Old Statesman on CoX closing?

I was just wondering if anyone somewhere has heard Jack Emmert's opinion on the City closing down?

I knew he left a long time ago, but I still think it would interesting to hear his thoughts.

the only thing we've heard from Emmert was Via BaB when he debunked the "Cryptic license for the game engine" rumor

Which I respect him greatly for. He could have given it the response of silence.

Hey, it's still Jack's baby.

It may have grown up a bit since he was last here but I can't imagine he'd want to see it shut down any more than we do.

Lets face it, there's a lot of simmering dislike of the man which I never understood and I think is a bit silly now, but he was one of the people who gave us this game so, whatever gaming sins he may have committed, I think we can forgive him.

Maybe it's time to let that particular dead horse rest in peace?

Many people will be keeping quiet until they are certain there is nothing to be salvaged from this game.

I'm pretty sure that once it is closed and NCSoft withdraws into the east, people will have a few things to say.

Somehow I'm reminded of Samuel L. Jackson's "What do you mean, YOU people?"

Their headquarters and the bulk of their business is in South Korea, where it is widely speculated the "realignment" of their corporate focus largely rests.

In the east...

For some of us, it's actually closer to being the west.

I found nothing in that post to be racist ... or were you just trying to have a laugh?
