Not sure if this has been covered, but does "Reveal" reach beyond a certain floor? Like, if I use Reveal on the first floor of an office building, will the other four floors be revealed as well? -
Revamped content for 1-20 on both sides. RPG-style choices.

I16 contains power customisation, difficulty customisation and more power set proliferation than many of us know what to do with. Small? Are you bloody insane?

I get that feeling from Croatoa. I didn't grow up in a log cabin, and I didn't have red caps in my yard, and there wasn't a plesiosaur in the lake, but it does feel very much like a place you'd remember from any childhood fantasy story.

so just got to level 12 on my claw/da scrapper on virtue and so far my experience has been pretty good.
1-8 i basically did solo, but once i moved into hollows i got invited to some mission running teams and this is where the real fun is. I shot up to 12 really quickly.
I like the combat since it usually quick and has a lot of eye candy when you have a big group of people attacking the same things.
I love the look of the hollows, so much better running around there then Atlas park.
The only thing i wish there was more of, is chatter in broadcast. All i usually see if everyone looking for AEs.
Anyway, if anyone is on and is bored and whats to group my names Aiion see you guys in game!

The "face" in the Shadow Shard. I found it by accident one day and couldn't find it again. It was kinda eerie. Like Easter Island, only creepier.

Maybe he just ended up ignoring everyone who posted in that one farming thread that went for a dozen pages
[/ QUOTE ] He ignores anybody that doesn't agree with him. He actually stated that once. Personally, I think people like him shouldn't be allowed to interact with others.
[/ QUOTE ]
Give him time. If he continues to ignore people, he won't have a chance to. -

You a "farmer" that I already have on ignore making a post about "gold farmers" is ironic.
When you are part of the problem is is hard to see what the solution has always been, but then again - I've been saying it for months now.
[/ QUOTE ]
I'm a farmer? When did this happen?
[/ QUOTE ]
The chappy who's got you on ignore is one of those zealous anti-farmer types. I'm on ignore too because I defended farming. Maybe he just ended up ignoring everyone who posted in that one farming thread that went for a dozen pages (yeah, that one.. not the other ten billion, that one) -
[ QUOTE ]
Really? Then why did you jump down my throat?
[/ QUOTE ]
Because with the rates the RMTers charge, do you really think anyone would buy such a worthless IO for such Inf? That thing would've been, what, 60 bucks with their rates?
If someone did do that, they'd likely have a couple billion on that one character, and they'd likely have earned it themselves instead of buying it.
I jumped down your throat because you blamed a bunch of players for what you perceived as idiocy, without looking at all possible facets of the issue. Even if inf transfers didn't exist, you cannot sit there and claim even an AE noob would be stupid enough to pay that much for one enhancement without being completely sure it was the CoH/V equivalent of the Ultimate Bear Sword of +99 Awesomeness. -

Maybe because they had no experience with the topic and couldn't possibly have known anything.
[/ QUOTE ]
They knew enough to blame the evil farmers. *ahem* AE babies.
[/ QUOTE ]
It's nice to know you have such love for others who haven't thought of every angle or option.
So I'm guessing you support the RMT people in selling their Inf and PL services, you probably wouldn't be defending them so if you didn't.
[/ QUOTE ]
I support the farmers who earn their Inf. RMT is not the issue at hand.
Everyone has a right to play how they want. If you don't like it, well, I really doubt they give a damn. -

While searching for posts to rage at, I came across something that shocked me.
These assumptions!
Now, us normal posters would never assume that the person is a noob and a farmer and a whole lot of other things, because even farmers and noobs have the sense not to waste two hundred and forty three million on a cheap-o Uncommon set.
I checked the other posts in this thread, and noone else arrived at the same arrrrggghevilfarmersgah conclusion that you did; but you still managed to.
Post-strapped young posters don't typically arrive at these biased conclusions; and veteran posters have the sense to realise that this topic has been beaten into the ground. The only conclusions I can come to is that this is someone who refused to look at the obvious rational explanation, preferring instead to further his or her own biases by blaming teh ebil farmerz.
How would a poster lack such sense? I seriously doubt someone hit them upside the head to cause that much brain damage, and I've hit so many people upside the head I nearly know the max jail time by heart.
Way back when AE arrived, the anti-farmer bias started showing up en masse. Before there hadn't been too many or were that bothersome. When they all showed up the boards went bonkers. The posts with SUBSTANCE suddenly went from few and far between to a complete non-existence. My efforts to reinvigorate the CoH/V boards went down the tubes. Shocking, etc.
How can we help the biased ones not come to these ridiculous and utterly absurd conclusions based on no evidence and thin assumptions? I don't have any worry that the trend will continue, but if this continues as things did when the ED dweebs arrived, it could mean trouble for the posters above "Legend". Maybe even Super-Powered at that, I'm not sure.
Does anyone have a freakin' clue? -
This marks the.. 11th post that b_i totally doesn't care about.

Replace Power Blast with Bonesmasher.

I didn't want changes because every toon or aspect of the game Castle has touched that I enjoy has led to retirement or deletion. (recently - blasters, pvp, and my stormies)
He did a decent job on doms in that they aren't really that different, just less peaks and valleys in performance and leveling. IMO this is by FAR his best work yet.
[/ QUOTE ]
What wrong w/ Stormies? >.> Also, don't forget the Stalker buffs ^.^
[/ QUOTE ]
I'm going to guess the Hurricane nerf. Back when base PvP was still seriously considered, Castle was worried about people getting pinned into corners with repel effects like Hurricane. So.. he decreased the tick rate from one every.. .25 seconds I believe? To once per second... something like that. Anyway, critters stopped being repelled by Hurricane properly. Killed my Storm/Elec too. -
It's okay. Better now with the Blaster changes, but I think something needs to be done with Sparky. I have him on my Corruptor, and even with Scourge I find myself not bothering with him.
One thing about Elec is that it's very end efficient. With the drain-back effect, Elec is the Claws of the Blaster primaries. -

Probably only Energy Melee beats it out now for single target burst.

First time I did this one live, someone asked "We can't beat him, right?" and someone who had done it before said, "Right" and *I* said, "If it bleeds, we can kill it." And was laughed at. Seeing as how I was the only one who thought it'd be fun though, I dropped it.
[/ QUOTE ]
Well, he didn't bleed... you get unaffected messages. Unless, of course, you zap him with that Grounding Ray thingy. -

CONFIRMED
I reported this on Monday night. We had a scheduled STF event on Freedom with 3 teams running simultaneously. It ended in Epic failure!
The TF as a whole was fine, but the repairmen healed the tower every time, regardless if they died or not. It seems there was a slight AI change that makes foes use healing powers sooner and more often, and it causes them to begin healing the tower before they are even targetable, which means it still gets healed for over +3000 even if you kill them immediately.
Somebody else reported actually completing the STF later that night, but it took longer, and a couple towers were rebuilt repeatedly for the same reason, and they had to be taken down again. I guess it's still possible, but it can be a pain in the neck if you don't have a way to kill the repairmen sooner. I have not personally attempted again since that night.
And by the way, several of us did already /bug and /petition, and we got confirmation from GMs that it was an unintended bug being looked into.
[/ QUOTE ]
Sorry, but this is wrong. This is not a bug. This is a change with unexpected ramifications.
Normally, when you or an NPC activates a power, then dies before the power affects its target, the power won't affect the target at all. They made it so powers activated just prior to death will still affect the target.
Since the Repairman heal is uninterruptible and was only stoppable by death, this has made the Repairmen capable of healing the towers every time they pop out. That's upwards of 6k hp healed, when the tower spawns two.
