to deal physical damage. However, since lasers can get really really freakin' hot, fire and energy both make perfect sense.
I also omitted any reference to Photon Grenades, because seriously, MOAR LASERS = GOOD LASERS.
Death Ray in its original incarnation is simply not feasible, in my opinion. You can, however, create a very devastating mini-cone that, like Golden Dragonfly or Head Splitter, could be balanced as a single target attack.
BFG is also an homage to the classic laser gun/death ray in Doom, which allows one to send forth an unholy blast of laser-cannon fire. -
Nice. Now how 'bout that I15?
-
Siphon more cash from the masses. How about some cool free stuff?

Joke suggestions should be banned. They're never funny.

This should be in Jay's thread. Otherwise, yes please.

Did anyone notice Castle's new sig?

[Posi's huge post]

A great example of a developer caring enough to issue a public retraction and explanation. Kudos, Posiman. Kudos. -

I don't exactly know if Corzzaro is a real name, or not.
[/ QUOTE ]
It's not. It's just an amalgamation of Francisco Pizarro (I recall he conquered the Incan Empire) and Hernan Cortez (conquered the Aztec Civilisation), two well known Spanish conquistadors. I used the name because I didn't feel like writing Cortez/Pizarro again... and look what you made me do! -
It should be easily possible. There are at least two Giant Monsters that spawn similarly--Hamidon and Caleb--and I do really like the idea of a Pizzaro/Cortez type.
I don't think he should be a GM though. Eight elite bosses and Corzzaro an AV should be sufficiently challenging. I'd also like it if he didn't have 'dark' powers, but rather 'dark empowered' powers. Meaning his conquistador sword would simply deal NE damage on top of lethal. -

Level 12: Placate
* (A) Recharge Reduction IO: Level 50
[/ QUOTE ]
You use Placate waaaay too much to justify single slotting it. Go two at the very least.

Level 22: Stamina
* (A) Performance Shifter - EndMod: Level 50
* (31) Performance Shifter - EndMod/Recharge: Level 50
* (31) Performance Shifter - Chance for +End: Level 50
[/ QUOTE ]
Try to find a fourth slot for another Performance Shifter IO. That'll give you ... some good bonus of some kind, I can't remember, and also give you 92%ish end mod enhancement.

Level 24: Kuji-In Sha
* (A) Miracle - Heal/Endurance: Level 40
* (33) Miracle - Endurance/Recharge: Level 40
* (33) Miracle - Heal/Recharge: Level 40
* (33) Miracle - Heal/Endurance/Recharge: Level 40
* (34) Miracle - Heal: Level 40
* (34) Miracle - +Recovery: Level 40
[/ QUOTE ]
Never, ever stick a unique like Miracle in a click, and try to avoid sticking them in toggles too. I'd try to frankenslot four or five IOs into it (try to max heal and recharge), then stick in the Steadfast: res/def IO.

Level 26: Kuji-In Rin
* (A) Recharge Reduction IO: Level 50
* (34) Recharge Reduction IO: Level 50
* (36) Recharge Reduction IO: Level 50

With the extra recharge from your IOs, the third recharge is unnecessary. Probably the second as well, considering you're using level 50 commons.

* (39) Glimpse of the Abyss - Accuracy/Fear/Recharge: Level 50

Find another slot if possible.

Ditch entirely.
The rest is quite solid. Enjoy!
