So you dont have a physical copy or game? I bought mine at store and code was on a vip access card found in the game box. I am not sure where it would be when bought online? I hope you find it though.

Edit: If the website doesn't send you a physical box i'd expect the code to be emailed to you, or if you've already created an NCsoft master account you should be able to apply it in account management. i think.

If you digitally downloaded it through NCsoft; then (with the payment for the GvE Edition) it should either automatically applied to your Master Account, OR a Serial Number will be emailed to your email address you registered your Master Account with. I'm not 100% sure since it has been a long time since I first registered my account after having bought a Serial Code online.
Now, if you digitally downloaded through another Service (like Steam), you should receive an email with the Activation Code at the email account you registered/bought the download with.
I worry when I read "I just bought the City of Heroes Good Versus Evil pack from the NC Soft website", and hope that you didnt just buy the "City of Heroes® Good Versus Evil Edition In-Game Item Pack" which is not the game, but the 'extras' from the GvE Edition for those who originally bought the game as another Edition.

Hi,
I just purchased the Martial Arts pack from the NcSoft store and after it accepted payment I had to go to the "Activate(maybe it was "Apply") Serial Code" page accessed through my main NcSoft account.
When I got there, the serial code was already input (it was a series of xxx-xxx and four numbers on the end).
I just ticked the box (assume there can be more than one dependant on how many things you purchase?) and applied it.
At no time did I get an e-mail or other form of notice of my serial number.
Go and have a look at your account as it is probably there already waiting to be applied.

If they're posting on the forums, they have a master account, since you must have an active account to post on the forums.
Log into Master Account. Your serial code should be sitting in the "Use a Serial Code" section of the master account page.

Okay, so here's the step by step of what I'm doing. If it's something simple I'm gonna feel like a moron.
- Go to NCsoft account management
- Click on "Use a Serial Code"
- I have the choice of entering a serial code or clicking on:
- I select the City of Heroes one because as I stated before, I have no idea
where my serial code is (It certainly hasn't been emailed). - I'm magically whisked away to a page that states "To create your new
City of Heroes® account, choose an account name and password." One
of my options here is to use my NCsoft account name and password as
my CoH log in. I ecstatically click the "Create Game Account" Button
because who likes typing out a new username anyway? - Aaaand we're taken full circle back to this:
I don't have this information.
Update: I tried purchasing the magic booster pack to see if it could do something like force my first serial code back into existence (Like, Oh you purchased the game and you're trying to add an upgrade to it, but you haven't registered the game yet, so do you wanna do that now?). But unfortunately all it really did was say "well, you can't add a booster to a game that isn't registered; so you gotta wait." Lame, I want to get out of this trial account and into the wonderful world of being able to talk back to people.
Do you have a trial account?
If so, then you shouldn't be making an account, but upgrading the trial.
Go to your CoH/V account page. on the Right side of all pages is a box listing your accounts and a few other things. Click on your CoH/V icon (I've circled mine in yellow).
On the page, click upgrade account (circled in red).
Please note I've blanked out all personal references to my own account - for example, in the circled yellow area it will have your account name.

When you decide to continue your subscription, I'd suggest you check out buying a Mac Edition serial code, or an AE edition serial code, as you'd get the month (usually $15), and some extra goodies (usually $10) for $20.
Warning, though, you can only apply one of each edition code to a single account.

And as for whether to go AE or Mac edition, the best solution is to compromise and get both.
I, personally, would recommend the OP get the Cyborg Pack if they buy the AE version, because if they select the Magic Booster, the code would be wasted on a Booster they already have (see earlier post from OP), and then they would get NO goodies from the AE version.
