This is the first newsletter I have ever gotten, in fact I almost flagged it as spam because I didn't recognize the email address immediately.

CoF's accuracy is not the same as OG. CoF is base accuracy .67, OG is base 1.0. That is a significant difference, and definitely not "the same".
I'm amused that he doesn't even take the time to touch on my comment. I have completely neutered his whole argument, since it's based off a false claim that the two powers begin equally (at the same base accuracy), which they do not. But facts like that don't belong here! Logic has no place here, just "something feels wrong with this"!
  3. October 20 to November 3rd, this information was in a recent newsletter. I have no idea if it's been posted on the forum or not.

    - Starts: Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at 8:59 a.m. PST (11:59 a.m. EST)
    - Ends: Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at 11:59 p.m. PST (2:59 a.m. EST)

(though past holiday events have occasionally started earlier and run later, so these times may change spontaneously)

The Hydra origin enhancement (Positron Exposure) is heal/end reduction as well.

Let me repeat: There is no Special Enhancement that modifies Endurance Modification. Only standard single-aspect enhancements and Invention enhancements.

  7. Both the Hami (Golgi Exposure) and the Titan Crystal O's (Titan Peridont Shard) are heal/end reduction. There is no Special O Enhancement for endmod. Only standard enhancements (single enhancement type, either TO/DO/SO or generic IO) and invention enhancement sets.

    This is by design.

Why are you trying to slot Dull Pain with end mod sets? [EDIT: second thought, DP = Drain Psyche? DP is the universal acronym for Dull Pain, so if you mean other than DP, explain yourself. LOL]

I've bookmarked it for instant smiles. It's the perfect remedy from a terrible day in the hospital yesterday.

The bookmark is labeled "OMG LEMUR TICKLES".

Or Electric Armor Brute/Scrapper/Tank. End drain? There's such a thing as end drains?

My bf's first character was an electric brute. He actually said the above ("There's such a thing as end drains?") when he made another character that didn't have end drain resistance. "Oooh. So that's why you guys are always cursing Malta!"

It's not. The game puts a hard cap on travel speeds. Running cap is 92.5mph. You cannot run faster than that, even if your combat data says you are. You are "capped".
  14. I put " -maxinactivefps 3" in my shortcut and leave it there, that way even if I'm not dual-boxing, if I tab out then I have more computer resources if I want to do something goofy like run Photoshop or something.

You can have as many instances of the game up as your compy can handle, but only one instance of the patcher.
You don't need to go all the way to the login screen, you just need to get to the little blue bar. The patcher can't run concurrently, as soon as the patcher disappears, you can immediately open a new one.

    1. No.
    2. Yes. Unlimited amount of times!
    3. Vendor them if you really don't care, but there are certain pieces (especially recipes) that are worth *MILLIONS* (sometimes FIFTY MILLION...HUNDRED MILLION... or more!). Salvage doesn't get as high as recipes (some is decently priced, a lot of it is at vendor prices). I recommend reading up in The Market subforum.
  16. Yes.

I think you (general 'you', not just TA) should be able to post whatever you want to post, if it ties in to artsing. Assisting others with artsing ties in.

    Vet rewards

Look in your NCsoft Account Management page for your City account. At the bottom will be a listing of your veteran rewards. If your latest reward, that hasn't been awarded but should have been, is more than three months from your last reward, contact support to fix it.

  23. If you buy the Architect Edition box set, the DVD in it will be updated through Issue 14. We're currently on Issue 16, so you will have to download and fix some portions of the piggs. However, you won't have to do it all.

Only the Architect Edition is updated enough to qualify as much of a shortcut to downloading. Even if you got the Good vs Evil edition DVD, that's only updated to Issue 7, several years ago.

  25. You're hearing a bug with Invincibility (from Invulnerability), not with Energy Melee. This is fixed on test.
