To be fair, defense doesn't make a difference to the Insta-Kill patch of death.
-
Thanks for the reply Local_Man I really appreciate the input. I've been running around for about a week with the build that I first posted and am already thinking about a respec to drop the Ice EPP and pick up Fire for Rise of the Phoenix.
I have noticed that I am very vunerable to being slept, held, stunned and such. How do you plug that hole? More often than not if I am to die it is due to that. I've also noticed that with Perma PA I don't need Phantasm as much and am considering using those slots elsewhere. One thing that I have found useful is to set up a 'Dismiss' macro to dismiss all of my pets at once. It is nice for when I am running solo and want to stealth a mission. -
You forgot my favorite method..... Deceive the Bifurcations

I've decided to invest in my Ill/Rad and make him my new 'Main' as he would do well in any team. I'm sure my planned build could use quite a lot of tweaking so any input would be greatly appreciated before I start spending the billions on the build. Of course my primary goal is Perma PA. Anything after that is just extra goodness.
Oh, and this isn't a leveling build so please ignore the levels that powers are taken and slotted.

Quote:I'd do what I always do if a friend asks me what they should bring to the team. I'd tell em to bring what they want to play. There isn't really much need to have a specific team build for this game. You can make just about anything work.A good player is better than an average one? Would never have guessed.
If you play with people and not powersets, say you're on a team of 7, theres room for one more person and you invite your friend, that friend has both a Bubbler and and a Cold, and is equally good at playing both, which one would you rather they bring, supposing that they are also apathetic towards which one they play thusly eliminating the cop out answer of "I would tell them to play whatever they want."
Edited for typos. -
I prefer to play with people and not AT's. A good FF will beat an average Cold any day.
-
Y'all see the patch notes on the Test Server for today? Looks like CoP will have to be done without Nukes soon
-
you have to send it to your global. don't forget the '@'
-
Does this mean that we'll also be getting a single currency (I hope, I hope, I hope)?

Just because you're offered access to the closed Beta doesn't mean you're actively participating in it. Tell them you are waiting like everyone else.

Now I have stuff to hunt for.
What zone of the Shard are the face and throne in?
[/ QUOTE ]
They are both in Fire Base Zulu. The Pic posted above doesn't really show the scale of the throne very well. I'll try to get a pic of it with someone standing on it later -
ya it'd be a shame if a stealth power made it, you know, harder to see

I really wish the emote pop-up menu picked up more of the newer ones. I forget they are there, and I feel silly keeping a print out of them on my desk.
[/ QUOTE ]
Many of the new emotes are tied to exclusive content such as Booster packs. Our quickmenu system isn't robust enough to discern whether or not an emote is something that you can actually do, so there'd be a lot of confusion for players if the Wedding pack or Cyborg pack emotes suddenly appeared in their quickmenu, but they couldn't actually use them.
However, some of our more clever players have figured out that you can edit the quickmenu on your personal system and basically set it up to do whatever you want. A bit of searching and I'm sure you can find a link to the how to for that.

Anyone know what the duration and recharge of the jet pack is? If it is like the jump pack the toggle auto drops after a short while and has a fairly long recharge.

Very nice. I've teamed with some good kids in my day, certainly better teammates than some I could name...
We don't have kids, but we do have cats... and our one cat loves the animation for AM, I have to be careful and keep him off my lap when I'm playing - he's learned which key fires off AM and I swear as God is my witness, he knows when it's done recharging and he'll fire it off.
Seriously.
I have witnesses.
[/ QUOTE ]
I wish some of my teammates would fire off their AM as soon as it recharges. Instead they get it off once at the beginning of the mission and never again. Maybe your cat can teach them how to play better. -
Do they still reactivate old cancelled accounts during these events to attempt to get people to resubscribe?

My favorite quote from that night came when BAB tried to help us speed things along by rezzing us himself. Only to be immediatly killed again by the Mitos.
Us: BAB, Quit rezzing us!!!
BAB: Run Faster -
What a great idea. I'd love to see it implemented.
+1 for the BRB -

Has anyone gotten the SnowBeast temp power first, and then Snowballs later on?
[/ QUOTE ]
I got my snowbeast before the snowballs -
Any clue on how prestige is going to be awarded? Do I get the prestige for my SG or does my SG get it directly? For instance if I spend just recently changed SG's would my old SG get the prestige that I would have earned when they datamine the information or would that prestige be associated with my toon and transfer to my new SG?
