I lol'd a lot
It makes me wonder what the neighbors / people in the buildings nearby thought when you guys were screaming and running around. -
Defnitely a great idea for a new section!
Of course, crawling through the Screenshots area should provide some stuff... Nice to see it separated out though, because making movies and machinema is quite different from just taking screenies!
Ooh - perhaps move information about demoediting to its own sticky place here, that's one thing that would really help. -

Very cool.
Thanks for your help!
Too bad they aren't unlockable...

They don't need to be unlockable, they're available to buy with the other parts of the online pack. Link is above. -
Generally, have some practice on non-chibified or caricature work beforehand. Reason I say this is that to really know what goes into a "distorted" version, you'd want a reasonable grasp (even in theory) on what goes into a fully fledged figure.
Myself, I have difficulty with chibiforms, because I really don't like drawing out of proportion. Even when I make creatures which have extra limbs or longer bodies, they're still 'realistic' and not 'cartooned' in feel, but that's just me.
But all that aside, the one you've posted is cute
Buy some unlined paper, a ream of copy or printer paper will do. It's much easier to work on than lined paper
Also, with unlined paper - you can put it over your original work and ink or clean it up by simply tracing over it. All artists need a good light table or something similar, but you can do the same with just reasoably good lighting and a hard, light-colored surface below your work.
And - with Deviantart, watch what format you put your things in. You've sent a png up, and probably what happened was it got placed in the "preview" or thumbnail area, because on DA, ONLY .jpg format can go out without a preview.
Take your image and if you can, "save as" a jpg. You don't need a png for something fairly small - png is really good for 'full color transparencies' (like .gif images are good for 256 colors with a transparent edge, particularly used on websites; png format is full millions of colors, with a transparency layer - that's more info than your picture needs right now.) So if you save as a jpg you can re-upload it. Make sure what size your picture is, too, in pixel/pixel - when you load to DA, it will ask you what size you want the "full view" to show, be sure to say "original size".
They've added so much crap to that site, making it so very hard to post things easily Meh. But, still - keep drawing!! -

I believe they already can do that, you just have to leave em alone long enough so it recharges...
Aside from that: yay!
No doom! -
Oh my god, I started giggling madly at Black Angus and Biff McTightpants but then I reached "Human Matchstick" and just... wow!!!

As for celebrity Lookalikes, I think I've seen a character looking a bit like Pamela Anderson before. At least in the topular zonage.

.... Yeah but around here, who hasn't? -
Just pm ex libris with it then if you don't "trust" your fellow players and forum goers to whatever mystery things we might do if we knew you play (or created) whatever toon... o.0

Show us, if you're doubtful than it's likely genericable. That's been a pretty good rule of thumb in here: if you have to ask, it's already pretty clear what the answer will be.
However, the character if it's not in an American product may not even be *recognized* by most folks. I don't get that impression from your post though.
Homages = good, because they play upon but don't actually EVOKE the character in question. Then again, this argument's been beaten many many times as a zombie horse might attest: what some people consider Homage, others might consider Ripoff, and still others might not even know what they're talking about. -
Er.... I beg to differ. If someone's spawned something they can't handle, and I'm in range, I would GLADLY go help. Mostly because there are a good number of times I've been all but the only person in a zone and suddenly there are +6s around me. Can I handle those? No matter what level I am, the answer is *no*. Is there anyone around to help? Mostly, no, so I wind up nearly dying by trying to train the +6s to the nearest drone - which might or might not lead me past plenty of +4s or +5s in the process.
So, to heck with your snubbing of the requests of others. Once or twice people have swooped in to save MY day, it's the least I can do to help save someone else's. -
In your experience, maybe it's not lessening. Sorry that's the case for you. But in mine, it's all but gone. I got my first /tell last night, the first one in like 3 weeks. Your experience is not universal.

Hee
Plus, I'm pretty sure Sexy Jay did too. Otherwise I doubt we'd have that look at all... with the outlines, and all. Bruce Boxleitner and Jeff Bridges in tights.... yah lol. -
See that's not bad right there, and great screenie.
Of course if it's a Deadpool-like dood, I hope you talk *constantly*. -
Pfff. ... Oh wait. I don't work. lol. Heh I just figured, if people already have DB characters up to like, 30 or 40 already, they've had nigh on two weeks to use these fantastic costume pieces! Get with it! heeee!

That I can almost guarantee won't happen First they don't post a lot, they're on vacation, and it's purely against the EULA Doesn't really stop threads from being posted, though. We all know how fun it is to *look* but not touch these things. Sadly, lawyers don't tend to think so. -
.... *cries* no one? I know I can't be the ONLY Tron fanatic in this game.
*goes off into corner to ponder blue-pilling it once more.* -
The only one I ever made really was the Honey Nut Cheerios Bee, for a costume contest one time. I deleted him long ago, and I don't think I ever got screenies, which was stupid of me. It was pretty cute.

My character Charybdis on Protector was made a long time back, a Matrix fan persona that I adapted into the City.
Her original drawing and concept, plus the first version render from way back in 2k4...
and then the New Improved Tronlike Enforcer Costumery (yes the original costume is still there, this is slot 2)...
And finally the Ultimate Matrixy Tron Enforcer Charybdis.
Took a Rikti room screenshot, combined it with the picture above, and then used a couple heavily edited stills from Matrix production pictures for the head gear. And aside from the Enforcer bit around her mouth, which I'm not so fond of, it pretty much is what I'd want for the character to look like if not wearing her 'code dress' in the first picture
She's got I think the Tights option with electricity pattern, the one Enforcer top, the Enforcer gloves, belt, short skirt, tights with the Dagger pattern, Enforcer boots, and the Dagger pattern on shoulder-cape which you can't see in that picture. Here's a wider angle.
Anyone else done Tron? The Enforcer glowy outline serves so well for that... -
Do they actually come bigger than that? I've had the pack a long time, haven't really looked. Heck, screenshots might be a better option...
-
"Portrait". lol. Save "bust" for other things....

What a huge issue!
Grats Dirtwolf! -
WOW. Those are some impressive outfits! Grats to the winners, you deserved it!!

I think right there, if the dog was friendly enough to allow a stranger to bring her around anywhere, that's the sign of a good dog. Regardless of whether it's been abandoned or not, I hope for the best on this.
