Assuming a lower final ACC is better... that really mimics trends in my DEF vs RES comparisons from Issue5's changes...but on a much grander scale. End result: RES is still King, and -ACC is left WAY behind everything else.
(the difference between Medium and Mean is a Boss or two and LT's in a larger spawn versus a ton of Minions and some LT's...and everyone knows that a lot more minions and only a couple LT's is MORE REWARDING xp-wise than a smaller spawn with couple Bosses/EB's thrown in) -

That's because nomatter what, you've always had Practiced Brawler. It's an entirely DIFFERENT story when you're being mezzed every 3rd hit and losing ALL of your -ACC/+DEF based toggles. ...but then no one expects most scrapper and blaster players to honestly and genuinely be sympathetic to the plight of defenders in the long-run... *cough*Castle*cough* ...no, when things go badly for you, y'all just yell "H3AL ME!" at the Defenders...anything else they might have been attempting to do is just a waste of effort where your welfare is concerned. I guess we're back to the status quo of 6-slotted Twilight, 02boost, Alkaloid, and RadiantAura by level-10, lest we start getting kicked off teams again.

Well, to be fair we don't know that. It could be another 1-2 months, or 1-3 months unless Statesman or CuppaJo say "a month away from live".
Given how fast and with the apparent ease of which they pushed out free costume tokens, I don't think it would be hard (and hardly unbalancing for the game) to push out an extra Freespec *immediately*, and then to do so again after I7 comes out. Respeccing a character is *not* a game unbalancing thing, and people still did the respec trials immediately after they came out. I did Terra Volta a day or two AFTER the last Freespec. Why? I wanted another one.
Note they've done interim Freespecs before like this after dropping big changes, and it hurts nothing.

Nope, but PvP Debuffing just took another hard one in the yippybob again... Like I've said elsewhere, this is a drop from 3 SO giving 96% total enhancment, to just 55% for the immediate future. That's why I'm demmanding a 'Freespec' with this Patch, ON TOP of the one they'll be owing us in Issue-7. Anytime a whole set... (such as my Dark-Blasts in particular which I was just barely getting by on in PvP on my Dark/Kin corruptor) loses 40% of it's Debuffing capability, it's Game Over... and you have to rebuild it to survive in other ways such as reslotting for self Healing, Recharge of other power types, and even take up pool powers to get by.
If Statesman has any level of remorse for this Scheduling conflict which was entirely his fault, or Positron's fault, then he can show it by atleast giving us Respecs each time these powersets are radically changed. ...And don't anyone try kidding yourselves about I-7's test duration... it's a HUGE DAMN patch, bigger than Issue-1&2 combined, bigger than any issue we've seen yet. ...And that means more bugs, exploits, and voodoo phoenomenae than we've ever seen outside of Beta testing. There's no way in hell it'll be out a month after this current patch hits Live. Those who want to go almost 2 months on gimped builds can do it if they don't feel like respecing. But I have no issues with a little extra work to preserve my avatars, it's better than whining about it for almost 2 solid months and doing nothing to change it. -

No, there wasn't an official word on it. At one point, I remember Castle briefly nodding over his shoulder when it was brought up... but he frequently posts opninions that don't necessarily reflect any official stances. It's part of why he's so well liked by so much of the community.
If there was an official stance before now on WW's non-rooting effect, it would create a paradox with their Exploit Policy and they couldn't refer to it now as an Exploit. It's either a Bug that they could warn us would be removed, or it's an Exploitable Feature... it's not both. -
Issue 6 was a month and a half away from issue 5's, and for heroes.. wasn't considered a full issue, CuppaJo agreed it had to be downplayed infact and not called an actual "free expansion", but SINCE it included E.D. in it, we got our FreeSpec. It was a major infastructure patch update ... which this patch has enough criteria to qualify as close enough.
Rescheduling/Rebuilding it wouldn't be an issue if it wasn't. -

Great... just Great... then you can "Make the decision" to give us a 'Freespec' with this patch so we won't be totally gimped between now and when I-7 finally goes live. Debuffing defenders already have enough hardships to endure. A month or more of sucking b/c you guys messed up the development schedule.... shouldn't be one of them

There's another issue with GI though that's PvE related... if you reapply it, that person for some reason becomes visible again if they have no other stealth powers, and has resulted in being Alpha-Struck by mob spawns MANY times in my SG where a lot of us take Grant Invis and use it to setup for AoE debuffing blitzes.
...This makes Reapplying G.I. MORE dangerous than just letting it run out later in a lot of instances, especially instances where there might be large armies of mobs or AV's like Siren's hotspots and the new R's.V. PvP Zone.
...Shouldn't frequently reapplying G.I. be a win win situation for everyone? -

Oh shut the hell up, nothing's happened. This isn't a real nerf, even for my Stalker's standards. A real nerf to your Risk-Free PvP Ganking abilities would be reduction in your Mez protection or making AS's resistable. You all should be kissing the Devs' [censored] because Corrs/Defs and Controllers got slapped around silly this Patch but you guys were barely even touched. Plus you get PatronPowers with far-superior synergies for your playstyles than anyone else got. Go cry somewhere else.

But seriously, I don't see what you guys are having so much problems with in the Blaster Secondaries. My stinky AR/Elec blapper can solo Unyielding and I don't even have FullAuto yet. If you want to talk about a hodgepodge of melee/blasts that are truly underpowered, then you guys need to give a Dom a trying out. They even make frikkin Energy-Melee feel weak and uneffective. My Blapper is twice the dominator my Dominator is...bonus points for having more Health on top of it. -

Yeah, well maybe it should be "brought up internally" that the real problem(And main cause for Ganking in the next issue) stems from stalkers hitting Buildup and Placate while in Melee range and immediately starting an AS while their opponent is still under the effects of travel suppression. It's a little hard to break line of sight at that point... Oh, and the 1% solution doesn't solve this problem either.
Just thought I'd toss that out there.... Since it would be a lot easier on both the Design Team and the Coding team to make Buildup and Enrage-popping suppress special effects like the Stealth pool power and the inability to target the biggest threat because you're placated or taunted. {This applies to Blapper/Tanker duos where the Tanker can TP-Foe and Taunt/Fear, and the Blapper can Buildup-->Snipe and then TF or lay tripmines right in melee and the taunted player can't do a goddamned thing to interrupt it). ..all of which can happen in the same time frame as an Assassin strike.} -

Reconstruction and Hoarfrost are supposed to give Toxic resistance, so it's likely they're the only ones that for some reason can't be affected that way. ...However if I find out my Hoarfrost CAN be debuffed but Reconstruction can't, I'm going to be rather pissed because I just rolled a Dark/Poison MM for a laugh, and other than endurance issues, it looks like they could easily humiliate an Ice Tank in PvP and I don't think that's right... Under some circumstances, they do more damage than many corruptors and that ain't fair to my Dark corruptor either. ...sorry, now I'm just rambling... Point is, all these BS/Rgn, EM/Rgn, and Spine/Regens in PvP got enough going for them as it is, they shouldn't be immune to debuffs that the rest of us are vulnerable to... End-Drains included.

It doesn't stack with itself either. I don't get that, it recharges fast enough, it's Clearly poison's version of Siphon-Power, and that stacks with itself just fine. What's the problem here? If it's not going to do what it says against everything it's supposed to do it against, then tell Geko to make the damn thing Stack from the same source so we atleast get some real use out of it in other ways and have a reason to slot it up....sheesh

This game is filled with very powerful, but very situational attack and defense powers.

Yes, That's also an accurate statment of what I'd also find to be good tactics and encouraging of teaming for everyone involved. ...And Hidden-status needs to be Buffed some so that the use of criticals can keep the Stalker's DPS up in PvP and PvE. ...not sure how they could do that other than reducing it's supression duration. I'm also relatively displeased with our low Chances of Critting a held opponent...that needs to be buffed some too. Ya Hear that Castle? Stalkers could use a number of Buffs even though you seem to think: 'none is warranted'

Just being on a team is hardly mutually exclusive to being one-shotted constantly by Stalkers. Then again it's also really tedious.. I have alot more fun taking some heroes down with my corruptor among other corrupters. Best part is, the most damage one of the Scrappers(On a critical) or Blappers has ever peeled off me in 1 shot was only half my HPs, not all of them like when a Stalker hits Buildup-->AS.
I see too much argument here on the damage amounts, and while that may factor into it like I just described, I think it's the 1-sided nature of it that's what really makes it Tedious and gives me no interest in playing a Stalker the way everyone else does. I mean what else is there to it? Ya Double Stealth in with Buildup, and sometimes Placate, and then peel off 90-100% (85% in a scrapper's case) of their HitPoints in one shot. And saying someone deserves to get 1-shotted on the spot because they don't have an Auto-Hit aura or Layer-3 perception is just malicious...Come on Thorz, you can't actually mean that.
Now if someone got 1-shotted by a Stalker who only had Hide going for him, no Stealth on top of it... or if "the meat" just stood around like an idiot after being Placated, then I could see how they earned themselves a rude suprise. But the way it can be done currently....(especially when Placate suppresses the interruption that many Player auras are normally capeable of)... is just plain Challengeless to an AT tasked with being the master of opportunity. No, their Buildup-AS'ing is all but guranteed, even against teams because most teams in PvP are still PuGs with very limited counters.
But then hitting buildup and popping enrages or insights while being invisible/stealthed and then using TP-Foe or some kind of Alphastrike is a cheap move that several AT's can all use and has consistantly resulted in the Gankfest nature of PvP since Issue-4 that's driven most players away from PvP. It's just not consistant with the Dev's normal standards of Risk-vs-Reward. If someone hits Buildup or pops Enrages/Insights, they should glow like the freaking Sun. And I'm not saying this because I'm the one getting hit, no I'm preaching this because I was the usually the one who was completely Invisible while downing Enrages and then 2 or 3 shotting people [ON A CONTROLLER] in PvP ever since Issue-4. It's cheap and I don't even want the temptation of it around anymore.
Do something about it Devs. No "Invisible Archetype" in PvP should also
have Alphastrike Capabilities, it totally screws up the teaming dynamics. -
