It and it's 4 friends coming right up behind it.
Those ships are teh amazing sauce. -
I'm sure that if you cleaned up a sketch so that it has nice solid linework, you could.
-
Wow. Yeah that's pretty cool. Wish heroes could do it.
-
I'm actually doing some now, check my Deviantart account.

Nothing spectacular, I'm not that great. But I like heroes. -
Yeah being able to see his back is a definite bonus. That is one massive back
-
This must be villain side? Never heard of it... :/ Sounds fun.
-
If only we could have 'backpack' units instead of capes and wings. Because a little pack or jet object or storage thing would look perfect on this toon.
The cape I feel makes him look like he's got something caught on his gears
..... Unless that's the look you're going for! In which case the ripped one would be fun! -
I'd actually lose the cape, myself.
He looks fantastic, he could totally be a little megaman -
He made an announcement, but many of those tend to get wiped when mods find them, even when they're from a very popular poster.
He said he's not collecting art any more, devoting more time, effort and money to other things. He will probably be back to check up on us. -
.... You're not on your own list? I loved your Rocky, and the others too!
-
Shhhhh!
Since I just realized that my new zoo pass hasn't arrived yet, I should probably work more on these... -
Please do!!
What's fun about this forum area is that a lot of the same folks DO get their toons drawn, but that means that instead of just a haphazard bunch of 'I drew this' threads, we all pretty much recognize the characters in question.
Can't wait! -
Good work!!
Now.... Take some printer paper instead of lined paper and you're set
That's actually an excellent piece, good proportions and solid colors
When you get some time, after everyone else's requests before mine, Winter's True Spirit might give you a little challenge -

It is very difficult, or so I find, to work with Paint...but I have witness many do it...such as http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uk2sPl_Z7ZU
Watch and be amazed....

o.o
I go to die of shame now. -
lol!
There are plenty of people who do conquer Paint, surprising results can be had. It's actually what I'd choose to use for any pixel based art (ie: not scanned, but done exclusively with mouse). Keep trying! -
Paint Shop Pro 8, one good program before Corel killed it by buying Jasc. Does everything photoshop does, gimp, and OC if you've got a tablet, but it's down to around 30 or 40 bucks when you find it on ebay... And worth every penny.
it really depends on what exactly you want your pictures to look like: whether you draw and scan, color on the computer; paint with mouse; paint with tablet/electric pen; etc. Each program has its good and poor qualities. -
It's excellent that little bases are getting some attention here! I have a little base
I do have a problem with it, though, because I want very much to put in a control unit and another telepad, but with the Startup work shop that I had to use to start, I can't really move anything around to work on it. (plus, I really, really want that large space to work with). Is there any way of getting around this problem? I have barely enough power as it is, if I put in a new control unit in the control room I don't have enough power, and I don't have enough space to put a power room separately.
Spirits of Paragon is a 1 person, 3 account base with around .... I'd say slightly less than 700k prestige in it (not sure, I keep having to retract what I want to do). It has a main hall (startup), 1 telepad (..... which USED to use two portals, but noooooo, now I can only use one... brazzafrazzin...), 1 med room, a work room used as salvage storage, and an enhancement storage area, plus a control room currently unused for control.
Spirits of Paragon - Overview
Spirits of Paragon - Entryway - it's a little crowded, but I like the feeling that people live here.
Spirits of Paragon - Entryway, view of the ceiling because I like ceilings too, don't neglect your ceilings.
Spirits of Paragon - Medical hall - also contains sleep area, library and worship altar.
Spirits of Paragon - Salvage Storage - also contains assorted storage for medical and personal use, as well as a 'corner photo area'.
Spirits of Paragon - Main Hall - the entrance from Medical where you can see the power/control table, as well as the storage and invention racks.
Spirits of Paragon - Main Hall - the back to nature meditation area (one of two similar, the other is diagonally across from it).
Spirits of Paragon - Main Hall - the Fishing Hole (that's right, we have a fishing hole...)
Spirits of Paragon - Potion Chamber (enhancements are stored here)
Spirits of Paragon - Underground Pond (control room with no control devices in it)
Spirits of Paragon - Telepad
By the way, I swiped the water idea from Okashimi -
..... He's got pets named Bed Pan and Catheter. That rules.
And yeah dude: get a bigger monitor and better resolution - shrink your UI down a little so you might actually see your surroundings! MOnitors these days are getting cheap! Get yourself a nice samsung 22" and see the amazing, amazing difference it can make! -
Mmmmmm. Sexy Jay for the win. The butts in this game rule.

Are the elves your work (Elf Form!)? That's cool....
[/ QUOTE ]
Yes, all the stuff regarding the Otherforest and Elves on my links are, while loosely based on the Elfquest comic, my own stuff (art and characters).
Fill out teh form. Send me request. I have a lot of elves left to do for the forums, but... I quit my job last week and I've been getting more and more stuff done writing and artsy. -
Roffle! Moon over Skyway is great - I love the forced perspective that makes the character look about 1' tall
