Defiant still have mostly European community, so midnight Pacific time is our early morning (when majority is sleeping or going to work).
But number of people that play have dropped a lot. Regular teaming group still happen, but pugs are rare now.

I play about one day a week now. It's hard to muster the motivation for anymore than that.
I mostly just PuGed... And since those are disappearing...

I really only log on for scheduled events (mainly the RHW runs I run on Mon. nights) on Liberty. But after that? Yeah, no "point" in playing...I have all badges that I can possibly get on EI (titan sentinel/CiT won't update properly 
).
I do have to play the new story arcs in i24 on the beta server though at some point. I've done the rogue and villain arcs...just need vigilante and hero arcs done.

Also, a "spiritual successor" is no good to me, or many fans. We love this game because it's this game, not some successor. Hell, CO is "spiritual successor", and look how popular that isn't with most of the CoH player base.
People want to play CoH, as it is, not something else.

Everything very time sensitive right now. Please understanding process is fragile and one wrong saying one slip of tongue one problematic scenario could ruin everything being work on.
Please just waiting for October 12th. I know it seeming of eternity but it not this bad, that all I able saying.

The game is losing players to other MMO's as the days pass towards the scheduled oblivion.
If there was information to stem the numbers we're losing, then now would be a great time to impart that information to others.
But ... that isn't going to happen is it?

I've been reading the forums at Titan Network... there are a lot of things going on if you read between the lines of the development ideas being discussed.
Looking forward to Oct 12, whatever the secret is.
Right now I'm cataloging all my chars with SentinelPlus hopefully for either scrapbooking purposes or inspiration/use in the Spiritual Successor game.
Best of luck to all who are staying, personally I'm weaning myself off of this game. I love playing support types too much to stand not being able to find a team, due to the Incarnate / Non-Incarnate schizm, which is one of the things which I feel has assisted in the death of this game.
I currently have 2 VIP accounts, so I can assist myself to an extent in mission runs, but it's still just soloing.. and I have many much better games and things to do in RL that I can solo.

From the looks of it, it's still in the chaos stage and yet to focus on the important suff like raising the actual money to do it, who will do it, who or what entity will be created to safe guard the donation/investment/budget/cash that fall out the sky, what's in it for the investors, who or what employees are available and how they will get paid, budgets and the likes.
But it is throwing around ideas of the concept of a new game.
