Rep Farm in Warburg (PvP badges for the non-PvPer)

Anyone interested in some sparring matches in Warburg for the rep badges? Doing so with 1 friend's pretty slow due to the rep timer, but with 4 or more, we can have this thing truckin' along.

I figure one person can grab a buddy, have one kill the other, then vise-versa. After that, we switch partners, rinse, repeat.

Maybe we could shoot for this Thursday (4/15) if we get enough people. 4 would be great. More would be fine.

Are you guys in need of the badges as well? Sounds as if you're just lending a helping hand (Which is in fact greatly appreciated), but I don't want to waste your time if you don't?

If we're gonna shoot for after 10PM EST, I might need to push it back one day till Friday, since on Thursday that'll be past my bedtime (Gotta Work in the wee hours of the AM)

If Friday at 10PM EST is fine, let me know! I'm sitting at 118 rep right now, and am in dire need of 400 to get all my healing badges (Before something bad happens to the way I'm looking to obtain them, knock on wood).

Well, here's my dilemma. For one, you can see the lack of interest in this sorta thing. 24 hours and 2 -potential- people interested. Can you imagine how much interest I would generate if I gave an even MORE vauge description? It's like saying you're gonna run a TF but not telling people when. How will they know if they're available?

I thought about what you're warning about. Worst comes to worst, we go there, find out there's a bunch of Freedumb's namesakes swarming, and we figure another time -in private- to meet. I was really hoping these forums would only be read by considerate people though, people who know the hardships of getting badges for ATs that don't excel in such instances.

May I ask -why- you're going to be there, to take advantage that's not in a good way? Pretty ignorant thing to say IMO, for a pretty harmless request by someone asking for help from the community. Just the way you worded that sounded malicious, in which case I have no remorse for my verbal attacks. I just think if you ARE going to do this, that it's sad you have nothing better to do on a Friday night then come ruin someones night.

I don't think he was trying to be mean. It's just a known fact that this is Freedom, and every single time something like this is posted with specifics, it *does* turn into a gankfest. It's kind of hard to badge when you are surrounded by PvPers wanting easy kills.

Most people who try to arrange this post their global name and ask for people to send them their global names. Or they exchange PM's here on the forums. It requires more work on your part to get it set up, but it really is in your best interest to not broadcast specific days, times and locations unless you *want* to be constantly killed while trying to badge.

You guys know these forums better than I do. Guess I was just being optimistic that I would get the same courtesy I extend to others when they're in need of help.

I'll get in contact with you guys shortly about a date and time. We should have enough for a productive run without anyone logging out and back in, unless they have reason to.

I'd be interested. UK time so it might not work out but if I can help out I will.

What about using the Freedom TF channel (Freedom Horde's) to attempt keeping this fomr becoming a PvP'ers slaughterhouse

Just to mimic a couple of previous posts, non-PvP events in PvP zones on Freedom may generally hang a neon sign on you that says "AS/shark me". When I see someone organize a heroside pillboxing, I'm usually on my stalker. They either pay attention to me or the turret. Alas, no drops yet.

p.s. When is the next hero pillbox event?

Thanks for those that came out. Had a decent turnout. Had some trickle in later on in the evening that I'm not sure if they saw my post here, or just saw a group of farmers and decided to try for some reps/recipes.

We fine-tuned our productivity as we went, figuring out easier methods and better strategies for the farm. First hour went smoothly with no interruptions, next hour brought with it 3 stalkers, but upon asking nicely, they left us alone, so all in all a decent run. Some of you villains do have a heart after all

I started with 100 rep, so my intake was less than most everyone there, as most people started off with 0 or very little. 2 hours and got 100 rep and some change, so not too bad.

Now I come with a little different request. Now that I'm past the 200 mark, unless I get some people with higher rep ratings, my intake will be very slow and painful. Would anyone be willing to bring their PvP rating-capped toon to Warburg one of these days to help me out? I figure if I get 4 people with capped or close to capped toons, It'll only take me 45 minutes to grab my badge.

But hey, what would you get in return? Well, for the lame response, the good feeling that you've done something well for a fellow player. For some -actual- incentives, I have 2 options.

I'd love to do the same for one of your alts if theyre in need of the badge. Because Ill have capped rep, Ill be more than glad to come and help one of your toons out for helping me. Don't have any toons that'd benefit from some crumby PvP badge? I'd be willing to offer inf for your time. Like I said, less than an hour of your time. If you're interested in what I'm willing to pay, shoot me a PM.

I'd also like to invite back the few people that did show up to help me out. This run would be much faster, as youll be getting the max 6 points for kills, instead of 1. I know you all probably didn't reach your 400 last night, so we'll see if we can get ya there. So If I do get something set up, Ill shoot you all a PM so you can grab some fast rep too. To be honest, I only know of 2 from this thread that did show up. If you're not Rox or Master Blade and did show up, let me know which toon you were on, and Ill make sure to PM you with a new date.
