That or a meatgrinder on the portal border, as it were. The Praetorians push, Primals push back, just stopping it from spilling over into Earth proper outside of the contact zones.

I'm just still pissed off at Ubi in general, and in how they treat PC players as second-rate citizens. I'm still fuming mad they never released the Prince of Persia DLC for the PC, and it's been two years now.
At least Assassin's Creed will EVENTUALLY come to the PC. Unlike those ******** at Capcom who will never, EVER release Marvel vs. Capcom for the PC, even though they released SF4, which I consider to be a VASTLY inferior game.
Feh!

I'd say on par with the Rikti War. I'd also assume that more depth to the Invasion is gonna happen at a late date, so treating it as an ongoing event is probably the best course of action.
As to Praets coming to Primal; whoever said they had to be allowed?
The Isles for one still has lax security on the borders.
I think people will have figured out that Resistance sympathisers aren against the Invasion, or at least that data should have filtered back through via Vanguard and others.
My only active Praet gets away with actually being a Primal who nipped over there, and yhas only just twigged that theres something bad in the air (or the water

Quote:I mean on the 360, you nimrodYeah, man. I keep experiencing that nasty bug that makes the game no available on the PC. I thought it was just me, but no, it's pretty common. Seems to be affecting all PC players I've spoken with. Weird thing, that.
Also:

The only reason I turned on the PC was because I was hacked off with losing the best armour in game with no known way to get it back, until Ubisoft patch the game again. -

T'be honest, don't be surprised if you get booted again or whatnot until the maintenance window is actually over.
EU sure isnt till 6pm, so Im waiting till then.
Wouldnt be so bad if AC: Brotherhood hadn't just glitched out and stolen the best armour in the game from me....bloody thing. I mean, of ALL the bugs I could get, it had to be one like that. -
Meh. 'No response from Server' here.
Still, it IS I19, I know from that damn gfx drivers thing.
Might go check the Nvida site, see if theres anything to it.
I19 Mids now, please?

Love the top right one. I wish we could use Katanas/Ninja blades like that. So very awesome

You're not serious, right?
Trip mine is the least broken power in Devices, and is simply awesome in Traps. My Bots/Traps main, Alpha, will literally walk up and down on your stomped, charred corpses before anyone touches his toe-bombing trip mines. -
Quote:You touch my freaking Trip Mine over my cold, broken, dsyfunctional chassis, when you pry it from my steely, lifeless fingers!I'd actually like to see both Trip Mine and Time Bomb be changed into something which is useful in combat, even if that means just faster deployment and no interrupt like how Acid Mortar is.

Seriously, there is nothing wrong with Trip Mine. Toe-bombing works perfectly well in a team, is great for slapping on EBs/AVs and even some bosses. Alpha is packing enough defence that he tends to use it at least twice per fight.
Time Bomb sucks, we all agree. But Trip Mine stays! ¬¬ -
Quote:My screenshot function seems to refuse to work in the CC window, so instead I use the 'Snipping Tool' that comes built into Win 7. Alt-tab, select that, then select what you want to 'snip' as a screenshot. Should work. Thanks for the advice guys, but I'm not okay with loading up a new program or fiddling with my system for such a small problem - in the tech problem section I was told that I could correct this by disabling something in Win 7, which I'm not comfortable with.
And yes, I've tried pasting the screenshot into Paint, Word and IrfanView. -
It's a piece of junk. Period. Has been for ages now. It seems to love refusing money when you want to give it >_<

I gave my arguements against your points in another Stamina related thread, Ultimo, and they, along with others points, seemed to simply be ignored.
Hence my somewhat blaze dismissal. I've been trying to make points against brick wall posters too much recently, and have finally reached my limitbreak move; Moar Pictures!

Quote:Tic tic tic BOOM!my dream for Time Bomb is to turn it into a sticky grenade with a timer.
you chuck it at a foe, roll to hit, if you succeed the timer starts. whatever they do, wherever they go, when the timer hits zero BOOOOOOOM!
this was inspired by the fun I had with the Semtex grenade in MW2.
I approve of this idea.
Either that, or make it similar to Omega Maneuver from the Crab sets, in that you can summon it at range. Even if that was the ONLY change to it, it'd be much, much better than it is now. -
I just wish civilians walked around us by default.
Seriously lame that they treat us like we don't exist...and have the power to do so =/ -
Assassins Creed Brotherhood allows you to carry around heavy weapons permanently once you buy the right sort of holder for them. One of these includes a big axe, which just hangs down in the same place a sword would.
It's not too much of a disconnect. After all, they managed it in medieval and renaisance times. -

Yeah, I do think the Vigilante missions are probably the least well written/balanced of the lot. Rogues, Heroes and Villains missions all sit fine with me, but I would agree with the Vigilantes coming off more as 'Jerks' than actually, y'know...Punisher/Batman type characters. It's pretty much like you're already decided to run, skip and jump into villainy, which doesnt really work for me either.
That said, I'm not actually keeping any of my characters at Vigilante, because none of them really are
True cut Heroes, Villains or Rogues, no vig's though. *shrug*
-
Quote:That makes sense though.Off the top of my head, there's one mission that has you save Scrapyarder leaders from Arachnos, one mission that has you find a cure for a mobster and one mission which has you save a wealthy man from the Family. I don't recall seeing a single mission to save anything in any of the vigilante tips I've seen.
Rogues are either on their way to Hero, thinking "Hey...saving people is kinda...it makes me feel good, y'know? Maybe all this seediness ain't worth it?"
Whereas Vigilantes are more on the path to "Y'know what? T'hell with the law...they all suck anyway. But this? Breaking peoples faces in, because I can? This is much more fun..."
So, it kinda does work. At least, it's always worked out ok for me =] -
