  1. Am I not worthy to grace the collection?

No, is the actual answer to that, heh X3 Some very talented artists who I can't even compare to.
    Love the colour piece! =]

... I'm sorry, were you saying something about me dying as a squishy?
I couldn't hear either, I was too busy cackling as my TA/Archery Defender tore up whole mobs with burning oil slicks and blind shots.
  3. I'm much less fussed about S/L caps or even much shielding on a Domi, mostly because, especially with that I've seen of Elec, it's pretty hard to NOT lock everything around you down very quickly.
If possible, aiming for perma-hasten would be good. But, again, trying to slot everything with enough slots was proving incredibly difficult.

The biggest problem I face isnt really Sets/HOs, but levelling 1-47 and using regular SOs seems like a nightmare to me, with trying to find enough slotting to making powers effective, especially the AoE Hold which only starts with 60% acc.

  5. Just another mess around, and realised I was totally ignoring some very powerful enhancements...

Do people still use HO's? It seems mad not to. I know their pretty rare, but they still give unbelievable bang for the buck, all things considered.

How feasible does this build sound? It also ignores the actual 1-47 journey, which I still need to figuyre out how to slot...

  6. Also, given the powers don't exemplar down, it's very easy to say it's rleated to reacting to a greater threat that needs more equipment/bigger guns/more powerful spells/Moar Dakka! etc etc. Because its ONLY used for Incarnate content and level 50 stuff.
  7. I'd also request that the Ouro portal being used didn't, for some reason, cancel out anyone using the Missions TP in the same zone.
Most random bug ever, and it's still not been fixed.
  8. I just love the fact you've managed to make citizen models that look natural, not like the strange, mutated abominations we have on the streets atm.

Seriously, why can't the poor NPCs get an ultra mode too? And the kids! Tis awesome

The Major. Addicted to War. Which, in a way, makes a kinda sense. The right sort of sense for a Nazi Major with an army of vampires and werewolves at his disposal, really.
Hellsing was a fairly short series, to be fun. It was more meant to be fun/action packed rather than particularly deep, I think. Still fun though.

But that is another discussion somewhere. As long as such content doesn't take over, it doesn't do much harm. But now Heroes and Rogues(still counting as villains) and Vigilantes(still counting as heroes) and Villains can team for every kind of content. They are becoming one big hugging mass. Villains teaming with Heroes is fine and exciting as an exception, but it is becoming the norm.
True, but the Devs can't cover every single one of a hundred thousand different potential villains.
Also, while I would be objecting to Co-op becoming the norm, I really don't see Vigilantes and Rogues as 'getting all huggy'. They are either on their way to the other side anyway, and so count as Villains or Heroes respectively, or are simply working for their own ends. Vigilantes working with Villains long enough to kill a rogue Longbow agent, Rogues working with Heroes in exchange for a fat pay cheque.

Nothing 'huggy' in there, at least for me. It also allows for more teaming and RP choices, which is only a good thing in my books.

Well, I can't actually imagine you having a constructive discussion beyond "Im right and your wrong because I believe it, without proving anything and using a winky every other line."

I also can't imagine you even replying to a lot of points here, simply because you cannot actually prove any of the retorts to them.

Oh, the other one; I can't Imagine GG as a Hero. That is not the mind of a good person. Or even a sane one.

As per usual though it mostly ignores sexy sets, instead focusing on frankenslotting the cheap and easy ones I tend to thrive on, so it may not be suitable for you really.

For example I know that in my case I'm happy with Power Push, Power Blast and Power Burst slotted with 2 Ruin and 2 Thunderstrike : 2 Acc/Dam, 2 Dam/Recharge (and an extra recharge in Power Burst).

Ditto I always frankenslot my AOE Hold with Acc/Hold/Rech from Essence of Curate, GWs Embrace and Paralytic and top up with another 2 or 3 way from the hold set depending on what I can afford.

I don't really give a fig for Permadom or capped defenses on a Domi so i'm probably little use to you in this case (other than to say Elec/NRG is a very underestimated combo in general).
Yeah, slotting for perma-stuff I'm usually pretty good at...but I'm a little set in certain ways that means I find franken-slotting hard to do. Vanilla slotting is also a pain, because I want *everything* to be useable and effective, something quite hard to pull off at times. So any help is much appreciated.

And yeah, I saw the damage output on Energy, combined with a freaking power that boosts mez and other effects...like, early christmas much? XD

And, of course, if you're underground when you fire it, all you're doing is saving someone the trouble of digging your grave. Aurelian has none of those problems, but the distinction is purely an IC one. IC, is Aurelian not justified in considering his power superior?

Don't get me wrong, I plan to do something quite similar to explain Autumnfox's Judgement power (support fire from an off-screen gunship), which, IC, has even more limitations. I'm waiting to see how the power looks and works before I decide, though.
You underestimate the power of an orbital railcannon coupled with someone capable of using aimed portal technology
Orange portal opens, fire into it.
    Blue portal opens....Ka-BOOM!
    Or close enough

And yes, that's exactly what I've been using Warburg nukes for. T'be honest, I've only ever had a need to use them when I've been outside, thankfully. So I didn't actually have to drag out the portal-tech explanation (Or the trans-warp time portal one, either...)
It also explains why he uses it once in a blue moon. Those nine tonne shells cost a LOT, you realise?
Mind you, with all these increased-power capes running around, he may have to up his counter measures. To the level of, oh, I dunno...an orbital railcannon?
Round and round we go, where we'll stop, nobody knows...

  16. Really? No one? I keep seeing how people are sick of people going "I needz X/Y/Z buildz, someones make it foar me?!", yet I can't get any help with a build that I've actually mostly done, just cannot get the slotting right? Sad robot panda...

See, if you made all your posts that concise, I wouldn't end up snapping when I get a headache from trying to decipher your one liners...

Myeah, I can give you that, yes. But theres still no 100% proof guarentee that, in future, machines and computers may well advance to such a level as to be indistinguishable from a brain. The computers and such of the present day, yes; them becoming sentient is indeed a 0% chance. But just the same as people 200 years ago didnt have the technology to study and in turn replicate flight, theres nothing stopping people in the future from studying and crafting a computer capable of sentient thought.
Dismissing it totally is a very, very narrow minded view.
  19. I'm happy with the power choices I have in my build, but the slotting is giving me no end of trouble. I tried vanilla slotting, and that was just a nightmare. So I went straight onto set slotting in the hope that would help...and it doesnt.

How is one meant to slot Elec/Energy effectively (taking I19 Inherent Fitness into account) at all, with the slots and sets we have available?

    This is what I came up with so far. Any help would be hugely appreciated;

When you get down to the base, basest level...what is that other than a calculated response based on a range of available options?

I'm not saying we will 100% see sci-fi level AI anytime soon, or even ever. But just ruling it out as 'Its never going to happen'? Thats just...well, daft. What we think is impossible now might become reality in 200 years.
After all, if you'd said 200 years ago that you'd be able to fly anywhere in the world within a few hours, you'd have been locked up in an Asylum. Because, back then, flight was like us talking about sentient AIs.

If you are worried about selling it as a recipe, make it into an enhancement and you never have to worry about selling it at a store.

The devs have provided us with more then enough means of storage. I Would like to see an increase in the salvage storage limits though.
    1) Email deletes after x number of days. Its not a timeless storage solution.
    2) What if you dont have a SG? That totally negates that arguement.

It's just convenience. Why should any system in game be more of a hinderance to use than a help? (Like Respecs...)

    No, not really..
More because it's that sort of totally unbending believe in how utterly right you are, without compromise, that drives people to do insane things. Like Crusades, purges, holocausts...that kinda thing.

No one can argue with you. People can present well laid out, well reasoned arguements, and you'll either ignore them or simply quip it off.
For example, why is a sentient robot a 'crushingly stupid teenage boy fantasy'? You probably won't answer that, because your so convinced your right and other people are wrong.
Your the kind of person who is convinced their right and good...even when they stop being so.

  25. Y'know something, GG? Your scary. In a very, very unsettling way.
If you ever came to any position of power...say, President? I'd be the first to see you unelected...or forcibly removed. Because people like you should never be in positions like that. Honestly.
