  1. I personally still feel Stalkers need an AoE Placate.

I get that. The RWZ does this really well, by acknowledging be for the villain I am. I will help, be I won't be singing *** by ya with the goodie-goodies. Instead, this zone story completely ignores the master of death they are calling their best friend.

I guess it will have to do. In the meantime, I go off to talk to some contact that thinks I'm his "savior"...yeesh!
  4. I know a few people here have mentioned it, but is there really anything villainous to do in First Ward? Now lets not muddy the discussion with the "definition" of villainous, because we have an entire game that does ok with it. So far, I have broken the neck of one idiot D.U.S.T. officer all the while saving this person and rescuing that person. As it has been said, why am I here again? Seriously, as a level 20+ I am not yet privy to the bigger picture, so I am still out for self. The villain I have is disgusted by by making friends and that's all I seem to be doing, it's ridiculous!
  5. Sadly, this is what most of us would do with superpowers. The world would have to either kill us or be conquered by us.
  6. I got the name "Doctor Cerebral" on Exalted and I really can't come up with anything to do with it.
  7. Now more than ever, we need to ditch the "path-driven" contact structure for a more open world, contact discovery system. "Dynamic Contact" lets the player discover his or her own way though the current content and gives the devs the ability to add content without having to be concerned with how it ties into the overall lore. Granted, Radio and Newspaper missions do a lot of this, but with these, you operate in a vacuum where more dynamic content would urge you to "find missions" by interacting with various locations and citizens, not specifically mission-granting NPCs.
  8. To try to "un-derail" this thread, I always assumed Lady Grey was the "Lady in the Lake" because her connection to Excalibur.

    The "official" list is:

    1. Reed Richards
    2. Dr. Doom
    3. Hank Pym
    4. Bruce Banner
    5. Tony Stark
    6. T'Challa
    7. Amadeus Cho
    8. Hank McCoy
  10. As the "Marvel Oracle" of my office, I spend a lot of time helping normals distinguish between what they see in the movies and cartoons and the actual comic continuity. When they see how much more depth there is in the comic stories, it seems they want to go out and learn more. This can only be good for us, for it means we move further out of the "niche" category and more into the main-stream.

    I can fly!

When this game goes 3-D there's gonna be a lot of vertigo.

...and have Michael Bay direct it!

Ignore the Captain_Photons. Ignore the Black Zots. Ignore the people who say it's not your business whether I'm beaten, bludgeoned, *****, or murdered. If you can save me, please do. And after that danger is passed we can figure out what to do from that point on, whether it's calling the cops or going to a hospital.

You might even get yourself a sidekick.

Save me. Even if Photon and Zot and Others want you to let them die when they're in trouble: Save Me.

Godspeed and good luck, Phoenix Jones. May your oppressors be exposed as the bumbling fools and out of touch loonies they so obviously are.

This! All day long! If he is a real hero (and I think he is) he will stand before the accusations, plead his case, and accept the will of the legal system.

    Actually top 8.
  16. When we get to customize travel powers, can we get a vibration effect to replace the glowing feet?
  17. Both Marvel and NCsoft have a vested interest in limiting copy written characters in the game. For Marvel, it keeps City of Heroes from becoming the place where you can make your own Marvel characters and for NCsoft, it keeps CoH from becoming an advertising hub for all things Marvel.

I like Mako because he is such a savage, but there is always a reason for his killings. Crosscut has a totally different logic base, he kills with the same disregard as changing socks.
  20. I does make those alternate animations in MA seem redundant.
  21. I think Crosscut from the Dr. Graves arc is completely insane. He is a cross between Deadpool and Freddy Kruger. Every time he speaks, I want to hide my children. Whoever wrote the dialogue for this character should get a raise.
  22. My character is 5'3" and he's called Low Blow.
  23. Well the X-Men all get trained by Cyclopes and Wolverine and it's pretty mandatory for all Avengers who don't have fighting skills usually get trained by Captain America.
  24. There are very few characters in comics that are totally impervious to harm. Like the Punisher says, "There no such thing as bullet proof, you just need the right bullet."
  25. I would move Luke Cage from durable to invulnerable. Skin with the durability of Titanium make him more than durable.
