Oro Portal Quality of Life Suggestion
Yep. That's a fantastic idea. Move that spawnpoint!
I'd also request that the Ouro portal being used didn't, for some reason, cancel out anyone using the Missions TP in the same zone.
Most random bug ever, and it's still not been fixed.
GG, I would tell you that "I am killing you with my mind", but I couldn't find an emoticon to properly express my sentiment.

While we're at it, can we PLEAAASE make the Ouro portal summoning while I'm flying? There's no reason for this power to be ground-only. I still have to summon it on the ground. Does it matter if I'm hovering an inch above it? The animation for that already exists.

I actually prefer appearing right next to it because when I'm using ouro as a quick travel path I like being able to go Atlas<click>Ouro<click>Peregrine. Rather than Atlas<click>Ouro<run run run click> Peregrine.
I have personally never experienced a bunch of people afk on the arrival pad. You must play on the lazyboy server.

Hi:
When we activate our Oro portal and click on it, we are transported to that mystical place and appear right next to the portal, one would use to leave the floating island. Could it be possible, that instead of appearing next to the portal at Oro we appear somewhere away from it? The reason I ask for this, there are times players port to Oro and go AFK, at times the entire area about the portal is heavely congested by AFK players and their pets; thus making it very difficult at times to click on the portal to go on. By having the players appear, say on the left side near the temple, they would be away from anything significant and not be on the way of other players. Hugs Stormy |

I understand the concern the Stormfront_NA is talking about, but frankly in the several years Ouroboros has been around I've only seen the area congested by AFK people a few times. I'd rather preserve the speedy travel capability of the way it works now than to try to "solve" a problem (or really a slight annoyance) that only happens once in a very long while.
This basically seems like a solution looking for a big enough problem to justify it.

If it were balanced right, people could warp in, turn around, click the portal, and zone out to new areas rapidly, but people who warp in and park (because afk or whatever other reason) would automatically slide downhill and collect somewhere away from the portal. They could walk back up the semi-slick hill to the portal easily enough when they return to controlling their characters.

Possible compromise solution: Keep the Oro spawnpoint and exit-to-other-zones portal next to each other, but put them on a mound or hill that's slick like the ice in the Frostfire mission, or better yet, semi-slick.

I'm not totally sure it would be practical, but it is a clever idea.

This would be the main reason I would /sign against this idea.

Actually - give them other things to do. Add a Wentworths/BM Mender off to one side.
