My plan is to bring both accounts into Freedom and try to get it to crash so hard you can see it from space.

Quote:It's not really a badge. It's a placeholder in the badge listings for the power.Sooo i dun goofed. I traded in this badge for a Notice of the Well, which i got 4 shards for when i converted THAT. Any way I can get that badge back if i do Morty Kal's SF again, or am I doomed to never get that badge back?
Cuz 4 shards for a badge = not a good deal.
When you did the SF, you got the badge for the SF called Promethean. You still have that. -

Quote:Actually, I wish that was the case. But even with one character, the GFX is too much when you see power aura layered over power aura layered over buff auras layered over the character's own costume aura. The FX in this game appear to have been designed as if the initiating character is the only thing on the screen.
Each aura is designed as if it were going to be the only aura running on screen without a care of not only what other players were going to be running, but without caring what else may be running on the same character.
I can sympathize with all the GFX artists who want each GFX they create to be a *wow* moment. But you can't have a single toon running around with ten *wow* auras at the same time. IT LOOKS UGLY. UGLY. UGLY. That's the one thing I know artists don't want to hear, but you can't layer a Michelangelo over a Monet over a Van Gogh over a Picasso and think it's only going to get prettier with each overlay. In the end, it will be a grey and brown washed-out mess.
GFX effects need a big splash when enabled, and then they need to fade away, even when the toggle or buff is still running, otherwise it will always be GFX overload. -
Quote:Yes, that's true for the Ascension Armor, but everything else the official announcements and you devs have been saying seem to indicate that is *not* true for the non-Ascension Armor pieces. The Incarnate (Empyrean/Astral) Merit Rewards are account-unlocked. Once you have one unlocked for one character on an account, you have unlocked it for all. You will need to be level 50 to use the Ascension Armor costume parts, but every character on the account will have it ready once they get to that level.
There is talk of a character *claiming* a *voucher* through *email*. Isn't that for all the other costume pieces? Isn't that also the case for recipes bought with Incarnate Merits? If these are account-wide awards, then why bother with a voucher system?
Please be very clear about this: If I buy the Ice Trail Aura with Incarnate Merits, are you saying that the Ice Trail Aura will be unlocked on all toons from creation and level 1 and onwards? -

How does that even work?
I've never seen something like that...
Anyone want to put on their science cap and explain this to the class?

Quote:That might be what the Devs think about folks who don't want SB.Agreed on the silly injoke aspect. I was assuming this was just the devs messing in the uStream chat. Are they actually intending this to be controlled via talking to a seagull?
I though the Null the Gull thread was worth a chuckle and all, but this is just daft.
They could have stuck Baby New Year there instead with dialogue about how he's going to teach you how to take baby steps.

From Black Scorpion on tonight's Ustream:
Ascension Armor: The one and only set of costume pieces limited to level 50. Unlock it once and all your 50s can use it. (According to Tunnel Rat, the pieces come with or without their own aura. Which means you can combine the Ascension Armor Aura with another Aura.)
All other auras and costumes in 20.5: Bought with Incarnate Merits. The bought piece is gleemailed to your global. Any one of your alts can claim it at which time it is unlocked for that alt of any level.
Group Fly and Team Teleport Prompt/Options: (Reading in between the lines of his cryptic answer about it...) If he finds the time, he'll do it. But it may not happen if he doesn't have the time or the powers that be nix it because it wasn't an official decision of the group. -

Quote:I imagine they mean *Northern* Lights as in...Well, the list is in alphabetical order. And the criters would have to spawn at level 50. I was hoping for Cabal, but that wouldn't fit. Council? Freaks? Circle of Thorns? Clockwork (psychic)?
Ah well.
WTH are Polar lights, though? Just random globs of energy? That's pretty neat. And YAY, Phantoms, finally i can make my Mind/Kin the Illu/mind hybrid i always imagined her as!

Man, a bunch of them in Lord Winter's realm can totally wipe the whole map unless you take care of them with the way they can floor your Defense. -

The Devs are using this naming convention...
Issue #: Name
And so we have:
- Issue 19: Alpha Strike
- Issue 19: Strike Pack
- Issue 20: Incarnates
- Issue 20: Incarnates Ascend
Players are using:
- Issue 19
- Issue 19.5
- Issue 20
- Issue 20.5
The Player nomenclature will come into trouble if there are two interstitial Issues between major Issues. E.g., let's say the Devs release the next Incarnate Trial with a named issue release before Issue 21 and call it: Issue 20: Incarnates Descend
Will we call it Issue 20.6? -
The answer is to make a second build for low level play with cheap frankenslotting IOs. Forget about IO set bonuses and only go for special procs as needed.
Slot powers from levels 1-32 with 5 or 6 slots over-enhancing them to 150+% levels. Then, when you do a Posi, it will be like you're at level 15 but with SOs.
For powers that come at levels 33+ and higher, pick utility powers that don't need extra slotting like Vengeance or Team Teleport or Grant Invisibility, etc... This way, that build is still practically good at level 50 since you'll have a very well slotted attack chain and cool utilitarian powers. This way, you can switch builds to recharge some long-charging powers like Mission TP or Assemble the Team.
And who knows, maybe being able to finished a bugged mission will depend on you switching to your low level build to use TP Foe to pull that critter out from behind the wall. -

Quote:No. That's not on an automated script. That was a run-once script after the diverger. If someone transfers to an EU Server then transfer back to a US server will they get the Passport badge?
The devs have said that they will make Passport available for all in some other way in a future issue. -
Quote:You mean, like Hamidon until the Greens and/or Pylon are down? Or the Thorn Tree until the vines are down? From the guide:
Defeating Anti-Matter while you are still trying to lock down any reactor leads to utter annihilation and failure of the Incarnate Trial.
So, we have an AV who will be pounding us that we can't attack/fight until the end? I see a lot of nerdrage coming

Without time elapsed info, number of shards info is useless.

Quote:The immensely overpowered bugged version also negatively affected players with the freakin huge imbalance it introduced.Just replying to support this position. Amazing that so many people are OK with the implementation of a fix that is known to be bugged in a way that negatively affects players rather than sucking it up and delaying the patch until such time as the fix could be done properly.

We've been asking for a standalone cc for 6 years.
