  2. mm, well to be honest, with SOs you should be able to stand in the middle of the mob with no problem anyway... I only really use Steamy Mist for Resistance, not Def/Stealth.

    -Definetley worth 6 slotting Transfusion with an extra heal
    -Don't think I'd slot ID, but I haven't checked the %s so don't take any notice if you don't want to
    -For transfusion, I have 3 end mods, but that's for PvP and big bosses that need draining.
    -3 Dmg Res in Temp Invul
    -I think it's worth putting 3 dmgs in your last attack, even if it means you won't be getting an acc in it, with leadership you'll rarely miss anyway, unless on big +s
    -Don't need Hover 3 slotted, with 2 Siphon Speeds on you move at a good rate when in combat
    -Maybe put a disorient in Total Focus, and it can stack with your sonic disorient if you get it for tough enemies

    Sorry I can't help with the rest, only played Kinetics + Power Mastery I'm afraid.

    Brute for PvP?

    It depends who you're fighting....

    I personally think that SS is best for PvP. Lots of single target, good knockdown to stop runners, and Rage gives abig boost to your acc + dmg.

    Sure, I guess Elec Armour is good against people that to Energy damage.

    Sure, I guess EA is good against poorly slotted PvPers.

    Sure, I guess DA is good against Neg/En and squishies.

    Sure, i guess Stone is good for survivability.

    Even FA is good. Against Fire damage dealers.

    No DMGs in Parry, either do 2acc, 2 rch, 2 defence, or if you're acc is very good (say with Focused Acc) 3 Rch 2 Def.

    3 rch in Conserve Power, get Hasten, put Rchs in Attacks.

    Oh yes.

    I'd say put 3 slows in Snow Storm, maybe 2/3 End Rdx in Hurricane, don't get Maneuvers (not that big of a buff, go for the Dmg + Acc ones), Dmg Res in Steamy mist rather than Defence, as I believe the Defence is just over Combat Jumping or something, and the res is very high. Just slot for full potential
  13. ah yes, you took a disorient power from Sonic. The Dark one is terrible, imo.

    What I mean is, without hurricane, you can get a good herd and fit loads of enemies for TClap, but then you'd die. Very fast . With hurricane, you stay alive, but only reach a few people.
  14. True, but it won't be the same amount, will it? As it does not get through the Diameter of Hurricane, only the circumference. Besides, you should have Freezing Rain running most of the time, which, not only would Hurricane mess up, but would make enemies scatter, rendering TClap pretty useless.
  15. I think you should always slot for full potential. EG, put 3 dmgs in all attacks (Laser Beam Eyes), and 3 rchs in certain powers (eg Conserve Power)

    Just make sure you don't make the mistake of getting all attacks and very few Storm Powers. Just read the guide to see a list of my opinions on the Storm Powers, unfortunately the attack section won't help, as you are /energy.

  18. Yup yup. You could say many characters are hard to play, but that doesn't make them gimped.

    A */Dark Scrapper can be extremely hard to play, what with the end problems. But there's always a way around it.

    I'd disagree with Homer_J on this; for PvP 'holds' are a matter of choice for a blaster.

    You hit squishies hard enough that they are down in 3 or more punchs, and you can't hold anything which you can't take down in those precious punchs.

    Pick the bones out of it all you wish, ive had over 900 hours worth of elec/elec blasting, and i feel that while the holds are nice, for PvP, this build is far more effective.

    Btw from what ive been hearing from all the nerf cries they gave into nerfing hurricane but thats not much to do with the point the nerf was like melee chars resist the -range cos i mean how close can u get for a hit and btw if u resist the repel/Kb ur gunna die to meleers so if ur in pvp and think u got uber stalker protection someone will come with protection to it and bang BU+AS and ur on 1 hp ( would be zero but I7 stopped one shotting. i miss it lol)and then one other attack and ur gone.

    Hehe, wanna bet?

    Please, feel free to bring your Stalker to Sirens call and meet me there. In fact, bring all the Stalkers + Brutes you can find. The only thing I've found to get past me are /En Brutes, SR users, and people with Rooted. SR + Energy, as they have AoE protection, I don't think Ninjitsu does.

    Besides, even if you COULD stand next to me, I really doubt that you would be able to touch me, for it's not the Repel that helps, it's the mega Acc Debuff.

    Oh, and you spelt they're wrong. Not to mention all teh txt ch4t.

    And, I do know Stalkers are everywhere, and I do know I am "that good" against them. I'm guessing you're relatively new to the game. But as I said, please feel free to send me an in game tell (@chi) and test out your theory of Stalker Uberness.

    Storm is very fun to play, and I would love to see more flying around. They can be very team friendly, as long as you know when to use what powers at what time. TBH, most of the people I team with (Coalition Ventrilo-ers) have learnt to deal with me breaking up mobs at times, or just accept me as the designated Tank. Although Storm has many AoEs, you will be great for debuffing Single targets, eg AVs. If you manage to keep them immobilised, you can throw in Tornado & Freezing Rain, while standing right next to them with Hurricane on, stopping your entire team from getting scratched.

    When teaming with, say, a Fire Tank, I normally keep on Hurricane, as it still protects me from a certain amount of damage, I just won't teleport in, putting Tornadoes everywhere.

    As said by Cybercell, you can always ask other for help/advice, or what they would appreciate you to do or not to do.

  21. /Kin is great if slotted properly. You can drain people in an instant, which makes Tanks/Scrappers/Brutes a doddle. Your massive Damage switchers can definetley turn the tide as well. Stack on a few Siphon Speeds, and they're pretty much stuck.
  22. Well, I know that both my Characters are in some ways 'Gimped', especially my Scrapper.

    My Scrapper was my first ever character, and to be perfectly honest, as I've said many times before, I hate him, and have many times thought of deleting him.

    Chi, however, was made as a secondary character, as a Tsoo Sorcerer- just for fun. Many people consider Storm a gimped set, but I don't care. He's fun to play, and although not the best 'Healer', he can tank like a pro .

    For the second question, I prefer to play a support character, but Brutes/Scrappers are good for a change. I don't see the point in playing an MMO without the 'MM'. There's nothing more fun than aggroing an 8 man map, then running back screaming.
  23. I don't see why... I mean you do get a bit of aggro, but it's not like you're tanking.

    I also have fly & hover, it works a charm. Stack your siphon speed and you move fast enough to go around the whole map at a decent speed. And you only really need the one Siphon when you're fighting.

  25. Well, I normally play males, but I currently have a SS/Inv Female Brute going, Jenna Side.

    I don't see anything wrong with it, as long as you don't go down the route to cyber.

    I don't see the point in playing an RPGame, if you're not going to RP, and are just going to make an ingame character of yourself...
