  1. The Curse of the Black Spot

That was a fairly okay episode. Nothing spectacular, but an all right story.

Next week certainly looks much more interesting though!

    SPOILERS

Rory almost kicked the bucket... again!

She didn't seem to have her blaster with her at that point. It was the same gun she used to shoot the Stetson off the Doctor's head.

Of course, the more interesting point is, why was the suit immune to bullets, when one clearly smashed through the helmet in the second episode.

In addition, it's almost all human technology, it may have all sorts of life support and things that make it move, but it's still just a space suit, capable of being damaged like anything else... yet it wasn't when River fired at it.
Something else is going on here.

Well, when the Master when nuts and unleashed all of the energy in his body he could fly and throw lightning and I think had super strength.

However, this seems to be killing him pretty quickly. It even seems unfixable by regeneration "all this body can do is die."

So, maybe this Time Girl is having the same problems, she was dying, but said she could fix it... but for her to know that shows she must have done that before. She could be constantly regenerating, but it's only giving her a limited reprieve before her unleashed energy starts killing her again and she needs to regenerate again.
  4. The thing is, if you're going to say you're the best country in the world, standing up for freedom and democracy, then you have to do that in private as well as public.

How can you expect any other country to take you seriously when you are doing all the thing you're telling them not to do?

There are some horrible, horrible countries and governments out there, a million times worse than the US, but that doesn't change the fact that these thing took place and one of the things that make our countries better is that when evil things are done, they should be exposed and punished, not covered up and allowed to continue.

Also, well done for slipping a "you're just jealous of us" message in there.

I don't hate America or Americans, far from it. But it often feels like you deceive yourselves into thinking America is pristine and shouldn't be criticised by outside sources.

To even remotely think that this wikilinks ordeal is good for anything is absurd. There are people dead now because of it. Not possibly dead, really dead. People that risked their lives for whatever reason, to bring truth to light.
These kinds of secrets must be kept because there are evil people in this world, and one of the ways to guard against it is with clandestine activity.
The only people served by wikilinks are the enemies of the western world. People that want to bring destruction, death and harm. Assange is not a hero, he is an accomplice of evil men around the world that live only for the atrocities they commit.
So basically, "We can do what we like, because we're the righteous good guys and if anyone has proof that we're not, they're as evil as the eeevil badmen we're trying to stop."

Also, I highly doubt anyone was killed because of these, all identifying information was removed. I think the newspaper's probably wouldn't have published them themselves otherwise.
Yeah, that's right, the newspapers published these things as well, or do you support censoring the press too "for the greater good"?

You should be angry at your own government for doing these things, not wikileaks for uncovering them.

Then again, I suppose ignorance is bliss.

Hey, people used to be executed because of shell shock, I'm sure one more unjust execution won't be a problem.

The Doctor just allowed the Silence to bring about their own demise.

The Doctor I know didn't kill things
It's not like he wiped out two races during the Time War, or killed another entire race by drowning it's babies.
On a smaller scale, since the revival, he's directly or indirectly killed or attempted to kill Casandra, several Slitheen, the Krillitane, the Wire, Satan and a bunch of Angels.
That's just in the new series.
  8. I am actually shocked and surprised.

That was just, the most surreal episode ever.
Also, the Silence are awesome, they may not have done anything, but it's clear they're up to something.

Just as well WikiLeaks didn't do that then.

It's a film made by a company called The Asylum. They make direct to DVD B-movies based on recently emerging blockbusters to capitalise on their popularity.
  11. I started to smirk when I saw Kevin Nash's name, I totally lost it when I saw Thor with a running along firing a sub-machine gun.

Most Doctor Who episodes are around 42 minutes long (plus credits). This makes it roughly the same length as other hour long shows, they shouldn't be removing bits. Of course, a few episodes have been longer, such as a few series endings.

Brilliant! Loved it, this series is starting off with a bang!
  14. Indeed, Planet of the Dead isn't necessary, all you need to know is that an old psychic woman says to the Doctor that "He will knock four times."
  15. I don't often feel much when I hear a celebrity dies, even ones I like.

But... I don't know... something about knowing that she is gone hit me harder than I expected.

    She'll certainly be missed.
  16. Naaaaaaail... ... ... NAAAAAAAAIL!

    I love his character.

    Or my favourite...

"I think I need an adult."
    "I am an aduuuUUUUUUULT!!!!"
  17. I'm so excited! They look awesome!
  18. What would you expect a funeral parlour on a high street to look like?

I'd like to point out, that that look could also be for a bank or any number of professional type buildings.
  19. Much better, but that mask/costume still looks dodgy sometimes. Still, it actually looks like a film I'd ignore that for now.

  21. Okay, stop trolling. Rory's a great character. You don't like him? Fine, stop ruining this thread due to your own misplace hate.

Also, anyone else notice the 9th/10th Doctor's TARDIS around 0:37?

    Primeval

I never watched passed the first episode. Everything I've seen since shows it to be pretty bad imo.

Why? A season can by any number of episodes. Doctor Who has 13 episode seasons, some shows have just 6.
