Channel - Freedom Bank Missions

Alright, so it might be a bit specialized, but these can be some of the hardest missions to find for the badger/temp power collector. I've really yet to see any banks called out on the normal frequencies, thus me and some friends decided to go a bit deeper and create something specifically for this cause.

So you don't need the badges or not interested in the nifty temps? Join anyways and help the many that are looking for these missions. Yesterday saw someone offering 10 mill for the Atlas Safeguard. To me, this is totally unnecessary for the most popular server in the game.

We're still a bit new, but we need members to become productive. If you're interested, join us!

Is there a normal night they run this, or do I just need to keep my ear tuned to the channels?

Hope I was the only one that got shortchanged for team 2, it'd be a shame if the other 2 people that tried to get Team 2 formed (right after Team 1 left) got shafted too, as they were the only people willing to step up to the bat and try to lead.

Add me as an alt as well, hopefully we can get a second team rolling.

I need this on my badger, who is on Freedom. Maybe if we get enough people together we can start a team and just pick who the winner will be each round till we all get it.

It's bugged, but there are ways around it. With enough minds together, and a bit of trial-and-error, we might be able to figure it out :P

I had originally posted a similar topic in the Freedom section, as obviously that would have applied a bit more, but there was very little (Okay, no :P) response.

Anyone on Freedom need the 6 healing badges? All you need is the Longbow Warden 2 Badge (Achieved by getting 400 PvP reputation).

I really only need one other person to help me with this, but with each extra person, the time spent getting these badges will reduce drastically.

Let me know here, or via PM, if you would like in on this. We'll set up a time and grab some rare badges that many non-buff toons will never see.

I finally got my Disruptor Badge, which means I now have the Longbow Warden 2 Gladiator.

Now I wanna work on my 6 healing badges. I know vaguely how to set it up, and know which team of gladiators work best (3 LW2, 3 Outcast Initiate Sluggers, and a cog). I will need at least one other person with the Longbow Warden 2 badge (Obtained from achieving 400 rep in a PvP zone). If we get a few people with LW2 badges, it will go a lot quicker, as there are more targets on the team to heal.

So, What do I need to have to participate?

-Longbow Warden 2 Badge, Obtained by a 400 PvP reputation
-The ability to leave your computer on overnight
-The ability to do this a few times...doesn't have to be every night in succession, but the ability to run a few times to get all 6 badges.

If people are interested, I'd like to start exactly one week today. Any questions, or comments/tips from people who have done this in the past, would be very much welcome.

I hear there are also SG healing badges or something of the like, so even if you have the 6 healing badges, it might be beneficial to help out your SG!

Unfortunately not. My badger is on Freedom.

Might have to come to that, sucks though when it's not on a popular PvP server.

At any rate, no one knows about the multiple rez issue in PvP zones?

After you get above 200 it gets slow going though. Not many people have capped/near-capped rep, and those that do are people I dont team with often it seems. I know only a handful of PvPers.

I was told by someone that the Arena was nerfed so that this type of scenario wouldn't happen. Sure enough, trying it out, it looks like I didn't get any rep for any of the kills I did. Unless there was some specific setting I needed to use, and Im not sure how to make a neverending arena match.

So my buddy got on their villain and we tried the other way, in a zone. I dunno if that got nerfed too, but he said his self rez would work the first time, and then the second time would TP him to the hospital.

Anyone know about this?

Never thought of the Arena...Rep still amounts in Arena? Does it need to be Ranked? Unranked? Arena sounds like the way to go so I wont be interrupted, I just need to know if there are any special settings.

And sorry about the crude remark against some PvPers. I just came from a harrowing experience in RV, where there was nothing but ignorant remarks no matter the outcome of the battle. This seems to be the common theme in RV, so I have a very ill disposition of PvPers. This isn't a generalization as much as it is an observation after 2 weeks of constant PvP, and having to put up with high-school name-calling.

My apologies for the legitmate PvPers out there. Albeit, If I didn't take care of that scenario in my OP, I can -guarentee- someone would tell me just to go to RV. Actually, Im sure someone still will :P

I will go ahead and brace myself for the insane amount of flames and nasty looks I'm about to get.

I'm a badge collector. On my main toon, I'm sitting at 660 badges, with about 15 more that I can easily achieve. Not bad for someone who's missing half the veteran badges and a few anniversary to boot.

I also don't PvP. My badge toon, a Spines/Dark Scrapper, is perfectly capable of at least putting up a good fight (I cant imagine the defender badgers trying to get PvP badges, my heart goes out to you). However, it's not so much I can't, it's the fact I utterly hate the scene.

So, I tried a bit of cheating. I organized a few "Rep Farms" in Warburg, with mixed results. It's simply too mind numbing to get 400 rep whenever there's only 5 other people, and you're only getting 1 point per kill. It would take many a night and some very devout people.

So now, I put my -literal- reputation on the line, and ask for something so nefarious most people would grab their pitchforks, tie me up and burn me now.

I'm interested in what some people would call "PvP recipe farming." Now hold on there! Despite what you all may think, I --ONLY-- want this to get me my 400 rep badge, which will then earn me my Longbow Warden 2 Badge, which will THEN let me get my 6 healing badges -- something most non-healing toons will never get.

I have no second account, and never will. Im a casual player at heart, and in so, I just wanna get the only toon I play the most badges possible.

NOW TO MY QUESTION!

I got a friend with a self-rez toon, and I got 2 aggro auras to take care of business. What I do not have, is the information that would allow me to go overnight without logging out. I figure with 1 rep every 5 minutes, and with the knowledge that the rez wont occur at the exact 5 minute mark, I'll be generous and say I can get 10 rep every hour. This puts me at abou 80 rep in one night. Ohhh, the sweet sound.

Autoing powers obviously doesnt work. One time, while trying to get the "Time spend in Warburg" badge, I put something to weigh down the 'W' key and let my badger run into the War Wall while I went afk. Thinking that since Im moving via keystroke, It wouldn't log me. It still did.

If this question is considered an exploit, please feel free to lock this. The last thing I want is to get banned for trying to do something like this. I'm really hoping there's a legitimate answer, and not something that would interfere with the terms of service. (I know there's no literal legitimate answer when you're asking for something to cheat the system, but bare with me...) I'm not trying to do anything sneaky here. If the devs didn't want this sort of stuff taking place, they have all the power in the world to make changes to stop it. Least I tell myself that to feel less like a sleaze for trying to do it to get my badge.

I know some may not want to answer here for the fear of people abusing this "sacred art." With that knowledge, PMs are fine. I appreciate any help.

And please, do not tell me just to suck it up and PvP in RV. Just because I'm not into your pre-pubescent vulgar remarks during and after ganks, doesn't mean I'm any less of a player. I pay monthly just like you do, and I'll play how I want thank you.

I've had a similar experience on a much larger scale. I started out on Guardian about 3 years ago, when a few friends played. That's where I rolled all my toons (Had about 12 over there, including numerous 50s).

After about a year-and-a-half, my RL friends went on hiatus, and the server started to look like a wasteland. But I knew -everyone- on the server. I had roots in many of the grand Supergroups. But the bottom line was, it wasn't working for me anymore. It was an MMO without the 'MM' part, I could never find a team.

So I did the same as you, and scouted another server for shites and giggles. I came to Freedom, and Atlas Park was actually PACKED. On Guardian, there was no more than 5 people in Atlas at once.

So I made a decision that was hard: I moved all my main toons (i.e., most of them), over to Freedom during the free server transfers. I had my best friends on global so I could still keep in touch (And a few even rolled toons on Freedom after), bid fairwell to my SGs (Which were basically dead anyways), and made the move.

I've never looked back. Is it hard to leave a server you called home? Yes. Believe me, after a year and a half on Guardian and knowing just about everyone based on my frequent playstyle, it was very hard. Bottom line for me was, I pay a monthly price to PLAY the game with other people, not to stand around and hope theres enough people my level for me to start a group. Now, I never have that problem, and my roots here are now established, if not deeper, than they were on Guardian.

There's some good people here. Stay in contact with the old, but why not make some new and have FUN with the game? Talk some of your good friends into starting another Hero/Villain over here: It's not hard to convert when they see how lively it is.

Of course, my transfers were free which was a bit easier, but a transfer for one toon? I'd totally do it.

Sorry if this question has been answered before, my searches for such information has returned nothing.

Is there a way to lock entire windows in place? I got a lot of 'em, 7 full power trays, a map open full time, combat attributes, enhancements, insp, chat, nav, target....and one slip of the wrist and everythings outta whack.

I see how to lock powers in trays, that much is obvious. I need a way to lock EVERYTHING down. Please tell me there's a way to do such a thing?

First time in the hive a few years back. Decided to drop Cloak of Darkness. And this happened.

There is no "I" in Team! (teamwork or super group photo)



But there are 6 Shivans. Included chat window to include how many more were wasted. Never did win. This was back before the new difficulty system.

If you've never done this, I can lend a hand on telling you a few things that did/didnt work. Personally I got about 100 rep score in about 1.5 hours, but most people would have gotten more because I started out with a higher rep than everyone else.

However, I fell off the wagon. I never rescheduled a followup, been pretty busy with work(sorry guys). Im still sitting at about 200 and need to get to 400.

I would -absolutely- be interested in doing this, however, being EST, my hours might be a bit restricted during weekdays. I would have a lot to offer though, as youll get more rep outta me than most Keep me informed, and like stated, I can give ya some pointers if need be. I'd be more than happy to do these back-to-back nights, so the rep loss is minimal.

I'd take it that's why Ribosome Exposures are selling for 200 mill + these days. Anyone know what -normal- market value for those are? Been trying to get 4 of 'em, but I'd hate to overshoot on the price when the current demand is tenfold the supply.

Thanks for those that came out. Had a decent turnout. Had some trickle in later on in the evening that I'm not sure if they saw my post here, or just saw a group of farmers and decided to try for some reps/recipes.

We fine-tuned our productivity as we went, figuring out easier methods and better strategies for the farm. First hour went smoothly with no interruptions, next hour brought with it 3 stalkers, but upon asking nicely, they left us alone, so all in all a decent run. Some of you villains do have a heart after all

I started with 100 rep, so my intake was less than most everyone there, as most people started off with 0 or very little. 2 hours and got 100 rep and some change, so not too bad.

Now I come with a little different request. Now that I'm past the 200 mark, unless I get some people with higher rep ratings, my intake will be very slow and painful. Would anyone be willing to bring their PvP rating-capped toon to Warburg one of these days to help me out? I figure if I get 4 people with capped or close to capped toons, It'll only take me 45 minutes to grab my badge.

But hey, what would you get in return? Well, for the lame response, the good feeling that you've done something well for a fellow player. For some -actual- incentives, I have 2 options.

I'd love to do the same for one of your alts if theyre in need of the badge. Because Ill have capped rep, Ill be more than glad to come and help one of your toons out for helping me. Don't have any toons that'd benefit from some crumby PvP badge? I'd be willing to offer inf for your time. Like I said, less than an hour of your time. If you're interested in what I'm willing to pay, shoot me a PM.

I'd also like to invite back the few people that did show up to help me out. This run would be much faster, as youll be getting the max 6 points for kills, instead of 1. I know you all probably didn't reach your 400 last night, so we'll see if we can get ya there. So If I do get something set up, Ill shoot you all a PM so you can grab some fast rep too. To be honest, I only know of 2 from this thread that did show up. If you're not Rox or Master Blade and did show up, let me know which toon you were on, and Ill make sure to PM you with a new date.
