Solo, I always run at 0x1 -bosses -AVs, because I am boring and like to feel powerful, even on my crappy soloists. Very few of my chars have bumped their difficulty. Generally only MMs.

In teams, I try to keep it at +1 to +2. I start at +1 and go up if we're OK with the warmup. If I'm on a team of just friends, I skip +1 and go straight to +2. All my friends can handle it without a warmup.

Packing a DXP weekend in there seems folly, but no real reason not to (there's precedence with the second DXP). No word yet either way. BTW, there isn't really any "regular" January DXP weekends... only 2/3 were in January (second was in February), so you can't call it "regular".

No, Chronologist is a SECOND chance at a recipe at the end of a mission. No idea what the chance for Chronologist is. I don't think anyone has hammered out details on the chance of regular Mission Drops.

My favorite global channel uses a Ventrilo server paid by one of our members. It's ridiculously good quality (everyone I've met IRL sounds exactly like they do on Vent). It's one of the higher codex thingies, though, so that does have something to do with it.

It completely changes the way we play the game. Teams without Vent are more cautious (even though we've been playing together for years) than teams with Vent (which we blast through dudes without even looking at our health bars or which direction we're going).

More tokens are awarded seven days after the use of a token. Frex, if you use a token on Friday, you'll get a token the next Friday.

My boyfriend and I got WoW authenticators after he had his account hacked by gold farmers. We are very careful with our passwords. Not to mention he uses that particular password ONLY for WoW, and I'm the only other person who knows it. We're not security noobs, and it happened to him. So yeah, we got our authenticators (if you buy from Blizzard, there is no shipping charge, regardless of where you live, btw, you only pay for the authenticator itself) immediately.

The day NCsoft/Paragon offers an authenticator, I'll be buying three (for my two accounts and one for him) without hesitation, regardless of the fact that City has far, far less hacking going on. Besides being more secure, it's giving money to the game and company I love.

I use the wiki to track my chars. Beyond that, I don't. Hell, even that list is out of date. Missing a couple characters, a few characters are higher level now, transferred servers a few times, I think I deleted a char or two... etc.
