Five toggles and spamming attack powers like lightning storm and tornado with fire cages cost a lot of end.
I find myself using light form to recharge, not because I need more resist. Team I ran LGTF with last night I was already at 80% or more damage resist without light form from cosmic balance.

Havnt had any issues finding a place on the weekly Tf yet, though my stalker isnt 50 yet so I havnt tried. -

Having focus doesn't just mean it's the application "on top" of the screen. It means that it's the application currently accepting input from the keyboard. Even if you have 2 monitors, only one program will have focus, so you'd still run into the same problem anyway. Once you check the Task Manager, CoH will switch priority, even if it's on another screen.
One way you CAN check this though (even if you use one screen).. is to set your Task Manager Options to "Always on Top", and make sure the cityofheroes.exe process is visible on the list. Click on the game window to give it focus again, and then right click directly on cityofheroes.exe to check the priority. At the moment you click, the priority status hasn't changed yet, so you will see it's set to "Normal". If you check it after Task Manager already has focus, you'd see "BelowNormal".
You'll have to do it "just right" to notice how it works and see the correct results, but that's just the nature of it.
I took a quick look for a utility that would show processes and their priority, so I could stick it on the other monitor and watch it change, then I got bored with it.
Anyone know a process monitor tool that will show the priority and update in real time? -

MANY things contribute to lag. While it's possible that you have a program running in the background that steals priority from City of Heroes, it's far more likely that there's network traffic issues between your computer, your local ISP's router, their connection to one of the "backbone" service providers, the backbone's connection to City's datacenter's ISP, and that ISP's connection to the game's login and map servers.
Plus there's internal network lag on City of Heros' end, inside the datacenter. Its minimal.. unless there's a hardware failure or the specific mapservers can't keep up with the demand on processing power. -
Does it matter if the proc is on a pet or pseudo-pet? Do I need to add the pet chanels as well?

I finally found an email I hadn't looked at. I thought it was the standard we sent it to the next level stuff.
The tech wants to know what sever I was playing on at a certain time. Like I remember for sure what sever I was on before, but not after 6pm on the 10th. I let them know what servers I play the most and that I don't remember. So they asked again.

Check your spam folder to make sure the reply from support didn't get tossed in there by accident. If your ticket really got closed without being resolved, PM Avatea or Zwillinger and explain the situation and they should be able to sic someone on the problem.

What channel(s) do procs use?
I want to make a proc tab to check how often things are going off. Performance shifter seems to use healing, but others dont.
I have as many as 12 procs on a given character and want to know they are working. Some have subtle graphics or seemingly none at all. -

its a decent question really instead of looking for the OP powersets i'm looking for the ones that don't get the love.
right now i have been working on my ele/ele dom which my SG leader was telling me why having ele/ele was a bad choice when i could've done better and i told him this character i started when GR came out and was working on it for awhile this toon is currently only 33 but its fun to play and he told me i need soul for my epic pool for whatever reason. but after soloing a mish or two i didn't really see an issue but back to the question at hand.
Any AT and power set can be made to perform by a good player. (not even a great player, just good) some are able to go to higher peaks then others, they will all however work.
I have an Ele/Ele dominator (lvl 30) as well as many higher level characters. After getting used to the play style I have found it to be a very powerful mix of abilities. Decent control, decent team buffs, decent foe debuffs and workable damage to solo. I look forward to getting 'Nicoli Tesla' to 50 and giving him an Alpha.
There are some, few, players who are very ridged in their mind sets and play styles, who for reasons I dont understand, think there is just one right way to play the game. Please for your own sake dont stay with a SG like that. (If in fact that is how things are for you)
Dont become an unsung martyr by putting up with another person telling you how to play your character(s) and, in effect, spend your $15/month. -

Is there, where is, an official know bugs list?
I'd like to know certain things are at the very least acknowledged, and of course, be for warned so that I do not needlessly bat my head against them in frustration. -

You dont necessarily need a gaming keyboard, if you have a Fry's or someplace close by you can go in and try out brands, not all have the problem. -

I read that teams for incarnate trials will be bigger. I wonder how this will interact with cosmic balance.

Yep. Just had a friend ask about this, as she'd been moving some stuff around via email.
I went in and looked - same thing. Little bonus for me (another character that could use it now has the Performance Shifter +END IO, and a stupefy they didn't need.) Don't recall if I had anything sitting there to *lose,* really - probably not, I don't shuffle things often. -

Glad I found this thread. I lost a few things as well.
I noticed time left has reset on some but not of my mail as well.
No doubt using duped items is exploiting the game and losing them is tough luck and you should be more careful.

Is it an AMD or Intel system?
AMD has a 'cool-n-quite' driver that may help. Your specific motherboard may have a driver to speed up and slow down the fans based on the temp. You might want to check and reinstall those drivers if they are available for your system.
For example I just upgraded an old laptop to windows 7 and now the fan in it runs full speed all the time rather then based on the temp readings. -

How many people are not going for the very rare alpha? Personally, the 2/3 ignore ED and the other bonuses don't interest me enough to waste components on building another rare. If Rare gets 1/2 ignore ED and the level shift, then it is sufficient for my needs. The investment for a very rare alpha slot compared to a rare alpha slot is not worth it IMO since I am not a minmaxer that requires to get the maximum benefit out of everything. Of course, I am using a Cardiac in a Mastermind so my endurance requirements are being met with just the rare. I am definite that there will be other incarnate slots that would warrant getting a very rare, but not the alpha.
May take me some time though. -
What happened to it?
Using the Hero Stats in game buff/power timer requires the use of windowed mode.
Used to be able to playing windowed mode and not have boarders and windows UI elements at the top and bottom of the screen.

Dont forget each DIMM is two banks of ram. Having all the dimms the same size across banks can increase speed too by allowing all the banks to be interleaved rather then each dimm/bank.
Check out your bios options for memory management. After you find the jumper to clear cmos, just in case, you can try out the more aggressive interleave options. Hmm, I need to go double check what mine is set to.
