Funny thing about the Black Panther series is that I have seen in on BET, really late/early (3am) but it's on.

Spider-Man Unlimited wasn't great, but it wasn't terrible either... as long as you could get past that terrible spider web cape he wore.

Main Villain: Evil Gulzow-Man (Victory) 50, 1193 Badges

Aw, I liked the Spider-Man Unlimited costume. Counter-Earth Green Goblin and Laurel 'n Hardy Carnage/Venom were all kind of silly though.

No hate for the 6-episode 2000's Fantastic Four cartoon? I'm disappointed.

I enjoyed Spider-Man Unlimited, though I do agree the cape wasn't needed but I think it was a nod to the comic Spider-man 2099.

Basically Marvel wanted to compete with Batman Beyond, but between Pokemon/DIGIMON ratings and I think some in-house production problems the show didn't make it.

Batman Beyond costume: integrated weapons including built in grappling rope launchers (web shooter inspired I'm sure) as well as launching batarangs from the wrists and sensors and stealth mode.

Spider-Man Unlimited: stealth mode, integrated webshooters with standard and impact webbing, launchable spider-stingers, sensors, gas filter in mask......

Terry McGuiness = future Batman Peter Parker on an alternate futuristic Earth.

Nope, no similarities

I don't see this one in the Wikipedia entry. It only lists four animated series ranging from 13 to 26 episodes long. Out of the ones I've seen, the sort of recent one by that French animation studio was the most watchable.

I saw this on Netflix a while back and took in the first episode. Bleah. The review was far to charitable.

Too many alts to list.

I never watched the cartoon much, but the Spider-Man Unlimited costume was my favorite costume in the old N64 Spider-Man game.

I think the Thing cartoon (from Fred and Barney Meet The Thing) was pretty bad in and of itself, but there was an interesting premise there. "Benjy" wasn't really a teenager - he was the adult Ben Grimm who, due to a cure gone wrong, was trapped between being a scrawny clumsy teenager who everyone looks down on, and being The Ever-Lovin' Blue-Eyed Thing, who is loved the world over. And he hates being the Thing so much that even the scrawny teen that everyone mocks is a better option to him. The show itself doesn't do much with that premise (other than actually mentioning his self-loathing outright in the second episode!) but a modern take on it would be a very different show.

That was the Spider-Man 2099 costume, which looked extremely similar.

There was an Unlimited costume as well, though it lacked the cape. It had invisibility as a special ability (such as unlimited webbing with the Black Suit).

Yellowside: Dark'Falcon (Loyalist), lvl 20, Blaster

As already said... no, it was definitely the Unlimited costume. I liked it because of the Stealth ability. Most non-bosses didn't even know I was there.

(The 2099 costume was in the game, too, but its special ability was Double Damage, so I know I didn't mix them up)

Huh, I have no recollection of that whatsoever, but GameFAQs confirms.

I'm a little shocked that the old Iron Man series (Dubbed "Dire Man" by a friend of mine awhile back when one of the Disney spin-off channels was re-running it, reminding us all just how awful it really was-), didn't make the list.

As one of the half dozen people on Earth who actually remembers Force Works and has some affection for that run, Iron Man's first season was just... painful. The second in no way improved it. o_0

Season 1 of 90's Iron Man and F.F. were indeed bad. Changing studios though did give us an improvement in Season 2 but the damage from Season 1 was too great. Also what was up with that awful theme music they used for season 1? Season 2 had the far better song for Iron Man.
