Need this badly. If only so as:
    - I can annoy my mate/playbuddy Lance
    - I can legitimately say "nuke it from orbit. It's the only way to be sure."
It would allow me to not have to go to Warburg to utilise Alpha's orbital Railcannon, Reason

Still a +1 War Walker is pretty much a dead-even fight for my Scrapper. Neither of us can win unbuffed, but a stack of reds tilt the balance barely in my favor.
    70% S/L resistance, apparently.

I have got to fight these guys soon!

Malta Titans, Especially Zeus' Titans, are also very guilty of this.
Forewarned is forearmed, 'cos those things are actually more effective than a Blind Grenade.

    Do not like.

    HOLY BACKGROUND, BATMAN!!

....Right. You now need to help me find my bottom jaw.
    Anyone see where it landed?

    Bugs Mastermind?

I like the idea, except for the Tier 1 pets. Yes, thematically it's cool. However, it's also a nightmare practically. Half a pet for BG mode, twice as much resummoning as other MMs, twice as many minions taking up room on crowded maps? Fast dying minions ain't fun, especially at higher levels, where they die fast anyway.

I think you'd need to sacrifice a little of the theme for actual practicality. Other than that? Five legs up.
  7. ....OhSHI-!
    *Gets consumed by TvTropes*
  8. I'd like the Leadership toggles not to have such a stupidly obscene end/sec cost. For what they do, it's only really viable on a few of my toons, such as my MM and my Empath.
And Tough and Weave are guilty of this. Sure, they are nice bonuses, but they already take up a power pick, slots and a power pool choice. Getting penalised with end/sec cost is a bit much to have on top, IMO.

As far as Walk and these costume swaps... I see no reason not to allow them... Provided the model you swap into has a walking animation attached to it, which I'm not sure all of them do.
All of the ones we as players can access have. Since all the ones we have access and potential access to have legs and a walk animation by default, due to being NPCs.
  10. I wouldn't mind if the 'last mob of enemies' actually showed up on Kill All maps. It often doesn't, yet it shows up on objective based maps.
  11. Are the Goliath War Walkers even bigger? Or just EB re-named and the same size as the War Walker?

That Orbital Lance 3-stage power looks awesome, too. Imagine a tier 9 that gave you three powers and an orbital strike....

Give the random standers something to do. I don't see any reason why it shouldn't be put in. And I too have run into the stupidly long times that it can take to drop tips or, in my more annoying case, morality missions. Thank you, Sods law...
  14. Hmm. Actaully wonder what sort of coding would be required to allow toggles to run while walking. After all, aside from activation, which tends to be rooted or simply not animate if moving, toggles in general don't require any new animations.

Hmn. A 'Don't_Allow_Attacks' state? Being able to use Walk and, say, Shadow Cloak from Dark Armour or Warshades version, or heck any toggle aura, would be pretty cool.
  15. New players don't have the vet attacks.
Also, not having to pick the three fitness powers isn't gonna suddenly make everyone able to solo lvl 54 Hero class Statesman. It just means that 1-22 won't be a suck-trip that lacks endurance, so people can actaully get on and do what they should be doing; enjoying the game.
  16. I'd personally say given the ammount of variety that we have, these ones, being of CBs creation, would be specific to what he says. Which, as it turns out he has already done so, and makes perfect sense

I do know that the DeFeurards don't work like that, however

So if you're writing for the Unionverse, you're writing for the CoXverse. Just -a- CoxVerse. Which is the Unionverse.
    ^ This

And the Editors also happen to include every other player on the server, to avoid complete rompage over other peoples toes.
  18. /Unsigned. It just...I...heck, if I have to actually explain it, that in and of itself is a problem.

Also; why the hell would Synapse, arguably the fastest character in the CityOf Universe, give a -5% penalty to movement speed?
Pfffhehehehe....sorry, but that just made me smirk.

But the exact count of victims is irrelevant, whether 100 or 1000, a terrorist attack does not automatically lead into a war.
No one has ever said that. The simple, inescabale fact is that, as it was, the St Johns event would have. Unless we simply godmoded the game world into it 'not being a big deal'.

I'm getting a little sick of the whole damn event, in truth, due to having to explain the reasoning behind decrying it over and over.
  20. Actually -

Wait, why the hell are we talking about Marvel? At least CityOf Canon makes al inear kinda sense. I gave up trying to keep track of just what the smeg is going on in Marvel canon, or comic-book canon at all for that matter, because it's so damn wierd it makes my brain hurt.

And, again, for the umpteenth time; MMO stories///!= Comic Book story, for the very simple reason that all the stories in a certain comic universe are controlled by one person/group, i.e. the writers.
In an MMO setting, you simply cannot do the same things. Yes, CoX is a game based on comic book super heroes, but it does NOT work on the same principals in practical terms, because it CAN'T.

Anyway, that proves my point nicely. Out of the actual terrorist attacks, the one on forums would have been second only to 9/11. Trying to ignore that would be like ignoring....I dunno, something equally horrific. I know the politcal and rioting ones are worse, but that's where countries are in a state of war or civil war anyway. Not just an out of the blue civilian target.
  23. By 'passive' toggles I mean things like costume toggles; the Carnie, KoA, PPD Hardsuit ones, etc.

See, if you go into the AE Power suppresion room, there is actually one power that still works there; walk. So it is possible to flag powers as exceptions, to give them a name.
So, walk acts in a very similar way to the power suppresion room. Would it be possible to transfer that effect to the costume toggles, to allow them and walk to be used simultaneously?
