  1. 6 purples
a million prestige for my solo sg
    tank from 35-45
    brute from 22-23
    scrapper from 1-22
    scrapper from 1-30
    at least 2 /gignores i can confirm :P
  2. I thought +2/x8 was considered optimal for farming. I was thinking of that route, unless there's a build that'll make +4x8 go smooth and fast
  3. I've been using mid's, but i have a hard time setting up builds effectively. anyone have a non-purp build that's solely for demon farming? Or a fire ambush build?
  4. random button..bah, I was hoping for ugly costumes that had some thought put into them
  5. Thank you, I have a better idea of what to expect now. I think i'll go with shield, since i'm tired of working on s/l bonuses. Be a nice change.
  6. Want a brute for running AE farms, and was thinking specifically about high s/l def/resist. Of these two choices, which should I expect better damage and/or survivability from?
  7. You are officially old. At least compared to me.

You don't have a ghost called the Clobberwraith that bludgeons people to death for in revenge for the use of maces to kill people, do you?
The very idea of any spirit of vengeance that kills people as punishment for murder has always been a bit of twisted tale telling, regardless of how the spirit does the job.
  9. Thanks for the replies, some thoughts to chew on. I really dislike /fire at this point though, my dark/elec chainsaw build is a monster, I think i'll go ss/elec though.
  10. Just deleted a 41 ss/fire 'cause i realized fire sucks compared to /elec. (and I have the slots on my main server maxed out)

Want a farmer, but which primary of these two?

    any thoughts?
  11. yeah yeah, i missed a zero. 500 mill is what i currently have. anyway, thanks for the ideas all.

Is 'trops still worthwhile or does movement supresion negate the need?
  12. Apparently I had decided to delete him at one point, for he was enhancement-less and full of random power picks. I must have respecc'd him to get the goodies out.

It' s been so long since I played him though, I'm kind of lost as to what to take nowdays. Any help would be a good start! though a build would be great too! I have about 50 mil i can dump on him
  13. I've recently been trying to figure out a way to do this, and find it's also an issue when trying to link an ambush to the event.
  14. Oh good..more changes. Bleh. SO If i have hostages that just leave when freed, they won't affect xp. good to know, thanks!
  15. Wow thanks for all the tidbits to work with folks. I think i'll roll up a /cold as a pvp buff bot and a /heat for pve fun.
  16. SO the buff from /cold, when fully slotted, MAXES the targets HP? Is that what you mean?
  17. From a few things I've read, it seems that having hostages in an MA arc cuts the xp, is this true? For non-buffing, non-fighting hostages?
  18. Just wondering if there is a difference between the amount of +HP you get from the buffs in /rad /cold//heat etc.
  19. Thanks Red, just was I was looking for. Although I noticed that the Gaussians set offers a bit more +hp bonus than the Adjusted Targeting. Any reason for choosing one over the other?
  20. I'm looking to come back to pvp, and the most viable toon I have (at least I think so) Is a lvl 50 nrg/nrg blaster. I'll mainly be looking for RV/ Duels in the arena. I can't afford to slot out purps or pvp IO's yet, but I can work pretty much anything else with all the merits/infl i have.

I have been told I should be slotting for +HP and recharge, is that true? And if so, should i go Ice mastery for Hoarfrost?
  21. Sorry, new to Mid's. What does fix my code mean?

Sirens song is the opener in my attack chain. With a stealth IO in SS (which is supposed to be in the build instead of Blazing Aura) Stealth up to the mob, Sirens' to sleep and -res. Then buildup+aim combust and FSC, if anything is left after, consume or pick off with single target attacks/cones. So that's why i wanted positional defense, since I'll be all up in the mobs faces.
  22. I have a lvl 50 sonic/Fire AoE Blapper that is an absolute riot to play. Especially when Teamed with a bubble defender :P So, I'm looking for a build/slotting advice to get as much positional defense as possible, especially Melee, since I stealth towards a big mob, siren's song, then aim+Buildup

here's the powers I currently use, no slotting since it's all free to play with

I'm not slotting purps, because of cashflow, but anything else should be fair game. MAnuevers is for Lotg+recharge

Dark/Nin is still good in zones. Energy/energy has some high mag knockbacks in both primary and secondary. Take a look at the video I posted above to see the usefulness of both an energy/energy, and high mag knockback in team pvp.

Ahh ok coo, I DO love that Corr, I'll start working her up again. I assume +HP is the way to go for set bonus priorities?

    Gonna check your vid now!
