Post 40 CoH, your character has evolved to the point of epic power- your "secondary mutation" has kicked in, you can now control the earth, you have control over your own body to perform epic feats of endurance or accuracy, etc, etc, etc....
Post 40 content for CoH is worth the reward. You gain power that makes even the most harden villian quake in their boots.

Post 40 CoV, you are working to get......dark blast?, A pet? A single target hold? Chum spray? Spirit sharks? A mace? Sorry, a Mace? I have the spider smasher badge, if my villian had wanted a mace she would HAVE a mace by now. There is nothing epic to me about the P3s, you won't make the heroes quake in their boots.....they'll just laugh at you as they cave your head in and then sell your pet to the highest bidder in the zig. In CoV, your post 40 evolution is dependant on the patron of your choice, but not really because the P3s are mostly the same across the board.

Someone posted that you need the APP's in Coh because of the threat you face- that is freaking COOL! This tells me though for the post 40 content in CoV you will be facing things that will not be all that spectacular.

And I don't need to wait and see to find out what dark blast does, I know what it does, I can go to SC and get a web grenade if I want a single target hold. I know how a pet handles.

I agree with the OP in every regard.....'cept for the limited costume options....The costume options for CoV don't seem evil, but they have what would be percieved as evil, like the chains and skulls and what not- but nothing that smacks of evil....you are not adorning yourself in the mane of your enemy, nor keeping a bible made out of their flesh.....Of course rated T you can only get so much.

Heroes should be getting trenchcoats, the thug MM have them and this is kinda of a "test" to see how they look before they turn the idea loose on the playing public...

They will be prestige items that you have to earn like capes and auras and stuff. Maybe we will see them in I8......

and from the context of the your quote, you'd stand there, watch people ask you to re-zone, and you'd ignore them.

and if you do respond to them...then this thread doesn't apply to you. this thread is about people who AFK to grief the PvPers.

this is not the "nerf afk" bus, this is the "nerf the people who are griefing PvPers by AFKing bus". you're oversimplying the issue to make it seem more feasible to your rediculous argument.

the timer badge in sirens is for PvPers. if you don't want to PvP, you don't deserve the badge. but that's irrelavent. so long as you don't interfere with the game in Sirens (which includes the bounty system) feel free to get it.

if you're gonna AFK to specifically prevent people from getting their badge, or AFK to get the badge but ignore the people playing in sirens asking you to rezone...then there in lies the problem.

i don't know how many times i have to repeat that....simply AFKing is not the problem...it's when people think that all that matters is what they want to do, regardless of how to it affects other people, there's the problem..

and again, this is not about badge hunters. this about people who refuse others their fair chance to play the game properly.

a normal person who doesn't want to PvP but want the badge will just let people take their bounty, and continue to get their badge.

the devs did say otherwise. The devs said to petition people in bases after 15 minutes to be removed from the zone. sadly, petition takes about 2 hours...so that's way too long

just because you can enter the zone, doesn't mean you can do whatever you want. the same way you can't go into the hive, and start training monsters to raiders.

Sirens isn't just a pvp zone. it's a pvp zone where you hunt your bounty, and hotspots. taking your bounty is part of the game. considering how taking out your bounty yields the greatest reward, i'm guessing it's the biggest part of it.

and agian, why is getting a badge so important that you are willing (and take pride) to annoy the entire opposing faction for the entire 5 hours you're there?

and again....PvP is the act of playing the game where you "play fight" other players, try and defeat them, etc. now the way you treat other people as people...that's part of social behaviour that you should be responsible for as part of society.

you need to tell your mom to cancel your account because this game isn't turning you into a well-adjusted normal person. seriously.

I never claimed that the purpose of the zone is to kill your bounty exclusively, it is however, part of the game, and a good part of it.

Anyone has every right to be in any zone if they meet the lvl requirement- the PvP zones are not any different. How do you know why they are AFK- is it just to deny you their bounty? If someone has NO interest in PvP but wants the 5 hour badge, they can do that- just because it puts a crimp on your getting that specific bounty does not prevent you from PvP'ing with other players.
