Because, yanno... they never include bug fixes in issues or post-patches at all.
Nope. Never. Doesn't happen.
Just because they don't advertise with the big stuff that they're working on a problem, doesn't mean they're totally ignoring it. Some stuff isn't just a simple, magical fix - there has to be consideration to get it fixed properly and hopefully not break something else in the process. Sometimes that takes a few tries.
There's at least a few bug fixes going out with i15, though whether you think they're of any import is another issue altogether.
...for the record, my rig is significantly inferior to yours and I haven't crashed since i14 was up on Test (and then mostly it was due to stuff that was crashing quite literally everyone else). So not sure what the problem is there. -

Most used? Whoever just happens to be closest. Until I hit 50, I don't usually make any specific effort to go and hunt down anyone in particular, and never have. -

Fun factoid: Telekinetic Blast only does 20 less damage (base) then Bitter Ice Blast. Which in turn does 19 less damage then Blazing Arrow, and 10 more damage then Power Burst and Shout (which does 10 more then Telekinetic Blast).
The biggest difference? Blaze, Bitter Ice Blast, and Telekinetic Blast all fire off in 1s of animation time, and Telekinetic Blast adds a KB component and an additional 40' of range.
Weird, no?
EDIT: And Blaze does 66 more damage then TK Blast (46 more then Bitter Ice Blast), for comparison's sake. -

Also - color changing is coming *before* Going Rogue, as in the next issue (Issue 16).
Going Rogue is *not* Issue 16, per Positron. (Linky).
[/ QUOTE ]
Not really. Going Rogue is *not* an issue, it is an expansion. So Going rogue would come in between issues whether it be between i15 and 16 or i16 and 17 or further down the line..

Technically, don't all issues come between other issues?

>> Sheesh. People'll nitpick anything.
The time point, though, is actually a valid one. 'Ample time' means different things to different people, but I absolutely despise when people expect the lowest possible time, then ditch when they don't get it. Or they know that the TF takes at least X amount of time, but they know they can only be around for Y, and then dump on you in the middle. :/
The TF Average x 2 time was just a general guideline I try to use specifically for the majority of TFs (which can be done in around 1.5 to 2 hours for the most part, though obviously exceptions apply).
The flight thing is just silly, though, and doesn't deserve much more consideration beyond that. :P

Oh I knew what you meant. I was bored and needed time to kill while I waited for the coffee to brew. It did and I had some, and a bagel. Then I forgot I had posted in this thread until this point in which I'm sitting here waiting for coffee to brew. I would like, at this time to denounce the need for going back to the moon in favor of creating a process that can instantaneously turn a coffee bean into coffee while it's sliding down my throat. That or coffee gummy bears. Really, I'm good either way. So yeah, just me being a caffeine deprived doosh.

To get around and kill things within the shard?
Well, that's rather vague honestly. Someone with Teleport or at the very least Fly (Fly may be better because of the ludicrous distances you have to cross, and teleport might not be able to handle it despite it being faster, though Teleport has Recall which anyone else in the shard with you will love you for), not a defense-based character due to the Observers having ridiculously accurate attacks, some form of crowd control would help a lot... Fire or Cold damage is all that really bypasses their resistances... I'd have to say Fire/something scrapper. Fire/Something that isn't Shield, SR, or Invul.
[/ QUOTE ]
It is a bit vague, yuh. I'd say a Fire or Ice blaster would probably not be horribly off either, or a controller, though it would almost certainly be a lot trickier.
Though if you're just looking for someone to TF run, then it really doesn't matter all that much (though the comments about travel powers is probably the most significant bit). -
I RP whenever, wherever I am, so long as the team I'm with (or the people I'm around) seem RP_OK. Which doesn't seem to happen all that often outside of my SG (But then, I'm a loner, and I rarely if ever team with anyone else anyway).
That said, if you see me on, and I'm not otherwise busy doing whatever it is I decide on doing... I'm usually up for stuff. Though if I don't respond (I almost always respond to /tells), I probably just (or am in the process) of logging out to switch characters or do something else.

I was thinking that, it would be a good idea for an anime/manga themed expansion pack for this game. Also if this idea would be a boster pack that people would buy, part of a future issue or something else.
[/ QUOTE ]
My knee-jerk reaction is: Oh, hells no!
With a bit of thought though, I don't think it would be horrible to add as a Booster. That way Paragon Studios can net some cash from the Japan-ophiles and I won't have to look at as many ridiculous anime-inspired characters as if it were free.
Basically, I am against adding in any random niche items to the game, just because another game/movie/comic/manga or whatever has them. This is, after all, a game based off American comic books.
[/ QUOTE ]
Fixed that up a bit for you, mang. As I'm pretty sure an -ophobe (someone phobic) wouldn't be paying money for something they're afeared of!
In regards to the OP... Could we get some more specific ideas as to what would constitute the rest of the expansion beyond costuming? I mean, I'm totally behind more costume stuff, but more things go into an expansion then that!
Honestly, I'd love to see more/better 'schoolgirl' and uniform options then what we have now (Jay, sweetie. The old things don't do your newer 'civvie' stuff justice through existance!), and maybe some more asymmetrical and different armoring options.
And boots. Definately need more boots. -
The only must-haves I require on any team I do are the following:
-Commitment towards getting the TF done
-Ample time to see the TF through - if you know you have to leave after X time, make darn sure X is twice the 'average' for the TF just to be on the safe side
-A team-friendly attitude: If you're going to be a snarky, whiny, controlling sod, go find someplace where that crap flies. Only things that fly here are birds, planes, bugs, and the morons I punt into the distance for disrupting the mood.
Anything else doesn't really matter that much to me, though there have been some instances where we've hit problems with TFs where we didn't have the necessary stuff to pull it off in the end (Ghost Widow on a 6-man STF of mostly melee characters comes to mind), but everyone there had all three points down. -

Does the quantifier 'as often' mean nothing to people?
[/ QUOTE ]
Yes, as I said though it would still be worse. You would either kill the st chain, lose the only hard control, or delete what is a nice opener for a heavily ranged set.
Yes with psi scream it would be about average in AOE, but still deficient with everything else. Its secondary effect -rech is slightly better than the same from ice but there is no slow to go with it. Its very hard to leverage that secondary because its not consistently applied by the powers.
Then there is the whole binary nature of psi being resisted.
If you put psi scream into the set you would have more people taking it and coming onto the boards saying its bad or more people saying oh its wonderful.
Oh P.S. I left out rain of fire because I was trying to compare like to like within the sets.
[/ QUOTE ]
I think it'd really depend what you dropped for it - though it would leave the problem of how to shuffle the set and what to do with Mental Manipulation at this point that would really make more people upset then just adjusting Psychic Blast will in the end.
And I brought up Rain of Fire because it's the exact same thing as Ice Storm, with the same DoT duration, and recharge. Bringing up one and not bringing up the other kind of skews the results. :/
I think it's unlikely that they're going to change Psy too much at this point, but there really needs to be something done. The secondary effect not being applied to everything is also an issue I hadn't thought about, but it's a good point.
As for the Single-Target chain... I've already run the numbers on it. Dropping Will Domination out would put it just under Archery and Energy Blast (by 9-10 points) and still superior to Sonic, AR, and Elec, while dropping out Psionic Dart would create some gaps in it's attack chain until recharge could be added in (adjusting the recharge on it's ST chain at that point would probably put it back to the first chain's damage... which may not be that bad, but you'd have even more people complaining about Will Domination being gutted, and additional complaints about TK Blast and Mental Blast getting a similar treatment despite the fact it'd still be a competitive ST chain) with the added point that it still cycles it's initial burst a full second faster then any set short of Ice and Fire (which starts to matter the more recharge you throw into the equation).
I personally think the inclusion of Psionic Dart and moving Psychic Scream out was a big mistake, though the moving of Subdual was really to be expected (as it's the only Psi-typed immobilize in the game). Though I probably wouldn't object to them moving Psionic Lance out (which would make it more similar to Ice and Sonic, two sets that also don't feature snipes) without losing any real, solid control (despite the fact it doesn't have anything reliable outside of TK Blast and Scramble Thoughts - I'd like to see that changed as well).
But that's all just my thoughts on how I'd shuffle things, and clearly Castle had a different opinion when he originally made the set... Bit late to really change it now, though, with the 'cottage rule' in effect. -

Last time I did Doc Q (read: 2 years ago) we got it done in 3 and a half hours, even with me and the other SR scrapper having a contest to see who could get killed by the eyeballs the most.
We both tied at 22. Thankfully, our team seemed to be amused enough by our antics to keep rezzing us.

Solve the equation in the asteriods and hitting that number key broke the asteroid into smaller ones As for the tile thing, its a visual icon test, it presents you with subtly different versions of a popular icon, like Facebook or RSS feed and you have to pick the correct one.

...Now I feel dumb (though it looked like a Facebook tile, which would explain why I got it wrong).
Though, most of the stuff I miss is because I tend to either overcomplicate it or I'm just not familiar with the information enough to make a proper judgement. So it's al good.
