1) Body type never has and never will have anything other than an aesthetic effect on a character. No costume part or body type has ever had any stat related effects on a character. Not happening.
2) The Devs have mentioned before how time consuming this would be. They'd need to rework every single pwerset in the game to account for more arms, they'd have to build and rig the thing to look natural (as an animation student I know how long that could take. Its not a short ammount of time)
So, no. It won't be happening in CoX1. -

1. /unsigned. No one ever needs the exact same insp all the time. As situations change with each missions circumstances occur that require different insp's and an auto conversion will leave players unable to get what they actually needed because their stuff was converted to something else. -

And second while I don't begrudge them a few bucks they make selling Boosters I have often wondered.. Why can't we get something nice like that as a vet reward? I know I am not the only person in this situation..... At this point I have so many FREE RESPECs I could change my characters powers daily for a week or more and still not run out and then add in the ones I have earned running trials for badges plus the ones they give us in game when needed to correct a problem. I DONT NEED ANY MORE PLEASE STOP!

"Ye claim t'be a Soldier of the Most High? An Agent of Divine Punishment?" he asked with a manic grin, hissing slightly between his teeth. "Ye'll have t'prove that t'me, ya burnin' freak!"
The man swung, blades flashing in the moonlight. -

But it didn't go down.
If it had been angry before, now the demon was just plain-old ticked. The fissures of its cracked, pockmarked visage gleamed with malevolent, ice-blue fire, and the flesh of its mouth oozed forth that tar-like black blood which dripped viscously onto the ground like crude oil as it advanced on the closest Protector, the chilling embrace of its aura reaching for the vat-grown super even as a massive, hooked sword of hellfrost swiftly coalesced into being within the demon's claws...
His companion went to do the same, but paused and looked up as a shadow eclipsed her.
With a wet and sickly sounding SPLAT one of Lusca's flailing tentacles descended, landing on the Protector like a swat on a bug. There was little chance of a battle tank surviving such a blow, let alone something humanoid and non-Invulnerable.
Now there were only three Protectors and a handful of SWAT left; the battle was fast claiming it's casualties. The numbers seemed set to dwindle even more, however, as the Protectors exchanged a glance, before suddenly moving away, the two on the ground (or Octopus) taking to the sky and regrouping, before fleeing towards the War Wall gate. Below them, the SWAT fell back to the vans, aiming to make a getaway the same way.
Whoever was pulling the strings had clearly just sounded the retreat. -
I fully appreciate that, but the PPD don't even use miniguns. Were it an LMG or HMG or something (Machine Guns, for those not into acronyms) I could buy it, or the aforementioned side-gunners with conventional weapons.
Is there any precedent in-game or canon/lore for the PPD simply rolling in and just stuff in the face with a gatling gun, though? Their cops; they tend to be more about arresting stuff, not reducing it to paste on the pavement.
I realise the SWAT in IP seem to run counter to that, but lord knows I've been dropping enough hints about plot involvement there... -

people spend billions on their characters why is it there is always someone trying to find ways to deprive them of things they worked hard to ontain when all you have to do is make the bad guys tougher?
I'm still annoyed that the ITrials see fit to rob my MM of his Nemesis Force Staff. Clearly it's totally OP'd.... wait... -

Seeing others give chase, the man in the long coat grinned, taking a running jump on the next roof. The sheer distance he could cover in one bound suggested a strength above that of the average human. He grinned as he gave chase, the bayonets hissing out once more.

The helicopter and Jacub came into view.

Boots left concrete, the figure launching himself forward, blades poised.

Look, not to be a stick in the mud but, seriously? Since when have Police choppers ever had weapons mounted on them? Let alone a full blown minigun. Police gunners and snipers riding the chopper? Sure, pretty believable.

While the Tanker still struggled against the Demon, something else was obviously going on. There was a sudden surge of energy readings inside the helms armour plating before, with a sudden crack and a large Boom the helmet detonated, exploding violently in the Demons face and mouth, and liquifying the contents. It's previous owners body instantly went limp.
The other Protectors exchanged glances.
"Assuming field command," the clawed Scrapper snapped a split second later.
"Roger roger," came the reply.
Turning away, the woman took a flying leap onto one of Luca's tentacles and, as the PPD forces aimed away from her, charged upward to get to grips with the 'pilot' of the massive sea creature, claws drawn and ready.

The man with the sword-bayonets followed onto the roof in one massive jump, but he simply stood and watched as Jacub fled.

I have no problem with microtransactions, and already own all the booster packs.
I DO have a problem with a model based on The Other Game, because the way they do things is frankly horrible, and would not want that anywhere near CityOf. Ever. -
It would help if Flamethrower was also front loaded, rather than just DoT. It might actually be worth than ammount of End if it actually delivered the total damage sometime this century...
The other problem of course is that, while the costs may be similar to some other sets, AR is the only one (Bar DP) that is Lethal damage, which is much higher resisted throughout the game and especially at higher levels. -

Edit: Techbot doesn't get it. He misinterpreted your request as wanting to remove existing features as pay-to-access only. Techbot, the OP was asking for MORE stuff, not less.
The OP mentions the Other Game and how 'cool' it would be if we had stuff the way the other game does.
The Other Game is F2P. This means those who pay nothing get the bare bones, bog standard vanilla version. Everything else has to be paid for in a microtransaction. Such as the examples I used as parralels for what it would be like.
We already GET more stuff in the free updates, and some paid for stuff in the boosters. Asking for more stuff exclusively as paid for only is a bad idea, one I will never sign to. -

We already get these things. They are called Free Updates.
That game is 'Free' to Play (F2P). Which means ANYTHING not in the base game you have to pay for. It'd be like having to pay for access to Incarnate trials, pay for access to Cimerora, Ourobrous, pay for access to Pocket D, pay for VG armour, pay for pretty much everything.
No. Heck No.

M30 Grenade: Changed to around 12 end
Flamethrower: Changed to about 15.18 end
Why does M30 have the same end cost as the Tier 9, Full Auto, which is vastly superior in pretty much every single way? And why on Earth is Flamethrower 22 end as it stands now? The power is simply not impressive or powerful enough to merit that endurance cost.
